HINTS FOR HARDY, HEALTHY HEBREWS:
As you already know, winter is upon us, and we are faced with the usual sore throats, colds, runny noses, earaches, and that dreaded flu! In addition to taking plenty of orange juice, hot lemon teas, aspirin/Tylenol, cold remedies, chicken soup, and the flu shot, if you take it, try some of the following herbal teas that stimulate the immune system and make you feel better.
Take zinc lozenges and Echinacea capsules at the onset of a cold or flu. Use as directed.
To stimulate the immune
system:
-Golden Seal/Echinacea Extract
-Cat’s Claw
Colds/Flu:
-Boneset (induces sweating reduces chills)
-Catnip
-Yarrow,
Sore throat:
Licorice Lozenges with Zinc (some folks swear by them)
Earaches:
-2-3 drops of aloe vera gel in each ear
-Garlic oil along with lobelia extract for infections
-Calendula/Marigold
Coughs:
Blue Vervain, Bugleweed

Chamomile
Comfrey
Licorice

Comfrey and Fenugreek:
Break up mucus
It always helps to wear a turtleneck sweater, dress warmly, and keep your feet dry and your head warm during the cold winter months. You might also want to stay clear of folks with colds, wash your hands often if you are in contact with the public, shake hands as little as possible, and take vitamins, especially Vitamin C to work along with the immune system. And there just might be some truth to that old “apple a day” adage, and to further amplify this idea, try different kinds of fruit “every day.”
Although herbs have many healing qualities, please know that if they are not taken wisely and with care, they can also be harmful to your health. It’s also important to know that some herbs cannot be taken together with prescription drugs. Therefore, consult package instructions, herbal books, your doctor, and do your homework. The really good news about most of these home remedies is that they can cure more than one ailment.
Rule of thumb, if there is an inability to treat a fever within 24 hours, then consult your doctor. Where infants and young children are concerned, you might want to consult the doctor even sooner. Persistent fevers are the best signals for more serious ailments.
Have a healthy winter season this year, try to take a daily, brisk twenty-minute walk, and keep abreast of health articles in the newspapers and periodicals. And by all means, surf the Web for information on improving your health. You just might be pleasantly surprised.

EDITORIAL
PERSPECTIVE:
The events taking place in the Middle East are certainly shaping up to resemble the end times, i.e., “The Day of the Lord,” that point in time when the All-Mighty GOD of Israel, the GOD of Host will deal with those who are rebellious against HIS Law and the Rulers of this World to bring down their evil World Systems.
“Howl ye: for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.”
“Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
”And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.” Isaiah 13:6,9,11
Afterwards the Most High GOD of Hosts will establish HIS Kingdom on this Earth for HIS Exaltation and Praise.
“And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.” Isaiah 2:17
“The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.” Isaiah 2:11
That being so, we can either sit back and watch the death and destruction transpire, or we can hope to be led by the Most High GOD of Abraham and hid from HIS Wrath during this time.
“I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.
“The noise of a multitude in the
mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of
nations gathered together: the Lord of hosts mustereth the host of the
battle.
“They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.
“Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt:”
Isaiah 13:3 – 5,7
“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.
“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.” Joel 2:31,32
“Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger.” Zephaniah 2:3
Several times throughout GOD’s Word, we read about
the “latter days” and surprisingly even in the Book of Deuteronomy. And where and how it is mentioned and
phrased, makes us realize that it was written for the Remnant of Israel living
today that seeks to follow YIHOVAH with all their heart and
soul.
“When thou art in tribulation, and all these things
are come upon thee, even in the
latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his
voice;
“(For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) he will
not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers
which he sware unto them.”
Deuteronomy 4:30,31
Other Scripture that is for these latter days,
seemingly are already upon us, is in regard to “Jacob’s Trouble” – that period
of time when there is chaos and confusion all over the globe (exactly as it is
now) – but the Seed of Jacob will be saved out of it.
“Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like
it: it is even the time of Jacob’s
trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.” Jeremiah 30:7
My question to everyone is, “If in fact, GOD is
about to bring HIS Wrath down upon the Nations, then what should be our plans to
escape this death and destruction?”
What all should we be doing, Children of Israel???
Keep in mind that the Land of Israel and some
countries in Africa are in serious Crisis.
If you notice how the territory in Israel is divided between so-called
Jews and Arabs you will understand why the True and Living GOD has planned these
events as HE did. And as we all
know, other Nations are being drawn into the escalating turmoil, hatred, and
mayhem that exist in Israel – mainly in Palestinian territory. So, what now?
We know that the Most High GOD of Abraham is going
to judge this World, and that many, many millions of people will die. We know that those Nations that took HIS
Chosen People captive will be destroyed (Jeremiah 30:11), and that many
Israelites will die in the process.
We also know that the only way to escape GOD’s Wrath is to turn to HIM in
Righteousness in order to be hid during this time. I don’t have to tell you that the time
has come for Black Hebrew Israelites to make a decision. This is one time when there can be no
refraining or straddling the fence.
The Day of the Lord is upon us, and your actions must be very well
thought out and considered with GOD’s Word in mind.
“Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye
upon him while he is near:”
Isaiah 55:6

Hear O Israel!!!
I had a little talk with Yah today
upset about the conditions surrounding us each day.
Asking why we Hebrew Israelites won't come together
and be on one accord making our lives a little better.
The closer we are, the farther we stray
breaking the commandments freely each and every day.
Picking and choosing which laws we'll obey;
Yet condemning and damning others when they go astray.
Yah assured me this will soon come to an end;
When the backsliders and sinners are destroyed in His revenge.
Yah will pluck up, root out and cast those away,
Who defied His laws and led many astray.
"Vengeance is mine", to Yah whom it belongs;
All sinners have a day and time and it won't be too long.
Be content and careless, thinking everything is fine
because your reward will occur quickly in its due time.
Yah warned you and warned you to obey his Commandments.
Still you chose to have knowledge without any understanding.
So, it's time to pay the piper as some might say.
There's nowhere to run and no amount of money you can pay.
Yah's reward is just and swift as can be,
no one is more merciful or gracious than the Almighty.
Still we said things about each other behind their backs;
Don't you know Hebrew Israelites aren't supposed to behave like that.
Gossiping and talking down on one another
dividing Yah's people farther and farther.
We all have a right to voice our opinions and be heard,
so, don't get upset, they're only mere words.
It's time out for big I's and little you's.
When we become as one, there's no end to what we can do.
So, please take inventory and examine your life
to see whether disobeying Yah's Laws are worth the sacrifice.
