The Lord's Prayer and God's Law

THE LAW KEEPERS
The Lord's Prayer And GOD's Law
By Tziona Yisrael
The so-called “Lord’s Prayer” is another issue that merits mentioning. The Lord GOD prays? To whom? Never mind… Is this “New Testament” prayer sufficient for all that we lack and require being Israelites? Does this prayer encourage Israel to return to GOD’s Law? Does this prayer deal with the oppression we experience? Does this prayer address saving Israel from our enemies? Does this prayer deal with our GOD specifically forgiving Israel for our sins? Hmmm.
If I were the Gentile rulers, I would design such a prayer as this also for my subjects, and I would teach it to them and to their children in order for every last one of them to not suggest one of their own. I would not want them to have their prayers come from their hearts, i.e., one that would be against my being the head and their being the tail. I would have my slaves recite prayers that would encourage them to bless me and teach them to love their enemies and to be forgiving of those who harm them “for they know not what they do.” I would teach them a darn good prayer, one mixed with truth to make it believable and one that would keep them oblivious to returning to the True and Living GOD. And I would do everything in my power to perpetuate my being the head and sustain their being the tail for as long as I could. Yes, I’d teach them a prayer and have them recite it every night before they went to bed and every morning when they awoke. And sometimes, I’d even listen at their windows to make sure they would not add or take from the prayer that I’d create for them. And the reason is that the day that they would become wise to my rationale to keep them my slaves, turn to their GOD to follow HIM, and ask for forgiveness for their sins against HIM, is the day that I’d lose my position to control them and this World. Yep, I’d make them oblivious to how to return to their GOD. I would create for them the best darn insignificant prayer ever and give it a real catchy title. I would create for them a “Lord’s Prayer.”
"For many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of them also: and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands.
"To wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, a hissing, and a curse; as it is this day;" Jeremiah 25:14,18
How many people have ever analyzed this so-called “Lord’s Prayer?” It’s truly bland, without substance, and does not address the reasons for Israel’s captivity, doesn’t encourage the keeping of GOD’s Law, and doesn’t acknowledge the Most High GOD of Israel, per se. And since it doesn’t, this “Christian” prayer is totally worthless. Up against Moses’ prayer for GOD to spare the Nation of Israel, or Kings David and Solomon’s or Nehemiah’s prayers or even the Psalms, this “Lord’s Prayer” fails miserably. But coming from Gentiles who love power, control, status, and have a greedy desire to divide and conquer great spoil, doesn’t it make sense that their religious book (the “NT”) would present such a prayer in order to deceive GOD’s Chosen People?
Isn’t it ironic that the rulers of this World will share with us their White god, JC, to believe in and worship as the “Saviour of the World” but won’t share with us their supremacy, power, control, authority, prestige, and economic wealth? But they gave us as early as the days of slavery this Christianity and demanded that the slaves observe their false religion – especially during the days of slavery in order to make these pitiful people more humble and more docile to the White Masters. And unto this day, Christian Missionaries go throughout the World sustaining and spreading Christianity before they will feed the hungry, shelter the destitute, and educate the illiterate. Amazing isn’t it and something else to think about.
Many people, including Israelites, will pray to the Holy ONE of Israel and end their prayers with “…in JC’s name.” Where did this come from? Israelites cannot add this Christian doctrine to GOD’s Law. This closing is what I hear coming from Christians and certainly isn’t anything our forefathers demonstrated at the end of their prayers – Moses or King David certainly didn’t. We never prayed ”in the name of Moses” or “in the name of King David,” and they certainly did something to deserve recognition (more than JC ever did – that’s for sure!!!). But somehow Israelites back then knew better than to follow this practice. They knew about the Holy ONE of Israel, but just were too rebellious to follow HIM.
In any case this practice absolutely baffles and angers me especially if I am standing in this prayer when someone ends it with “in the name of JC,” and I am giving total recognition, Glory, and Praise to the Holy ONE of Israel, the only Lord and Savior, the GOD of Israel. Speaking “in JC’s name” is not following the “Old Paths” as our GOD has asked us to do (Jeremiah 6:16).
I hope with all my heart that the Scripture accompanying this particular topic will enlighten my Israelite Brothers and Sisters (and even all Nations who seek to Praise the Holy ONE of Israel) to the fact that everything we do and say in spirituality is for the Praise and Glory of the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We can never forget that we were formed to show forth the Praise of the Most High GOD of Hosts and none else because HE is a Jealous GOD and demands that we exalt only HIM. The unfortunate incident at the “Waters of Meribah” with the Prophet Moses made this quite clear. And it behooves us never to forget why Moses could not enter into the Land of Canaan. For everything and for every reason, we must learn to Sanctify the Most High GOD of Israel and HIS Holy Name.
“This people have I formed for myself; they shall show forth my praise.” Isaiah 43:21
“For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.” I Kings 8:53
It was our GOD that chose Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. It was our GOD that made a covenant with HIS People. It was our GOD that saved Israel out of Egypt so HE could be known by other Nations as the True and Living GOD.
“Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the Lord which hallow you,” Leviticus 22:32
It was our GOD that gave HIS Chosen People HIS Righteous Laws, Statutes, and Judgments to live and do in order to Praise GOD and show the World that HE alone is the True Savior and the True and Living GOD. Therefore, HE alone is to be praised!
“And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.” Isaiah 12:4
“I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.” Psalm 71:16
When people say “in JC’s name,” they are calling attention to a “man” and exalting him. And the Most High GOD of Hosts has a problem with this. HE’s a Jealous GOD, remember. When people glorify and believe in JC, our GOD has a problem with this also. It’s this very absurd jargon and practice that has peoples all over the World believing that JC is GOD and causing them to disregard the True and Living GOD in favor of a “man.”
“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.” Psalm 146:3
“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19
“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:6
Also, you must consider the fact that by including “in the name of JC” at the end of your prayers, you are encouraging those who hear your prayer to look to this “man,” JC as being a significant factor in the redemption of Israel. Only the Most High GOD of Israel is the determining factor for our redemption and deliverance from captivity and oppression. JC and no one else has the ability to “save” Israel out of all our troubles.
“But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.” Nehemiah 1:9
“Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.” Malachi 3:18
“Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the Lord; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.” Jeremiah 30:10
“And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong.” Zechariah 8:13
Because JC is deemed by many to be a “god,” it is a sin to even mention his name, much less believe and trust in him and speak in his name
.
“And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.” Exodus 23:13
For the purpose of enlightening My People to GOD’s Truth, I use initials to clarify this message.
If our wisdom and understanding comes from the keeping of God’s Law, then we have no business using other dogma proclaimed by false religions for our spirituality as we seek to follow and to serve our GOD. We must live and declare the works of the Lord our GOD.
“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Psalm 118:17
GOD’s Works are in HIS Law, and therein is our direction, wisdom, and understanding.
“O how love I thy law! It is my meditation all the day.
“Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.
“I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation
.
“I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.” Psalm 119:97-100
Bottom line, let your prayers come from your heart, as this is what the Most High GOD of Israel sees.
“But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him; for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” I Samuels 16:7
“And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.” I Chronicles 28:9
“Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.” Psalm 7:9
FOR GOD’S HOLY NAME’S SAKE!
