Ecstatic Jews, a messiah proclaimed, and the consequential divisions

Like
many other young men in
But you
should see his ride. When he's not ensconced in
The
Caddy, which they bought a few years ago, is bright yellow and covered
with
enormous decals featuring a "King Messiah" crown and a picture of the
messiah
himself: Rebbe Menachem M. Schneerson. A dollar bill is attached to the
upper
right corner of the windshield—a symbol of the rebbe's practice of
handing out
dollar bills to his visitors to give to charity.
Among
Lubavitchers, the rebbe is more than revered. Officially, he died 14
years ago.
But to many Lubavitchers, dead he's not, and the messiah—not just for
Jews, but
the entire planet—he most certainly is.
When
they aren't studying, the yeshiva boys doggedly tool around the city and
install
yellow flags in homes and businesses. The flags look a lot like the
images on
the car: a crown and the words "Long Live the King Messiah Forever and
Ever."

hard-pressed to find anyone in
Kanevsky's is a world of constant miracles.
Pictures
of the rebbe plaster the walls of her third-floor apartment. Every
night, she
and her friends put on a trance CD of traditional Yiddish hymns set to
techno
music, and they dance for hours. They take belly-dancing classes that
can start
at midnight. Her cell-phone ringtone plays the Hebrew messianic slogan
Yechi
ha Melech, which roughly translates as "Long Live the King Messiah
Forever
and Ever." She answers the phone with these same
words.
Not all
Lubavitchers have gotten the message. Even as Chabad has grown into a
billion-dollar empire in the wake of the rebbe's death, the battle lines
between
those who accept Schneerson's demise and those who don't have
hardened.
Rabbi
Zalman Shmotkin, a spokesman for Chabad, describes the behavior of
people like
Kanevsky as "more painful than words"—an abuse of the rebbe's message.
For some
Jews within and outside Chabad, messianism, with its prophecy of a sort
of
second coming, smacks too much of Christianity. Others say it violates
the
monotheistic religion's prohibitions against idolatry. And some think it
cultish
or just too simplistic—a caricature of Jewish
teachings.
"At the
end of the day, running around saying, 'My guy is the messiah' over and
over—it's an echo chamber," says Shmotkin, a 39-year-old rabbi. "And
what the
rebbe was creating was the opposite of an echo
chamber."
Meanwhile, the conflict continues to
reverberate. In
In a
way, Kanevsky herself is a cornerstone of the controversy. A court
battle
between the two camps is connected to Kanevsky's arrest for doggedly
hanging
onto the cornerstone of
Meanwhile, the fight continues to play out
right
inside the building. Chabad, the empire, has its headquarters on the
third
floor, and it's at war with many of the people who pray and study in the
synagogue below.
Last
December, as a part of the same court battle, a New York State Supreme
Court
judge ruled that the owners of the building had the right to remove a
banner
that the messianists had placed over the Torah ark in the downstairs
synagogue.
The banner, proclaiming the rebbe "King Messiah Forever and Ever," had
been put
up by four messianist trustees who were elected to run the synagogue.
Naturally
enough, they're appealing the judge's ruling.
There
are two things that most Lubavitchers agree on:
Portraits of the rebbe and his wife are
fixtures in
just about every home. Schneerson was a powerful figure who received
heads of
state and advised multimillionaire financiers, and his followers cherish
their
memories of him, even at a house next to his (ostensible)
Now
about that grave: Unlike the thousands of other Lubavitchers, Sara
Kanevsky has
never paid a visit. She doesn't know who or what is in the grave, but
she's
certain it's not the rebbe. On the anniversary of his death this past
July,
while more than 50,000 people waited on a four-hour line outside the
cemetery,
midnight buses rolled in from Canada, and Israelis camped out for the
weekend in
the Chabad house next-door, Kanevsky went to 770 to
celebrate.
Kanevsky
does a lot of celebrating when others are mourning. She says that in the
time of
redemption, all rules are reversed. Two years ago, she walked around
eating ice
cream in 770 on a fast day, which led to her being kicked out. And on
the most
recent fast day this summer, she talked with some Chabad members in
She
acknowledges that to some people in

lubavitchers who believe that Schneerson is the messiah became more
vocal about
it after the rebbe suffered a debilitating stroke in
1992.
In the
preceding year, Schneerson himself had begun to tell his followers that
the
redemption was imminent. He urged them to do everything in their power
to bring
it about.
Though
he never referred to himself directly as the messiah (the rebbe rarely
spoke
about himself), some people began to see it that way. At religious
gatherings,
hundreds of people shouted the Yechi chant. It's unclear what the
rebbe
thought of these outcries. Messianists say he shook his fist in support;
confidantes claim that he was pained by the sight of it; and still
others aren't
sure whether, after the stroke, the rebbe was able to understand the
implications of what was happening before his
eyes.
No one
really knows how many Lubavitchers believe that Schneerson is the
messiah. It's
been a mostly futile effort trying to quantify them, though some have
tried
methods like counting yellow flags. This is partly due to the gradations
of
belief among the messianists: While many believe that the rebbe's death
was an
illusion, there are some who accept it but are convinced that he will
one day be
resurrected; others who believe deeply that he is the messiah but don't
publicize it, preferring to keep the whole thing a matter of the heart;
and
still others who aren't 100 percent sure either way but are afraid to
really
talk about it, since it has become such a contentious matter. And then
there are
those, like Kanevsky and Balulu, who proclaim their faith to everyone
they
meet.
A
youthful, 40-year-old mother of seven, Kanevsky and her friends live
their lives
in a state of near-ecstasy. And while fervor and joyousness are central
to all
forms of Hasidic Judaism, the messianists' exuberance is
unusual.
The
crown lies easy upon their heads. In fact, as Kanevsky stands before a
cluster
of five women sitting on benches in 770, she's wearing not only a
form-fitting
black skirt and a long-haired wig, but also a necklace with a golden
crown
attached to it—the symbol of the King Messiah. The jewel-studded crown
is larger
than her palm. She has two cell phones pressed to her ears. Another cell
phone
and an iPod rest on the bench in front of her. The devices are recording
her
daily three-hour radio address and workshop, the topic of which is the
redemption. The address is being broadcast live over the Internet. A
blown-up
portrait of the rebbe has been placed on a bench behind
them.
The
women pass around grapefruits, figs, and homemade baked tilapia in a
large
aluminum catering tray. "We call this the fish of the redemption," says
regular
attendee Devorah Leah Blau as she fills her plate (a friend is rocking
Blau's
baby).
Kanevsky
is largely self-taught, but when she has a question of any significance,
she
says she consults the rebbe. Like Balulu and others, she does this by
either
placing a note or asking a question aloud in front of a stack of books
containing his collected letters. Then she turns to a page at random and
finds
that the rebbe has left an answer there. Last week, for example, she
wondered in
a dream whether her friend Ruth would become a millionaire. When she
opened the
book, she says, the date of her friend's birthday was on the page—a
sign that
the rebbe was listening.
After
Kanevsky's class ends, she stashes the rebbe's photo behind a bookcase
in the
women's section. "Did I tell you about the time I got arrested?" she
asks. Then
she bolts out the door and onto the promenade, which is elevated about
10 feet
above the sidewalk. She looks over a stairwell and points down below, to
a
cornerstone in the façade of the building. In 2002, the Chabad
leadership placed
a plaque engraved with the words "of blessed memory" beside the
cornerstone in
honor of Schneerson. The messianists, resenting the implication that
Schneerson
was no longer alive, vandalized the plaque and put their own in its
place.
Multiple riots erupted in front of 770, and the police put up barriers
and
surrounded the plaque.
During
one pf the uprisings, Kanevsky saw the commotion and decided to leap
from the
promenade. But wearing high heels, she fell, and people thought she had
broken
her ankle. Then she got up and ran to the cornerstone. Her friend Ruth
jumped in
after her. The women held onto the stone until the police pulled them
away.
Zalman
Shmotkin acknowledges that Jewish law allows for a great wise figure in
every
generation, but he's not convinced that Schneerson should be considered
the king
messiah of them all. Shmotkin, who has an office on the third floor of
770, says
he never prays in the building's synagogue. One of his deepest fears is
that
people will see messianism as the face of Chabad, and that this will
alienate
them from the rebbe's teachings. "It's so not what we're about,"
he
says.
"It
violates common sense and makes the movement seem insane," says David
Berger, a
historian and the author of The Rebbe, the Messiah, and the Scandal
of
Orthodox Indifference. "They think it turns people off to Hasidic
teaching,
and it's a sincere concern."
Berger,
himself an observant Jew, says that while researching the book, he
watched
videos that were filmed at 770 after the rebbe's death. In one, people
cleared a
path across the synagogue to allow the invisible rebbe to walk to his
chair.
"When people tell me that the kind of scene I just described is crazy,"
he says,
"I react by saying that there are millions of people in the world who
are
perfectly normal and intelligent people, who believe that the priest is
holding
a piece of bread and that this bread is the real presence of Jesus of
Nazareth."
With the
Lubavitchers as with Christians, messianic beliefs are nuanced, Berger
says. He
thinks that most Luba- vitchers, either secretly or openly, do believe
that the
rebbe is the messiah, but that only a small fraction believe he is still
alive.
That
contention has made Berger the target of severe attacks in the Lubavitch
world.
And though he staunchly opposes the movement, he says that there are
strong
theological underpinnings both to the messianism and even to the
"seemingly
crazy assertion" that the rebbe really didn't die.
"Judaism
says that in every generation, there is a righteous person that connects
the
world to the divine energy," he explains. "If there is no leader, the
world
would actually cease to exist. So the fact that the rebbe has died and
that the
world continues to exist is a conundrum to them, and it leads them to
believe
that the rebbe must not have died. But even people who believe he did
die find
this to be a challenging question." They resolve it, he adds, by opining
that
we're living in strange times, or that the rebbe is still providing the
divine
connection from his grave.
Kanevsky
finishes her class in the late afternoon. By that time,
The
store appears to be out of stock. The clerk—who doesn't wear a yellow
pin—says
to Kanevsky, in Hebrew: "With your luck, Yechi ha Melech, you'll
find the
meat." She reaches into a pile and finds the last package for sale. Yet
another
miracle.
Kanevsky
continues walking, buying flowers from an Israeli child. She stops in a
Caribbean-owned dry cleaners to pick up a jacket and laments that she is
out of
the moshiach business cards that she normally carries around.
Then she
remembers that she gave them all out on the subway earlier in the day.
As she
passes a group of men, one of them calls out:
"Moshiach!"
Kanevsky looks over her
shoulder.
"See? They believe it, too, but don't show it," she says, almost
surprised that
someone would keep the greatest thing in the world a secret. Then she
smiles.
"They know what I represent."
So now you
know; its time for the world to wake up to these people and their
sham.

Realizing that even some Israelites use the
dark
phase of the moon to call the new month, I would like to add one
obvious fact.
By
definition, there can only be a “New Moon,” per se, after the
dark phase
interval and when the
If the dark phase of the moon begins the
First Day of
the month, then when the
It’s the absence of seeing the moon for
forty-eight
or more hours that enables us to identify the approaching Crescent
“Sign” in the
Heavens (mentioned in Genesis 1:14) that recognizes the moon as being
“New.”
And upon
“Sighting” this “New” Crescent” we distinguish it as being the
“New Moon” and
the time of the New Month, as well.
PLEASE NOTE:
The
Hebrew New Year is also determined by the “LIGHTS” in the
Heavens and not
by the “sighting of barley,” as some Black Hebrew Israelites and
European “Jews”
advocate.

The first “Sign” in the Heavens to
provide the start
of days, years and “seasons” can only begin with the “Sighting”
of the New Moon
Crescent - that which we can “see” in order for it to serve as a
“Sign” and
enable us to begin counting our days and months. Just imagine not being
able to
“see” the moon at all.
How then
could it be appointed for a “Sign” or for
“seasons”?
“The natural thought might be that the
moon is like a
living being. It is born,
grows,
reaches maximum size, then fades and dies, going through all these
stages in one
month. Even today, we
still talk of
the thin crescent in the western sky as a new moon and the
thin
crescent in the eastern sky a month later as the old moon. Half way between is the
full
moon. As I explained
earlier,
this cycle of phases of the moon established the month as a unit of
time, and
the first calendars were based on this.” ISAAC ASIMOV’S

In that the King of Israel is supposed to
be a
“Righteous Judge” (II Chronicles 1:11), it stands to reason
that he is
also supposed to be a “Righteous Role Model.” Thus, if the King that GOD
appoints over
To their and our hurt our forefathers
worshipped all
manner of symbols: the
sun, moon,
stars, and images of gold and silver.
To observe the “Sign” in the heavens as being the New Moon
“Sighting” is
NOT worshipping the moon, but rather it is doing as we are COMMANDED
in
Genesis 1:14:
“And God said, Let there be lights
in the
firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them
be for
signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:”
Some people feel that the moon has no
“light,” but
according to GOD’s WORD to HIS Prophets, it most certainly
does:
Isaiah
13:10; Isaiah 30:26; Jeremiah 31:35; Ezekiel 32:7.

Contrary to the belief of some Israelites,
the moon
does indeed shine! Even
if the Moon
shines with the aid of the sun, i.e., reflects the light of the sun, IT
STILL
SHINES! And the fact that Scripture
attests to
this fact, is what’s important:
Isaiah 60:19; Jeremiah 31:35; and Ezekiel 32:7. Therefore, Genesis 1:14 is
proof
enough that we must use the shining New Moon Crescents as “…SIGNS,
AND FOR
SEASONS, AND FOR DAYS, AND FOR YEARS:”
Some Israelites, along with White Jews, use
the dark
phase of the moon to determine the start of a new month.
If the
dark phase of the moon lasts for “2-3 days,” then which of these
days is
supposed to be the distinguishing “Sign” that determines the First
Day of the
month? Or do we just
arbitrarily
select either/or depending on the imaginations of our hearts?
On the contrary, with the use of the
sighted
“Sign” of the
“So David hid himself in the field: and
WHEN THE
NEW MOON WAS COME, the king sat him down to eat meat.” I Samuel 20:24
At the time of the dark phases of the moon
(generally
2-3 days), as previously written, there is no “moon” in SIGHT. Therefore, I Samuel 20:24
sheds more
light on Genesis 1:14.
“WHEN THE
NEW MOON WAS COME,” is clearly telling readers that this is a
reference
to a visible “
The only problem that presents itself when
using the
“New Moon Sighting” to call the First Day of the month is cloud
coverage, as
this prevents the ability to see the

clarifies the fact that our New Moons are Feast Days is Ezekiel
45:17:

NEW MOONS, and in the Sabbaths, in ALL SOLEMNITIES of the house
of
Israel: he shall
prepare the
sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the

offerings, to make reconciliation for the HOUSE OF
ISRAEL.” (Caps. are mine.)
Unequivocally, our New Moons are included
in these
“SOLEMNITIES” mentioned in Ezekiel
45:17.
“Likewise the people of the land shall
worship at the
door of this gate before the LORD in
the Sabbaths [Feasts – NOT 7th Day Sabbaths*] and in the NEW
MOONS.” Ezekiel 46:3 (Brackets are
mine.)
Thereby, this verse justifies the First Day
of each
month being our “Feast” Day. It should be realized that the
Feast
Days that Our GOD selected (Leviticus 23rd Chapter) are “Holy
Convocations,”
i.e., on these days we cannot do any work.
However, because King Saul observed the New Moon as a Feast Day,
we have
every reason to do so, as well.
We also have learned that our forefathers traveled to the

regarding worshipping Our LORD GOD of ISRAEL, Our SAVIOR, on the New
Moons. We should know
that
throughout the Tanakh Hebrew Israelites called for “feasts” for
various
occasions. Therefore, we
are within
our rights to observe a Feast every New Moon to Our GOD, the GOD of
Abraham,
Isaac, and Jacob/Israel.
And those of us who love this WONDERFUL GOD and who choose HIM

CONCERNING “HOLY
CONVOCATION”
The issue stemming from the meaning of
“Holy
Convocation” written in Leviticus 23rd Chapter is real, and
the
interpretation is grossly misunderstood.
“Holy Convocation” does not mean “To Gather.” And the sin committed by
traveling and
gathering on the CREATOR’s Holy Sabbath of Complete REST has grave
consequences
(Exodus 31:12 - 18).
Conclusive evidence that “holy
convocation” DOES NOT
mean to assemble is provided in the passage on Passover. In Exodus 12:16 we are
told that
Passover is a “holy convocation” but yet, we are Commanded to
observe this High
Holy Day with our immediate families and only to join with another
family if
one’s members are too few for the lamb (Exodus 12:4). This proves without a doubt
that “holy
convocation” cannot mean to assemble, but rather to keep the holy days
“HOLY.” Some call
attention to the
fact that because Israelites were Commanded to ”…turn in the morning
and go into
their tents”
(Deuteronomy 16:5-7)
that this is proof of an assembly.
Those Israelite families that joined with others are the ones GOD
Commanded to return to their tents.

The ideal diet promoted today
is just
what Chapter 1 verse 29 of Genesis refers to: Herbs, seeds, nuts,

and green vegetation. Today, are we slowly
evolving towards
this ideal diet with the downturn of the economy and research constantly
proving
that new and improved processed foods are not the way to go for a
healthy
life?
Eat your vegetables your
mother said.
You remember? That wonderful savory one pot meal of Green
beans, mixed
greens or a variety of dried beans complete with
cornbread?
Although your mother wasn't a
licensed
nutritionist she knew what made you grow and what kept you
healthy.
Many of us thrived despite digesting meals heavy laden with
generous infusions of bacon drippings and pork fat
seasoning.
As our appetites became used
to an
increased consumption of fibrous red meat in the form of steaks and chop
diets,
the sweet and heavy carbohydrate desserts of cake, cookies, and
pies, we
watched as our cholesterol levels rose to dangerous levels, our weight
balloon
and ultimately pay the price for deviating from mama's vegetable
meals with
increased weight and along with this unhealthy
maladies.
Now the trend has
reversed
itself again and instead of rich desserts and red meat consumption
so
called "experts" are advocating we return to one pot vegetable
meals and
less fat. They now call this ideal diet plan, The Mediterranean
Diet.
The so-called Mediterranean
Diet as
experts claim include all the necessary rich bulk and
vegetables needed for a healthy existence. This cooking type can
easily be
called the African Diet too!
Both cultures enjoy one dish
meals
complete with vegetables and the occasional meat addition in the form of
lamb.
The same ingredients our ancestors enjoyed millennia
ago.
The oil used then was olive
oil fresh
from all the olive trees or either from the various nut palms. Instead
of highly
saturated fats like solid vegetable shortenings our parents
used.
The wonderful one pot
meals…
ingredients we lost so long ago...With those one pot meals you'll see
the fats
replaced by healthy olive oil. Pork replaced by lamb, chicken or fish.
All this new information just
proves
that not only mother did know best but we're moving ever towards the

Inhaling
incense fumes
over long periods increases the risk of developing cancers of the
respiratory
tract, a finding that applies to Asian populations worldwide,
researchers
warn.
Burning
incense — a
mix of plant materials and oils — is an integral part of daily life in
large
parts of Asia, as well as in North Africa and among Inuit
populations.
Incense
releases large
amounts of smoke containing particulate matter that gets caught in the
lungs, as
well as possible carcinogens such as polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs),
carbonyls
and benzene.
Indoor
concentrations
of particulate matter from burning incense has been found to far exceed
outdoor
air quality standards, and can potentially produce more particulate
matter than
second-hand tobacco smoke, previous studies have
shown.
Burning
incense almost
doubled the risk of squamous cell carcinomas in the upper respiratory
tract,
such as the nose and sinuses, tongue, mouth and larynx, said the
researchers led
by Dr. Jeppe Friborg of the epidemiology department at Statens Serum
Institut in
Their
findings are
published in the Oct. 1 issue of the journal
Cancer.
"Given the
widespread
and sometimes involuntary exposure to smoke of burning incense, these
findings
carry significant public health implications," the study's authors
concluded.
"Besides
initiatives
to reduce incense smoke exposure, future studies should be undertaken to
identify the least harmful types of incense."
While a
cause-and-effect relationship could not be established in this type of
study,
experts suggest burning incense less often and improving ventilation to
minimize
the long-term risks.
The risk
increased in
both smokers and non-smokers, the study of more than 61,000 Singaporean
Chinese
found. The intensity and duration of incense use were also both linked
to the
levels of risk, Friborg's team found.
The
overall risk of
lung cancer did not appear to increase with incense use, but the study
did
suggest a link to increased risk of a specific type of disease, squamous
cell
carcinoma of the lung.
Participants were aged
45 to 74 and were free of cancer when they were first interviewed in
1993-1998.
They were followed until 2005.
Over that
time, a
total of 325 upper respiratory tract cancers (including nasal/sinus,
tongue,
mouth, laryngeal and other cancers) and 821 lung cancers were
found.

(a
substance that maintains your body's fluid levels), this mineral helps
regulate

pressure in check, can benefit from potassium.
A Harvard study showed that
men who
took a potassium supplement with a diuretic decreased their incidence of
stroke
by 60 percent, compared to men who did not. Potassium neutralizes
acids and
restores alkaline salts to the bloodstream. Potassium works with sodium
in all
cells including at nerve synapses to maintain or restore membrane
potentials and
to assist in metabolic processes. Potassium is critical to our
cardiovascular
and nerve functioning, regulating the transfer of nutrients into cells
and
facilitating muscle energy.
Potassium also regulates
water
balance and assists recuperative powers. Potassium aids
rheumatic or
arthritic conditions (causing acids to leave the joints and ease
stiffness).
Potassium is crucial for the elimination of wastes. Potassium is a
natural
pain desensitizer. Potassium helps control convulsions, headaches and
migraines,
promotes faster healing of cuts, bruises and other injuries and
generally
contributes to a sense of well being. Potassium is stored in the
muscles.
Body builders use a “potassium load” to give their muscles more
energy but there
is no scientific proof of its effectiveness.
Potassium naturally wants
to bind to
something to form a potassium compound. Since the human body is very
inefficient
at breaking down compound minerals, only a small percentage of the
Potassium we
consume actually gets used. To be utilized, Potassium must be in
elemental form.
The Potassium molecule needs be small enough to enter an individual
cell, and
it must be inside a water molecule.
Thus, Potassium must be
water-soluble. Water-soluble minerals cannot build up in the body.
Therefore
they do not reach toxic levels. You can also get your
potassium by
eating lots of produce - bananas, orange juice, dried dates, and
apricots.
You need about 3,500 mg daily, but over-the-counter supplements
contain

retention.

So, stop procrastinating and get started. Walk to the tune of Scripture
or your
favorite upbeat music.

prefer the quiet, walk and meditate with the Most High. Just make sure that you make
time for
your body and soul. You’ll see and

THE
52-WEIGHT-LOSS DIET PLAN
Recently, I heard on the news that soon
people will
be spending a dollar out of every five for medical expenses. But if we are healthy, we
don’t have to
fall prey to this reckoning.
As we
grow older, we gain weight.
I am a
witness! And guess
what? We do not need this extra load
we are
carrying. Therefore, I
am doing
something about it.
My friend and I have decided to embark upon
a
Weight-Loss Plan to lose 52 pounds in one year. We have started by promising
to lose one
pound a week. Thus, we
hope to lose
52 pounds by the second week in February 2007. We have already started, but
it’s not
too late for YOU to join with us.
So, hop on board and be a NEW HEALTHIER, LIGHTER WEIGHT this
time next
year!
Some of the things we plan
to do
are:
-limit our intake of
“white”
foods: rice, bread,
potatoes, ice
cream, sugar, etc.
-eliminate fast foods and
processed
foods
-walk at least 3 days a
week
-do not eat after 8 P.M.
– drink
green tea with mint
-eat more fruits and
veggies
-bake rather than fry our
meats
-drink plenty of water and
tea
-weigh in every Tuesday
and E-mail
the other party the new weight status
A weekly journal is kept of weight lost or
gained. And there is no fair or fun
cheating.
If you do not need to lose 52 pounds, then
adjust the
plan to the amount of pounds to lose and time frame appropriate for

As we well know, the CREATOR GOD of Israel
scattered
us, HIS Chosen People into the "
Too many of us
are numbered
among the unemployed, living on welfare, committing crimes, in abusive
relationships, abusing alcohol, and taking and selling illegal drugs,
among the
other vices that destroy us.
We
suffer these curses upon us for forsaking Our GOD and turning to
man-made idols
and human similitudes and for rejecting HIS Righteous Laws, Statutes,
and
Judgments. We prefer to
make and
live by our own imaginations, ordinances, and agendas that have gotten
us
nowhere and have gotten our captors, those we strive to emulate, just as
far.
In struggling to
be a part
of this adverse Gentile society and reap some of its benefits, we do not
realize
it, but in doing so, we fall deeper into the grip of those who control
our
lives. And worse, we
become
brainwashed and succumb to the White folks' Christian values and
perverted
ideals that, albeit, leave us perpetually dominated by them and still
excluded
from their mainstream of equal opportunities, prosperity, and the
pursuit of
happiness with nothing to show for our constant struggles to be
successful.
Yet, we continue
to believe
that we will rise above this plight, this horrible curse, that Our GOD,
nonetheless, has put upon us to bring us to our senses and to cause us
to return
to HIM and to our heritage.
We
delude ourselves every presidential election believing that, as a group,
we can
vote for a leader who will work in our behalf and better our economic
status and
improve conditions in the ghettoes of Hell established especially for
Black
folks in this land of plenty – no matter that the candidate is always
White.
However, now, we
have a
fabulous Black man running for president, and we are all tickled pink
firmly
believing that for sure Barack Obama will make a difference in this 2008
presidential election.
Well, in
truth, it is already different, and there has never been an election
campaign
like it since the founding of this country. It is believed that this
beautiful Black
man with a proven track record of "change" and helping the poor and the
underprivileged is going to be the one who will liberate the Black
Peoples of
America out of their despair and misery that the CREATOR GOD of Israel
has put
upon us, even though we have neither returned to HIM nor resigned
ourselves to
live and do HIS LAW. And
that which
is so astonishing is that in this group of Black supporters are also
Israelites
who know the GOD of Israel and know HIS WORD but who still choose to put
confidence in this so-called "democratic" voting system that has only
secured
for us continued suppression and regression. The wise should know that
GOD's purpose
for scattering us here is for us to fail, so that we will turn to HIM,
and that
we cannot change HIS Will.
Thus, under these circumstances, we would be better served by
taking a
chance on a gumball machine.
At
least then, if we insert our penny, or is it nickel or quarter these
days, we
know we will at least get something in return. Let me
explain.
Ever since GOD
chose the
SEED of Jacob, we have put faith and expectations in any and everything
but the
CREATOR that made us HIS Inheritance and that made an Everlasting
Covenant with
us. One of our many
abominable
faults we had (and still have) is belief in false gods, the pagan "Queen
of
heaven" being one of them, that I have designated to prove a point.
"But we will certainly do whatsoever thing
goeth forth
out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to
pour out
drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our
kings, and
our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem:
for then
had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. But since we left off to burn
incense to
the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have
wanted
all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine. And
when we
burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings
unto her,
did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto
her,

The wicked
Israelites
turned from the CREATOR GOD that had given the Children of Jacob the
"…The LORD is with you, while ye be with him;
and if ye
seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will

you. Now for a long
season
But HIS Help in
saving them
from their enemies was soon forgotten, and they returned to serving
false gods
and burning incense to them instead of their Loving SAVIOR. The Israelites falsely
believed in a
heavenly body, one of GOD's Creations, rather than the CREATOR that
literally
gave them everything that mattered including power and wealth and rest
from
enemy attacks – a PEACE that only the CREATOR GOD of Israel can
manifest.

her silver and gold, which they prepared for

Therefore, what
else does
Our GOD of Israel need to show us in order to make us realize that all
our hope,
trust, and expectations must be in ONLY HIM for ONLY HE can save
us out
of our distresses? And

At this day and

should be putting all our energies in prayer and fasting to Our GOD of
Israel. We must beseech
HIM in
Truth with contrite spirits for HIS Mercy to remember HIS Covenant with
Abraham,
Isaac, and Jacob and to remember HIS Promise to restore us to our Land
and to
our Righteous state, as it is written in the Hebrew Scriptures at the
word of
HIS Prophets.

And let us not
forget King
Solomon's Prayer that is filled with so much more promise than hope in a
Black
president.
"When thy people Israel be smitten down
before the
enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again to
thee, and
confess thy name, and pray, and make supplication unto thee in this
house: Then
hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring
them
again unto the land which thou gavest unto their
fathers." I Kings
8:33,34
However, of most
importance, the GOD of Israel, HIMSELF, is reading hearts to see who
indeed has
returned to HM and to HIS Paths of Righteousness. And from this REMNANT that is
escaped
and left, Our GOD of Israel will choose HIS Special Ones, those who will
elect
to serve and worship HIM according to HIS Book of the Law, as it is
written.
"And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me
into the
mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law,
and
commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach
them." Exodus
24:12
"Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may
have some
that shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be
scattered
through the countries." Ezekiel
6:8
"And it shall come to pass, that in all the
land,
saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the
third shall
be left therein." Zechariah
13:8
This Remnant will
be of the
Nation of Israel because they trust in the Most High GOD of Abraham,
Isaac, and
Jacob.
This Remnant will
be the
Third Part of the Nation of Israel that GOD will SAVE and whose prayers
HE will
hear to establish them according to HIS WORD to our forefathers all
because they
will trust in HIM and will wholly follow HIM and HIS
LAW.
"Surely none of the men that came up out of
Egypt,
from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I sware unto
Abraham,
unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed
me:" Numbers
32:11
As it has always
been
written in stone, the determining factor for the establishment of this
Third
Part hinges on the Israelites who will serve and worship the GOD of
Abraham
and live by the teachings that HE gave to HIS Prophet Moses. The GOD of Israel will gather
this Third
Part of Israelites out of the Gentile countries by HIS Mighty Hand, take
us into
the Wilderness, where HE will again demonstrate HIS Power and HIS
Miracles to
make believers out of us and where HE will plead with those of us who
Fear HIM
to make us once again HIS Covenant People.
"And I will bring you out from the people,
and will
gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty
hand,
and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out. And I will bring
you
into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face
to face.
Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the
The matter now at
hand, is
whether or not we really want to improve our lot and want to be SAVED
out of
captivity or continue to play games with Our GOD and in the end be lost
in HIS
Wrath upon Babylon and upon all the evil and wicked of the world who
reject HIS
Principles of Truth and Righteousness.
As we observe
GOD's Holy
Days of the Seventh Month, let us show Our REDEEMER that we want to be
numbered
among this Third Part that will live in Righteousness to Represent HIM
before
the world to prove that HE ALONE is the ONE and ONLY CREATOR
GOD. Let us Feast, indeed as we
have been
Commanded, but let us also be humbled and prayerful for Our GOD of
Israel to
Change the Times and Deliver us out of the hands of those who took us
captives. Let us give
heartfelt
meaning to our Holy Feast Days and to our Redemption and
Salvation.
The Memorial of
Blowing of
Trumpets:
"And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Speak unto the
children of
"Also in the day of your gladness, and in
your solemn
days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the
trumpets over
your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings;
that they
may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your

The Day of
Atonement:

us, all who seek HIM in Truth to hope and trust in ONLY HIM for Our HELP

Israelites by cutting off and killing our wicked forefathers. This is a fact! Now, since HE has opened our

conditioning The Third Part of the House of Israel that will

and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is
tried:

May Our GOD of
LORD GOD of
Jacob, with
quaking and Judgment make haste to be Exalted and to be Magnified, and
let your
Covenant People, the SEED of Jacob, show the world that YOU ALONE are
the True
and Living GOD and that YOU ALONE are to be Praised, served, and
worshipped
above all gods upon this Earth.
Father of Abraham and Moses, make the world understand that, of a
Truth,
all other gods are but wood, stone, and human imaginations lacking any
iota of
your Divine LAW or any tribute to your Ways of Righteousness. We know that YOU are our only
hope. Father, it is time for you to
take back
your Universe! It is time
for every
knee to bow to YOU, Heavenly Father!
