THE SAME JUDGMENT GIVEN TO THE PROPHET HANANIAH |
THE LAW KEEPERS
"And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul," Deuteronomy 10:12 The mercies of our GOD are endless for those of us who seek HIM in sincerity to do HIS Will. Let us search HIS Word and the Scriptures for HIS Truth and direction. Within the Scriptures of the "Old Testament" there are many, many situations that provide us with profound evidence for our knowledge and guidance, today. Therefore, let's take advantage of this written documentation . One perfect example of this guidance regarding the use of GOD's Righteous Judgment for one who sinned against HIM comes from the Book of Jeremiah and concerns the Prophet Hananiah. Now, if we do not accept the following two identical scenarios presented, then we do not really want to take advantage of Biblical evidence to do what's right by learning from what's written. And I caution everyone at this point to be honest and truthful as we read about Hananiah's great sin against the Holy ONE of Israel. The Most High GOD of Hosts had revealed to HIS Prophet Jeremiah that Judah would go into captivity in Babylon for seventy years (Jeremiah 25:11,12). But the Prophet Hananiah took it upon himself to prophesy otherwise: "Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. "Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of the Lord's house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon:" Jeremiah 28:2,3 Jeremiah in his wisdom replied: "Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the Lord perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the Lord's house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place." Jeremiah 28:6 Afterwards, the Holy ONE revealed to Jeremiah that the Prophet Hananiah had lied (Jeremiah 28:12-15) and issued "death" as punishment for this great sin: "Therefore thus saith the Lord: Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the Lord." Jeremiah 28:16 Without a doubt, the Prophet Hananiah was zealous to have Judah return to Israel from Babylon, but his zeal went too far when he lied in the Name of the GOD of Israel. My sincere hope is that all people who seek to worship and serve the GOD of Israel in truth will see and understand from this Chapter of Jeremiah that JC committed the very same sin against the Holy ONE that Hananiah did. This so-called "Saviour," JC, attempted to spare the "Lost Sheep of the House of Israel" when he sent his disciples to save those that GOD had cursed into captivity into exile. "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." Matthew 1:21 "But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." Matthew 10:6 "But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." Matthew 15:24 Obviously, JC was out of touch with Biblical prophecy, reality, and the Word of GOD. And his lack of knowledge only proves that he had no communication at all with the Most High GOD. The GOD of Israel certainly did not send him to save the Children of Israel, or he would have been successful. Therefore, we must assume that JC was acting on a whim, or he was part of a major conspiracy by more religious zealots of the Roman Era to start a "NEW" religion. For him to completely ignore Deuteronomy 28th Chapter was absolutely absurd and without merit and knowledge of GOD's Commandment and other Scripture that confirmed the Nation of Israel would go into bondage and lose their identity. Those who established the "New Testament" and JC as "The Saviour" did not do their homework. And, the Holy ONE of Israel was not at all pleased (Matthew 3:17) with the way the situation with HIS People had developed. Just to recap: because of GOD's curse upon Israel, JC never should have attempted to "save" the Nation of Israel, as did the Prophet Hananiah attempt to save Judah from Babylonian captivity. And in addition to that, JC proves that he does not sit at the "right hand of GOD." Otherwise, he would have known better than to defy GOD's order for Israel to be cursed into oblivion. This instance is a fact that Christians and believers in JC and the "NT" cannot get around or ignore. JC, according to the legend that is written, lied about the kingdom of heaven being "at hand," and he, JC, lied about being the "Savior." "The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up." Amos 5:2 It appears that JC failed at his efforts before he even got started. Let me not forget to mention that he did not carry out GOD's Righteous Judgments when there were those who broke GOD's Law. JC lied about coming to fulfill GOD's Law, and again, in this instance, he should have demonstrated more wisdom and knowledge of GOD's Ordinances. "Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins." Isaiah 58:1 "For if ye thoroughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye thoroughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbor; "If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: "Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever." Jeremiah 7:5 - 7 "For I the Lord love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them." Isaiah 61:8 Case and point: an adulteress should be stoned to death, but JC spares her (John 8th Chapter). JC also plucks corn (Matthew 12:1) and heals on GOD's Sabbath (Luke 6th Chapter). Had those who were hungry on GOD's Sabbath prepared their meals the day before, like they should have, then there would not have been any need to sin on GOD's Holy Sabbath. We can all recall what happened to the man who picked up sticks on GOD's Sabbath, can't we? Also, if the sick had been chronically ill for years, JC could have waited until sundown to heal them from their diseases rather than go against GOD's Law to rest on the Sabbath day and keep it holy. Let's face reality and be truthful to ourselves and to the Most High GOD of Israel, first. Don't let JC, a man with a fabricated background, or rather a man who never existed, bring down GOD's Chosen People. Another situation that most of us fail to understand is that JC "worshipped" in a temple not decreed by the GOD of Israel. Since when is a temple that an Edomite, Herod, built a "Temple of GOD" (Matthew 21:12). Perhaps some would question the temple of Ezra and Nehemiah, and maybe they would be right. But at least Ezra and Nehemiah are not Edomites. GOD hates Edom (Esau), (Malachi 1:3) and wouldn't hardly appreciate HIS Temple being built by him. If the Holy ONE wouldn't permit King David to build HIS Temple, what on earth makes one assume that he'd want a descendant of Edom to do so. Now, that's something else to think about! |
