Let us prepare our hearts for the celebrations that are to begin with the New Moon sighting for this holiday season.

The first of the HIGH HOLY DAYS to be celebrated is the “Memorial of Blowing of Trumpets”.

Leviticus 23:24 – “Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first [day] of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.”

Numbers 29:1 – “And in the seventh month, on the first [day] of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.”

The second observance of these HIGH HOLY DAYS is, “Yom Kippoor” a time of fasting and atonement.

Leviticus 23:27 – “Also on the tenth [day] of this seventh month [there shall be] a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.”

Leviticus 23:28 – “And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it [is] a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.”

The third celebration of the HIGH HOLY DAYS is “The Feast of Tabernacle (Dwelling in Booths)”.

Leviticus 23:34 – “Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month [shall be] the feast of tabernacles [for] seven days unto the LORD.”

Deuteronomy 16:13 – “Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:”

BY LOOKING IN THE “WEST” JUST ABOVE THE HORIZON.

“He appointed the moon for seasons…”

The first “Sign” in the Heavens to provide the start of days, years and “seasons” can only begin with the “Sighting” of the New Moon Crescent - that which we can “see” in order for it to serve as a “Sign” and enable us to begin counting our days.   Just imagine not being able to “see” the moon at all.  How then could it be appointed for seasons?

“The natural thought might be that the moon is like a living being.  It is born, grows, reaches maximum size, then fades and dies, going through all these stages in one month.  Even today, we still talk of the thin crescent in the western sky as a new moon and the thin crescent in the eastern sky a month later as the old moon.  Half way between is the full moon.  As I explained earlier, this cycle of phases of the moon established the month as a unit of time, and the first calendars were based on this.”   ISAAC ASIMOV’S GUIDE TO EARTH AND SPACE, pages 79 and 80

In that the King of Israel is supposed to be a “Righteous Judge” (II Chronicles 1:11), it stands to reason that he is also supposed to be a “Righteous Role Model.”  Thus, if the King that GOD appoints over Israel observes a “feast” on the day of the New Moon, then wisdom tells the Nation of Israel to do likewise.  King Saul and the anointed David observed this service (I Samuel 20^th Chapter).

To their and our hurt our forefathers worshipped all manner of symbols:  the sun, moon, stars, and images of gold and silver.  To observe the “Sign” in the heavens as being the New Moon “Sighting” is NOT worshipping the moon, but rather it is doing as we are COMMANDED in Genesis 1:14.

a memorial before your God:  I am the LORD your God.”

Contrary to the belief of some Israelites, the moon does indeed shine!  Whether the Moon shines on its own or with the aid of the sun, IT STILL SHINES!  And the fact that Scripture attests to this fact, is what’s important:  Isaiah 60:19; Jeremiah 31:35; and Ezekiel 32:7.  Therefore, Genesis 1:14 is proof enough that we must use the shining New Moon Crescents as “…SIGNS, AND FOR SEASONS, AND FOR DAYS, AND FOR YEARS:”  

Some Israelites, along with White Jews, use the dark phase of the moon to determine the start of a new month.  If the dark phase of the moon lasts for “2-3 days,” then which of these days is supposed to be the distinguishing “Sign” that determines the First Day of the month?  Or do we just arbitrarily select either, depending on the imaginations of our hearts?   On the contrary, with the use of the sighted “Sign” of the New Moon Crescent in the Heavens we eliminate any confusion as to which day IS the First Day of the month.  The only problem that presents itself is cloud coverage that prevents the ability to see the New Moon Crescent.   Nonetheless, one can easily distinguish the New Moon Crescent “Sighting” from all the other phases due to its thin sliver and its low position in the heavens, and the reason is that no two days or rather phases of the visible moon are alike.  Thus, to use the New Moon Crescent as the “Sign” in the heavens, as we are COMMANDED to do for our seasons, days, and years, negates the belief that the “commandment was given to the luminaries.”  The “luminaries” fulfill GOD’s Commandments:  the sun shines and the moon orbits the Earth.  They have no need to determine seasons, days, and years.  Hence, our New Moons are obviously of more spiritual significance to the Nation of Israel than we are aware.  And for sure, the TRUTH concerning them are in GOD’s WORD to HIS Prophets/Seers - not the White Jews or other Gentiles.  All we need do is use wisdom, discern what’s written in Scripture, and accept it!

And to those who believe that the New Moon is the Full Moon, I have but this to say:  “The Full Moon cannot be the ‘New’ Moon because the month’s moon is visible for 14 days prior to the Full Moon, thus, conflicting with it being “New.”  And even if one accepts that the Full Moon is the New Moon, it would appear that the “dark phases” of the moon would render this assumption incorrect.  Reason being that once the moon is in the “dark phase” it just makes sense to start counting the days of the month (when the moon is “lighted” at the time of the “Crescent”) – 1 to 29.5 days in accordance with Genesis 1:14.  I would like to also add that if one starts counting day one at the time of the Full Moon, once they get to day 14/15, the moon is no longer visible but rather is in its ‘dark phase’.”   The “dark phase” signals the end of the month and the coming of a “New” one.

Unless there is an emergency, please try not to buy or sell on this day.  Conduct all financial and business transactions prior to the day of the New Moon.  Interesting enough, II Kings 4:23,24 constitutes the New Moon as being a day to seek “the man of God.”  Although the New Moon is NOT a Day of Rest, Our GOD did set it aside for recognition:

“Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.”   Psalm 81:3

“And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.”   Isaiah 66:23

“…When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn?…”   Amos 8:5

Probably, the Scripture that most determines and clarifies the fact that our New Moons are Feast Days is Ezekiel 45:17:

“And it shall be the prince’s part to give burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the NEW MOONS, and in the Sabbaths, in ALL SOLEMNITIES of the house of Israel:  he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the HOUSE OF ISRAEL.”   (Caps. are mine.)

Unequivocally, our New Moons are included in these “SOLEMNITIES” mentioned in Ezekiel 45:17.

“Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the door of this gate before the LORD in the Sabbaths [Feasts – NOT 7^th Day Sabbaths*] and in the NEW MOONS.”   Ezekiel 46:3   (Brackets are mine.)

Thereby, this justifies the First Day of each month being our “Feast” Day.  It should be realized that the Feast Days that Our GOD selected are “Holy Convocations,” i.e., on these days we cannot do any work.  However, because King Saul observed the New Moon as a Feast Day, we have every reason to do so, as well.   We also have learned that our forefathers traveled to the Temple to worship the Holy ONE on the New Moon (II Kings 4:23 and Ezekiel 45:17), and when HE has HIS Temple rebuilt, then we will be able to resume this service once again.

When we return to our heritage and worship YIHOVAH according to HIS Ways, then we can establish our own “Calendar of the Universe,” whereby, the days of the New Moon and all GOD’s Holy Days will be recognized by the whole entire World.

Why has the Holy ONE given us this Feast Day (the Memorial of Blowing of Trumpets) to keep it “Holy?”

“Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:

What is the importance of the Holy ONE of Israel COMMANDING the Israelites to observe the Feasts of Passover, Weeks, and Tabernacles in Jerusalem?

HINTS FOR HARDY, HEALTHY HEBREWS:

In that this is the time of “Ingathering” when we are COMMANDED to rejoice before the Holy ONE of Israel in HIS Holy City, Jerusalem, I thought it might be worthwhile to provide interesting information on “Honey” since the “Land of Israel” is referred to as “The Land Flowing with Milk and Honey.”  But first please permit me to denote just a few of the many passages in the TORAH and other Scriptures that make mention of “Honey.”  

“And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.”   Exodus 3:17

“And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.”   II Chronicles 31:5

“But ten men were found among them that said unto Ishmael, Slay us not: for we have treasures in the field, of wheat, and of barley, and of oil, and of honey. So he forbare, and slew them not among their brethren.”   Jeremiah 41:8

A Spoonful a Day:

Ayurvedic as well as Yunani medicine have been using honey as a vital medicine for centuries. Scientists of today also accept honey as a "Ram Ban" (very effective) medicine for all kinds of diseases. Honey can be used without any side effects for any kind of diseases. Today's science says that even though honey is sweet, if taken in the right dosage as a medicine, it does not harm diabetic patients. A famous magazine named Weekly World News published in Canada dated 17 January, 95 has given a list of diseases that can be cured by Honey and Cinnamon as researched by western scientists.

HEART DISEASES:

Make a paste of honey and cinnamon powder, apply on bread or chappati instead of jelly and jam and eat it regularly for breakfast. It reduces the cholesterol in the arteries and saves the patient from heart attack. Also those who have already had an attack, if they do this process daily, are kept miles away from the next attack. Regular use of the above process relieves loss of breath and strengthens the heartbeat. In America and Canada, various nursing homes have treated patients successfully and have found that due to the increasing age the arteries and veins, which lose their flexibility and get clogged, are revitalized.

ARTHRITIS:

Take one part honey to two parts of lukewarm water and add a small teaspoon of cinnamon powder, make a paste and massage it on the itching part of the body slowly. It is noticed that the pain recedes within a minute or two. Arthritis patients may take daily, morning and night, one cup of hot water with two spoons of honey and one small teaspoon of cinnamon powder. If taken regularly even chronic arthritis can be cured. In a recent research conducted at the Copenhagen University, it was found that when the doctors treated their patients with a mixture of one tablespoon Honey and half teaspoon cinnamon powder before breakfast, they found that within a week out of the 200 people so treated practically 73 patients were totally relieved of pain and within a month, mostly all the patients who could not walk or move around because of arthritis started walking without pain.

HAIR LOSS:

Those suffering from hair loss or baldness, may apply a paste of hot olive oil, one tablespoon of honey, one teaspoon of cinnamon powder before bath and keep it for approx. 15 min. and then wash the hair. It was found to be effective even if kept on for 5 minutes.

BLADDER INFECTIONS:

Take two tablespoons of cinnamon powder an d one teaspoon of honey in a glass of luke warm water and drink it. It destroys the germs in the bladder.

TOOTHACHE:

Make a paste of one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and five teaspoons of honey and apply on the aching tooth. This may be applied 3 times a day till the tooth stops aching.

Tea made with honey and cinnamon powder, when taken regularly arrests the ravages of old age. Take 4 spoons of honey, 1 spoon of cinnamon powder and 3 cups of water and boil to make like tea. Drink 1/4cup, 3 to 4 times a day. It keeps the skin fresh and soft and arrests old age. Life spans also increases and even a 100 years old, starts performing the chores of a 20-year-old.

PIMPLES:

Three tablespoons of Honey and one teaspoon of cinnamon powder paste. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water. If done daily for two weeks, it removes pimples from the root.

SKIN INFECTIONS:

Applying honey and cinnamon powder in equal parts on the affected parts cures eczema, ringworm and all types of skin infections.

WEIGHT LOSS:

Daily in the morning 1/2hour before breakfast on an empty stomach and at night before sleeping, drink honey and cinnamon powder boiled in one-cup water. If taken regularly it reduces the weight of even the most obese person. CANCER:

It’s no wonder the Land of Israel is compared to “flowing…milk and honey.”   And no doubt the above information is but the tip of the ice berg.   There’s so much we have to learn about the benefits of living in our land and following the Ways of Our Holy ONE of Israel!  Just about all people live for prosperity, happiness, and good health.  But if people would just seek the True and Living GOD in Righteousness and in joyfulness and live for HIM, then prosperity, happiness and good health would be a given and without asking.

“Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.”   Deuteronomy 29:9

“Only be thou strong and very courageous that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee:  turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goet.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest  observe to do according to all that is written therein:  for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”  Joshua 1:7,8

“Thou shalt be blessed above all people:  there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.

“And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.”   Deuteronomy 7:14,15

Unfortunately, if we do not seek the GOD of Israel and are not obedient to HIS Laws, Statutes, and Judgments, then the other end of the spectrum is nothing to look forward to:

“If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;

“Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuace.

“Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wst afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.”   Deuteronomy 28:58,59

“Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;

“Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things:  and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.”   Deuteronomy 28:47,48

This sounds like the TransAtlantic Slave Trade, right?  Well, it is!  But we can get out of this captivity by returning to the Holy ONE of Israel and HIS Book of the Law. 

During this season of observing GOD’s Feast Days, let us pray that Our Holy ONE of Israel will soon show us HIS Mercy just as HE did with our forefathers who were in bondage down in Egypt, as well as serve justice to our enemies as HE did to the Ancient Egyptians.  Thereby, HE would be enabling us to return to our heritage and fulfill Ezekiel 20:40.

“Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

I think that the most awesome experiences of all that we can do and of a lifetime involve serving and worshipping the Most High GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, keeping HIS Law and observing HIS Holy Days, in particular HIS frequent Sabbaths of Rest, which I enjoy immensely.  These observances are indeed enlightening and rewarding experiences that reflect absolute “LIGHT” on the Creator, the All-Mighty GOD that established them specifically for HIS Praise and Glory.

Since the Garden of Eden, the Most High GOD has expressed that HIS Will be done.  After HE Created Heaven and Earth, the very first thing GOD Created was “LIGHT.” Then after HE Created “man,” HE Created another “LIGHT” -  HIS “Word and TRUTH” to be shared with the “man” HE had made and to be observed FOR EVER.   It’s no wonder that this GOD, the Creator, never once changed HIS Ways but passed them on to Adam, Noah, and to HIS Chosen People to live and do them always.

But “man” rejected the GOD that Created them and flatly refused to carry HIS “LIGHT” and  preferred to live in darkness.  With this attitude, the Holy ONE was not at all pleased.  HE became very upset and aggravated with this “man” HE had Created - the one amazing phenomenon HE Created that thought itself as wise as the All-Mighty GOD all because he could think, solve problems, and create his own gods.  The True and Living GOD would have none of this nonsense and vowed to destroy “man” with the exception of one - Noah (and his family), who had found grace with this GOD and enjoyed peace and satisfaction in this magnificent “LIGHT” that GOD had established to guide mankind into HIS Ways of Righteousness.

As a result of “evil man” turning GOD’s world back into a void and darkness, the Creator destroyed all life on Earth with a FLOOD that produced forty days and forty nights of treacherous, deadly rains.

After the FLOOD, the Most High GOD remained confident that eventually HE would be able to find a people who would accept HIM and carry HIS “LIGHT” for all the world to see and who would with all their hearts choose to illuminate their lives with the goodness and prosperity that it offers.

GOD, the Creator was so right!  HE found Abram, changed his name to Abraham, gave him the Land of Canaan, and made an everlasting Covenant with him to be a GOD to him and to his SEED FOREVER.

“…thou art great, O LORD God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

“And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?

“For thou hast confirmed to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever: and thou, LORD, art become their God.”    II Samuel 7:22 - 24

“Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.”  Hosea 13:4

It was good that Abraham taught his son Isaac and Isaac taught his son Jacob (whose name GOD changed to Israel) to love their Creator and bear HIS “LIGHT” at all times.  These three men and their SEED up until Kings David and Solomon were devoted to their GOD and lived for HIM in good health and abundant peace and prosperity, as long as they served and worshipped their Most High GOD of Israel by keeping HIS Laws in Righteousness.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”   Joshua 1:8

“Now, my son, (King David speaking to his son David) the LORD be with thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of the LORD thy God, as he hath said of thee.

“Only the LORD give thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the law of the LORD thy God.

“Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.

“Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of the LORD an hundred thousand talents of gold, and a thousand thousand talents of silver; and of brass and iron without weight; for it is in abundance: timber also and stone have I prepared; and thou mayest add thereto.

“Moreover there are workmen with thee in abundance, hewers and workers of stone and timber, and all manner of cunning men for every manner of work.

“Of the gold, the silver, and the brass, and the iron, there is no number. Arise therefore, and be doing, and the LORD be with thee.”   I Chronicles 22:11:16

“…Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.”   II Chronicles 20:20

Unfortunately GOD’s joy in having a Chosen People who would carry HIS Special “LIGHT” for HIS Praise and Glory was short lived, and the reason is that Jacob’s children, the twelve tribes turned out to be a most rebellious and stiffnecked lot.

Although the Israelites forsook their GOD of Israel, HE stayed with them even when HE caused their enemies to triumph over them.  At these times their GOD of Israel sent them Saviors to save them out of their captivity hoping that this would make them decide to serve and worship only HIM.  But it didn’t, and it should be noted that many, many times the Most High GOD of Israel saved them out of affliction but to no avail.

“Nevertheless they were disobedient, and rebelled against thee, and cast thy law behind their backs, and slew thy prophets which testified against them to turn them to thee, and they wrought great provocations.

“Therefore thou deliveredst them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and according to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them saviours, who saved them out of the hand of their enemies.

“But after they had rest, they did evil again before thee: therefore leftest thou them in the land of their enemies, so that they had the dominion over them: yet when they returned, and cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and many times didst thou deliver them according to thy mercies;

“And testifiedst against them, that thou mightest bring them again unto thy law: yet they dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, but sinned against thy judgments, (which if a man do, he shall live in them;) and withdrew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear.” Nehemiah 9:26 - 29

Now, even the SEED of Abraham chose to live in darkness, as opposed to living with GOD’s worthwhile “LIGHT” that HE had made especially for those HE loved so dearly.  Thus, the reason the GOD of Israel caused the Grecians to remove them from their land altogether.

“And they set them up images and groves in every high hill, and under every green tree:

“And there they burnt incense in all the high places, as did the heathen whom the LORD carried away before them; and wrought wicked things to provoke the LORD to anger:

“For they served idols, whereof the LORD had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing.

“Yet the LORD testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets.

“Notwithstanding they would not hear, but hardened their necks, like to the neck of their fathers, that did not believe in the LORD their God.

“And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them.

“And they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.

“And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

“Therefore the LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight: there was none left but the tribe of Judah only.

“Also Judah kept not the commandments of the LORD their God, but walked in the statutes of Israel which they made.

“And the LORD rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of spoilers, until he had cast them out of his sight.”

II Kings 17:10 20

“Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:

“Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.

“Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.

“But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.”   Jeremiah 7:25 - 28

“The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.”   Joel 3:6

However, the GOD of Abraham would not altogether destroy HIS Chosen People for HE had promised that “the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh,” moreover HE remembered HIS Covenant with Abraham!

Instead, HE would teach HIS People to fear HIM to do HIS Will.  Thus, HE sent HIS Chosen People out of HIS Glorious land to serve those who would rule over them and who would show them what it means to live in a cruel and dreadful darkness that lacked compassion and pity even for babies and the elderly.   GOD, therefore, caused HIS Chosen Ones to lose their identity, culture, land, and power.  As well, HE discontinued the line of communication that existed between HIM and HIS People. 

“Her gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars:  her king and her princes are among the Gentiles:  the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the LORD.”   Lamentations 2:9 (See also Deuteronomy 28^th Chapter.)

Yes, their Holy ONE, the Creator, showed them the true meaning of living the life they preferred - absolute DARKNESS that provided a want of all things. 

GOD hoped that maybe this punishment would cause HIS People to realize the true meaning and benefits of living under the PROTECTION of the All-Mighty GOD in HIS Glorious land of milk and honey and return to HIM.

GOD’s Promise was that HIS People would be Delivered and Redeemed, but only if they would abandon their false gods and idol worship and return to HIM to bear HIS “LIGHT” through keeping HIS Law in order to be the Holy Ones HE needed to enlighten the world, as was HIS plan so many millennia ago.

“I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

“To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.”  Isaiah 42:6,7

“And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.”    Isaiah 49:6

To date, this same Creator of Heaven and Earth indeed LIVES and yet awaits HIS Chosen People to return to HIM to bear the “LIGHT” that Exalts HIM above all gods, and HE WILL NOT RELENT TO THE KEEPING OF HIS LAWS, STATUTES, AND JUDGMENTS IN RIGHTEOUSNESS.

If the All-Mighty GOD, the Creator of Heaven and Earth can form man and cause life and death, why won’t “mere man” obey this GOD and do HIS Will???

Though we are wise and, yes, intelligent human beings by some standards, we are dumb as nails to reject the True and Living GOD - the Creator of the Universe for rejecting HIM results in deadly consequences.  If we have sense enough not to go up against a lion, a grizzly bear, or other ferocious animal, why then don’t we have sense enough NOT to go up against this All-Mighty GOD to defy HIM???   Surely, we are wise enough to know that we only exist because of HIS Manifold PATIENCE and MERCY!  If HE desires to reason with us, then let us be wise to LISTEN and act accordingly for there is no other way but HIS Way.  And the sooner we realize this, the sooner we will be joined together to serve and worship this All-Mighty GOD with ONE CONSENT and live in HIS PEACE ON THIS EARTH.

“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18

“Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey:  for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger:  for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

“For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.”   Zephaniah 3:8,9

Look at what “man” has done to this Earth by way of following the imaginations of his heart,  worshipping false gods and observing his own man-made religions, and doing things his defiled ways.  With this world in a complete state of mass confusion, chaos, destruction, hatred, death, evil, and insane terror and each one and all blaming the other for the demise of freedom and justice (when there is none), there is still hope for our survival.   But an end to this distress and grief and a return to the good life will only become a reality when GOD’s Chosen and all mankind seek to live by the very same “LIGHT” HE created for man to live by in Righteousness so very long ago.  Otherwise, even GOD’s Rebellious Chosen and the Gentiles who continue to reject HIM will fall during these troublous times in what’s called THE DAY OF THE LORD.

“Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

“For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

“And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.”   Isaiah 13:9 - 11

We will all, in one way or another, realize that the Most High GOD will prevail and will be victorious in being the GOD that will be Exalted above all others and will be the GOD to whom every knee will bow just as HE has said.

“I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow,

every tongue shall swear.”

Isaiah 45:3

“The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee:  but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light,

and thy God thy glory.”

Isaiah 60:19

Thus, we must learn now to seek this Creator, the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel and just as importantly, we must learn to LIVE HIS Laws, Statutes, and Judgments for we have no choice and no time to waste!

This Holy Day season, let us bear in mind the history of this world and the whole TRUTH of the matter regarding our being the people GOD has chosen to show forth HIS Praise.  In every respect, HE - the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel - is this everlasting “LIGHT” that will indeed shine throughout this world.  And those of us who fear HIM will follow HIS Ways and rejoice in serving and worshipping HIM as we cause this “LIGHT” to shine brighter and brighter in our lives and all for the love and magnification of the All-Mighty GOD of Israel.  We are the One People that GOD has chosen to bear HIS “LIGHT” FOREVER and if this is what the Most High GOD of Israel desires, then let us prepare our hearts to manifest HIS Truth before the world in Righteousness and in gladness of heart for HIS Holy Name’s Sake. 

“Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.”   Deuteronomy 10:15

“And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.”    Joel 2:27

May we soon observe our Holy Feast Days in Jerusalem where is placed HIS Name with much singing, rejoicing, and Exalting this Most High GOD of Israel.  And until that time, let us continuously pray to be returned to this our heritage where we will once again do sacrifices and give offerings in GOD’s Holy Temple in the Name of the Most High GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob our ONLY SAVIOR!

For those of us who truly Fear Our True and Living GOD, let us be blessed with answers to our prayers that HE will deliver us out of bondage just as HE saved our forefathers out of bondage down in Egypt.   We also pray that Our Holy ONE will deal with the Rulers of this World and call HIS Chosen Ones home to our heritage where HE will once again live among us and be Our GOD of gods and LORD of lords and where we will be a LIGHT to the World and show forth HIS Praise and Glory in Truth and in Righteousness FOREVER.

O TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD, OUR GOD OF ISRAEL, IS GOOD to all those who Fear and seek HIM in Truth and in Righteousness!!!   The Holy ONE was with Abram, and HE will be with us, as well if we will just turn to HIM with our whole heart.  I am a Witness!

Given these Scriptures, YOU MESSIANICS should realize that we should not be trusting in “man” - not any “man” for the Holy ONE of Israel is a JEALOUS GOD, and HE wants all the Praise and Glory for HIMSELF!  HE ALONE is Our SAVIOR, and there is none else:

“I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.”   Isaiah 43:11

FOR WHAT REASON DO WE NEED jc OR ANY ONE ELSE BUT YIHOVAH?

Our Righteous GOD gave us HIS Holy Book of the Law – not the “New Testament” that was established by “man” to support his man-made, very well organized and deceptive religion.

WE DO NOT NEED jc!!!

The TEACHINGS of the GOD of Israel are found in HIS Book of the Law, and in no way do HIS Teachings even parallel those of jc.  As a matter of fact, the “New Testament” and the teachings of jc were specifically written and embellished to REPLACE GOD’s Laws, Statutes, and Judgments - hence, the reason for the word “New” in the title of this book!

This is one of the greatest sins one can commit against the Most High GOD of Israel.  Not only is GOD’s Law to be kept “to a thousand generations” and “FOR EVERMORE” (Deuteronomy 7:9; II Kings 17:37), but no one can add to or diminish from all that the GOD of Israel has COMMANDED that we should observe to DO (Deuteronomy 12:32)!

Equally as important, “Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them, And all the people shall say, Amen” (Deuteronomy 27:26).  Perhaps jc wasn’t aware of this Law!

The “New Testament” and this “man” jc have not only added to GOD’s WORD, but they have disclaimed GOD’s Ordinances and changed them altogether!  

Every man/woman who serves and worships the All-Mighty GOD of Israel knows to Exalt ONLY HIM and HIS Book of the Law, for through meditating in this Righteous Book, one is made wise and, therefore, learns of GOD’s Truth and magnifies it and nothing else!

“And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.   Deuteronomy 32:46

“Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee:  turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:  for then thou shal make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”   Joshua 1:7,8

The Holy ONE of Israel wants HIS People to SERVE, TRUST, BELIEVE, HOPE, AND WORSHIP ONLY HIM!

“The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.”   Nahum 1:7

WE NEED THE SAME GOD THAT SAVED THE NATION OF ISRAEL OUT OF EGYPT

TO ONCE AGAIN

DELIVER US OUT OF OUR ENEMIES’ LANDS!!!

“Therefore, behold the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; But, The LORD liveth, that brougt up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driventhem:  and I will bring them again unto their land that I gave unto their fathers.” Jeremiah 16:14,15

MORE FACTS REGARDING SACRIFICES AND OFFERINGS TO YIHOVAH

By no means should the above “Sacrificial System” or the passages below be termed conclusive for our use in serving the Holy ONE of Israel.  Of the many passages in the TORAH and in GOD’s Word to HIS Prophets, only a few verses are listed (below) that might prove to be helpful in learning what’s written for our understanding of Sacrifices and Offerings to the All-Mighty GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and how we MUST SERVE and WORSHIP HIM on HIS Feast Days and other occasions.   For new students, this information is just taking it all to the next level, as this is most definitely wisdom we must take to heart and eventually realize for the Glory and Praise of Our Holy ONE.

“And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.  And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.  And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.  This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.  In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD's house shall be like the bowls before the altar. Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.”   Zechariah 14:16 - 19

THE DAY OF ATONEMENT

“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,  Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.  And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.  For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.  And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
