The Salvation of YHWH

Achotee Tziona each month asks me to prepare a Presidents Message for the Journal and often I find it hard to always come up with something that would aid in uplifting a people still in captivity for the most part among the gentiles without a lot of prayer. I only wish I had the writing ability my dear sister Tziona has. She is surely a Godsend.

In this message I wanted to share with you an observation I made in my studies concerning our salvation from the book of Isaiah. Many know this but perhaps there are some reading this months Journal that do not know these things.

Isaiah or Yesha'yahu in hebrew means "The Salvation of YHWH". He Prophesied around 760 B.C.E., aproximately 200 years before the fall of the southern Kingdom of Yehudah which fell in 537 B.C.E.

But before I share with you some passages in Isaiah, Let us look at what Moses said to the people just prior to YHWH delivering them out of Egypt in Exodus 14 and verse 13.

It reads: "And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever."

And later in Exodus 15:2, all of Yisrael sang: "The LORD [is] my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he [is] my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him."

So here we can see clearly that YHWH became the salvation of Yisrael out of Egypt.

The book of Psalm is replete with this fact that YHWH is our salvation.

Psa 3:8 Salvation [belongeth] unto the LORD: thy blessing [is] upon thy people. Selah

Psa 27:1 [[[A Psalm] of David.]] The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Psa 40:10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.

Psa 98:2 The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.

The last two passages of the Psalm sited is revealing, as we look into Isaiah. The Psalmist said, "I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation." And, "the LORD hath made known his salvation."

We know that the nation of Yisrael was to be a SERVANT to the Most High. It was the nation of Yisrael that "declared thy salvation" i.e YHWH's Salvation. We know also that YHWH made a name for himself so that all the nations round about heard of His salvation and were afraid. (See also Exodus 15:14 and Joshua 2:9,10.

Two points I want to make at this juncture.
1. YHWH became the salvation of his people.
2. His people, His Servant, declared his salvation in the earth.

Now, lets look at Isaiah. Remember, Isaiah or Yesha'yahu in hebrew means "The Salvation of YHWH." Now before you conclude that I am going to say that Isaiah was the salvation of YHWH, which I am not, bear with me. We know that the entire book of Isaiah was about the SERVANT. And that SERVANT was none other than THE NATION OF YISRAEL.

In speaking about that servant in Isa 12:2 Isaiah wrote :

"And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

The "Thou" is the SERVANT.

Behold, God [is] my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD YHWH [is] my strength and [my] song; he also is become my salvation.

Isa 12:3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

How does one draw water out of the wells of salvation? Where are the wells of salvation?

Did not YHWH by the mouth of Jeremiah say, "For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, [and] hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

Hast thou not procured this unto thyself, in that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, when he led thee by the way?

For of old time I have broken thy yoke, [and] burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot. Jeremiah 2:13,17,0

Our forefathers forsook the Holy One of Yisrael even though he proved to them time and time again that He was their strength and salvation. I'm sure you can understand now that the "wells of salvation" were not literal wells but the Laws, stautues and commandments given to the nation of Yisrael to do.

Back to Isaiah.

Again referring to the SERVANT:

Isa 12:4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

Isa 12:5 Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this [is] known in all the earth.

Is that exactly what the nation of Yisrael is doing even today? Teaching and proclaiming not only to a sleeping nation of Yisrael but to all peoples of the earth that it is only YHWH that is to be exalted? That He alone is to be Praised? That it is HIS NAME that shall be called upon? That the blessings and the curses that befell us and all is his doings in the earth is His doings? Who other than the SERVANT can do so?

Isa 49:1 Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.

Isa 49:2 And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;

Isa 49:3 And said unto me, Thou [art] my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

These 3 verses should speak a thousand words to us. YHWH says it is Yisrael in whom He will be glorified.

There is no question here that this is talking about the nation of Yisrael. The sword of the truth about our most powerful God striking down all false gods and it is the nation of Yisrael that HE is using for this purpose! Why? Because we glorify only HIM!

Which brings me to my last point.

Isa 49:4 Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: [yet] surely my judgment [is] with the LORD, and my work with my God.

Isa 49:5 And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb [to be] his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.

Isa 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Here YHWH is saying that from the womb, the nation of Yisrael was to be a SERVANT only of the Holy One of Yisirael. That it is the SERVANT that will raise up the tribes of Jacob. That the SERVANT WILL BE HIS SALVATION UNTO THE END OF THE EARTH! I ask you, who is it that is helping to cause the awakening of Yisrael, the so call Black man? Is is not other awaken Yisraelites? Does Yisrael take credit for this? No! It is only the Holy One of Yisrael who is due all praise and glory. He makes it happen. Who is telling the whole world about the One True and Living Elohim? It is not the nation of Yisrael?!!

And how are we doing this? By Exalting His Laws. By telling of His dealings with our forefathers as He in his boundless mercy and loving kindness sent prophets to get them to turn from their evil ways. By letting the Whole World know that YHWH is the Most High over all the earth! Psalm 83:18

Psa 40:10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.

The laws, statutes, precepts and commandments given to the nation of Yisrael is our righteousness and doing it and becoming the people the Holy One would have us to be is our salvation. As a Holy people, we are to bring the light of HIS LAW to the gentiles.

You see people, The Holy One is waiting on us. He chose us to declare his doings in all the earth. We are His people. His Name is upon us. We profaned His Holy Name by calling upon false gods and living unrighteously in the sight of those that knew we were the people of the Almighty. That is why we lost our land and were scattered among the gentiles.

Eze 36:22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not [this] for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.

Eze 36:23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I [am] the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

Eze 36:24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

Eze 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do [them].

Eze 36:28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Isa 49:7 Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, [and] his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, [and] the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.

The above verse needs no explanation, we know who in the earth today is despised and abhorred and are servants and not rulers. Not only is Yehudah awakening but all 12 tribes of Yisrael is being awaken. This is Isaiah 52 and 53.

Isa 49:8 Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

Isa 49:9 That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that [are] in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures [shall be] in all high places.

Conclusion:
The nation of Yisrael was to be a Servant of the Most High and formed to show forth His praise. We were to be a light unto the gentiles and show forth the wisdom of his righteous laws given to us by the mouth of Moses. We were chastised and taken into captivity to become the example of a people destroyed as a nation, who forsook the True and Living Elohim. The Most High says he will use his chosen people to sanctify His Holy Name so that all nations will know him as the Only Soverign Elohim of all the earth. We are the instrument that He will use to bring about HIS SALVATION. But we must return to the land!

For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp [that] burneth.

Isa 62:2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

Isa 62:3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

Isa 62:4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

Isa 62:5 For [as] a young man marrieth a virgin, [so] shall thy sons marry thee: and [as] the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, [so] shall thy God rejoice over thee.

Isa 62:6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, [which] shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,

Isa 62:7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Isa 62:8 The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn [to be] meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:

Isa 62:9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

Isa 62:10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

Isa 62:11 Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward [is] with him, and his work before him.

Isa 62:12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

EDITORIAL PERSPECTIVE:

IS IT OR IS IT NOT TIME…

“Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.”

Jeremiah 30:7

“Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.”

Hosea 10:12

“But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.

“Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favor her, yea,

the set time, is come.”

Psalm 102:12,13

Ever so quickly, the Gregorian Calendar year is transforming into 002. For those of you who aren’t aware, that number is a palindrome – same way forward, same way backward. I never paid much attention to palindromes until my daughter was in elementary school and came home chiming about the time being a palindrome (her lesson in math for that day): “The time is now a palindrome. It’s 4:04 - same way forward, same way backward. The time is now a palindrome,” she’d chime. We had to listen to this for months every time any one of the digital clocks displayed a palindrome. Needless to say it was quite often during the hour and during the day and night ad nauseam (4:14; 4:24; 4:34; etc., etc.)! So, because of my only daughter, over the years, I have taken a notice of and a liking to palindromes and used them for encouragement and optimism being the pessimist that I am. If my fondness of palindromes is of any significance, then the year 002 will be a good one for us. LORD knows, I hope so.

Nevertheless, maybe whether the year is a palindrome or not, we could make a positive change for ourselves. We do have the ability to create good and evil, you know. Perhaps I should explain. When we lived in our own land and pleased Our GOD by living and doing HIS Law, we prospered abundantly and were in want of nothing. ALL PRAISES DUE TO THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL, under those circumstances, we created “the good life.” On the other hand, because of our forsaking Our GOD and HIS Law, we created “evil” for ourselves even after the Holy ONE told us of our fate if we would not hearken unto HIS Voice. Who would have thought that “WE” would set the stage and execute our own captivity, demise, and oblivion?! So, you see, we do indeed have the ability to create good and evil – for as you can see, we most certainly did!

This brings us to GOD’s Promises if only we will take advantage of the opportunity afforded us to once again use our ability to create “GOOD.” But will we?

“And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,

“And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul:

“That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.” Deuteronomy 30:1 – 3

“If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;

“And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:

“Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.”

AW, YES!!! It appears (according to Deuteronomy 30^th Chapter) that Our GOD is waiting on us to create “good,” you might say, i.e., turn to HIS Law. Therefore, now, we must face another rationale. Of course we will find Our GOD if we seek HIM with our whole heart, but right now this is not my focus.

Did you notice the “lead you” specification in Deuteronomy 4:27? Just in case you paid it no mind, permit me to shed light on this verse. It’s important for us to realize that because we were so disobedient we created “evil” for ourselves. Consequently, Our GOD determined to “lead” us among the nations to serve our enemies. I hope you take the time to try to understand me because this is very important! Just bear with me for a moment and consider Scripture and my intent in this Message.

Quite often there is much conversation about our returning to our heritage. And indeed just last night, while chatting with a Brother I asked him, why, if he is an Israelite, isn’t he returning home. His reply was that he was born in America. I’ve heard probably three or four other reasons, but this one really startled me. You see, his response implied commitment to this land. And my greatest fear was dying and being buried in the United States!!! However, since the most popular response is probably, “I’m going to wait on GOD,” then this is the one I’ll address.

What exactly does it mean for us to “wait on GOD?” I do not understand that answer. How exactly did we “wait on GOD” before HE sent us into captivity? We didn’t! Ready or not, YIHOVAH LED US right into the hands of our enemies! Therefore, since YIHOVAH did in fact “lead” us (Deuteronomy 4:27) into captivity, isn’t it just as possible for HIM to “lead” us home? That’s my point! I pray that some of us are not waiting for YIHOVAH to come down here and take us by the hand and lead us back home. HE didn’t do this when the Children of Israel were down in Egypt, and HE won’t do so now. And keep in mind, because we will be returned from the four corners of the Earth and because only a Remnant will be saved, this DELIVERANCE will be altogether different from the one led by the Prophet Moses. I beg of you to use understanding for in that only a “Remnant” will return (Isaiah 10:0 – 22), GOD would imply that an Exodus home is not for everyone but only for those who have it in their hearts to return. But doesn’t that actually go without saying?

Now, since it has been proven that we can create good and evil, then let’s be about creating goodness for our children (LORD knows, they need Righteous role models), for ourselves, and above all for the Holy ONE of Israel for whom we were “formed” to show forth Praise. Let’s fulfill prophecy. Would Our GOD open our eyes and permit us to learn HIS Truth and not keep HIS Promises? We have a Merciful GOD, and no, HE would not do this!

“For thus saith the LORD; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.”

Jeremiah 32:42

Is it or is it not time…

“In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.” Jeremiah 50:4

“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.” Joel 2:32

And finally, OBEDIENCE TO GOD’s Book of the Law is mandatory for us to create “GOODNESS” once we are “led” home. That is the ONLY way that we will see “Eye to Eye” and Serve and Worship Our GOD “ONE Way.” We must eliminate our own ideals and imaginations as to what we “THINK” is right and call for GOD’s Book of the Law just as Ezra and Nehemiah did (Nehemiah 8:1-3), and then live by it to the best of our ability.

“Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

“And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.” Jeremiah 3:14,15

At this very moment as I end this editorial, BELIEVE IT OR NOT: “The time is now a palindrome. It’s 7:57 - same way forward, same way backward. The time is now a palindrome.”

Never let it be said that Our GOD of Israel does not have a sense of humor! :) BLESSED BE HIS HOLY NAME!

May the Holy ONE of Israel lead and guide all of us who seek to return to HIM, HIS Law, and to our heritage for HIS Holy Name’s Sake.

P.S. Other than saying your daily prayers, have you talked with the Holy ONE today? Have you been attentive to any Messages HE might be sending your way? Did you ask the Holy ONE to put HIS Law and HIS Spirit in ALL OUR HEARTS? Have you asked Our GOD to lead us in HIS Ways, so that we walk and speak as “ONE” for HIS Righteous Exaltation? Have you prayed for the DELIVERANCE of the Nation of Israel out of bondage? Have you told the Holy ONE of Israel that right now, we need HIM so desperately and for many reasons? A Message To All Messianics:

"And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?

"Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;

DID GOD LIE? No, HE didn't, and keep in mind that GOD DOES NOT CHANGE (Malachi 3:6), IF HE SAID WE MUST KEEP HIS LAW, THEN WE MUST KEEP HIS LAW, and if HE said "for ever" then we must keep this Righteous Law "for ever" Deuteronomy 29:29)! The church and the “New Testament” are very much involved with a "strange god" (Psalm 81:9) that has nothing to do with the (JEALOUS) Most High, True and Living GOD of Abraham (Exodus 3:15) and HIS Book of the Law.

When the Most High GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, (the ONLY True GOD - Exodus 3:15 - but not proclaimed and EXALTED in the Church) goes out of HIS Way to show you HIS Truth, at least take the time to consider it.

Cleave to the Most High GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and wait on HIM, as this is what we, Israelites, are Commanded to do! And realize that the “Messianic” concept is the work of the Grecian/Roman Eras and not of GOD’s Covenant, HIS Book of the Law, which is a product of the Wilderness of Sinai.

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
