All over the World people are protesting, demonstrating, and rallying in the tens of thousands for their concerns, ideals, and issues that will better their lifestyles. We must follow their lead. We cannot allow ourselves to be discouraged and our present "thrust" for Reparations to fizzle and die. Our efforts and energies must remain on a high, and it is imperative that we arouse and inspire interest in this regard and in every social and political aspect at our disposal.

In one Black History Book after another, we can find where the Slave Masters have stated that the Slaves were content with their dilemma. For Heavens' sake, let us not allow them to perpetuate this falsehood, today, regarding the ghetto life, the degradation, the indignities, and the oppression and affliction Black Peoples still face all over the World. We must speak out now while the time is right and without delay.

If we are unable to make plans for a Three-day REPARATIONS NOW…Conference in Atlanta, Georgia this summer, then let's assist which ever Reparations Group that has already established an agenda. And from my E-mail, ponticon@aol.com has one scheduled for July 29/30, 2000 in Washington, D.C.

The REPNOW Newsletter will highlight his NATIONAL COMPENSATION / REPARATIONS RALLY, as well as, all others who make their intentions known to me for advertisement.

The REPNOW Newsletter will also include WebSite links for information on Reparations, Reparations Organizations, and an enlightening book list on this topic. While I have been knowledgeable of the fight for Reparations for quite some time now, I am not informed of all the literature that's available to us. However, if I am notified, I would be too happy to post all information in the REP NOW Newsletter.

My efforts are to prove my sincerity for assisting others for OUR Reparations. And I cannot stress enough the importance of our working together in order to reach our goal. I am willing to work with all who are sincere and have a vested interest in making an honest and moral endeavor for the successful acquisition of Reparations. And because I am not alone with these desires, let us make profound use of our energies and help all REPNOW Organizations to make a statement in support of OUR Reparations Cause. We must put the "Mass Movements" in motion and follow the Late Dr. Martin Luther King and the MMM's leads, or we can stop complaining about the education afforded Blacks, discrimination and prejudice, race hatred, ghetto life, and the poverty in which we are forced to live under controlled circumstances by the powers-that-be.

I pray that The Honorable Silis Muhammad's request for a FORUM at the U.N. in New York is granted and forthcoming soon. His striving for such an opportunity to request Reparations for descendants of Slaves gives us much hope and more reason for us to support his efforts.

Patience is a virtue, procrastination and passivity are deprivations. But ACTIVISM gets the attention and manifests success, and this has been proven over and over again.
