Are All Men Really “Created Equal”?

July 2nd, 2009 marked 45 years since President Lyndon Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act to initiate racial equality. This anniversary coincides with the recent Senate Resolution “Apologizing for the Enslavement and Racial Segregation of African-Americans,” which expressed America’s “recommitment to the principle that all people are created equal.” While these gestures appear impressive as political theory, in actuality, “Created Equal” on paper differs from “Created Equal” in practice.

Since Lincoln’s paperwork freed us in 1865 and Johnson’s paperwork dubbed us equal in 1964, it’s accurate to conclude that freedom and equality are not politically identical. And although “paper equality” traces to the Declaration of Independence in 1776, disparities cited in the Urban League’s State of Black America 2009, verify that racial equality is still a dream yet deferred. But if all people really are “Created Equal” why then has equality been a drip, drip, drip process for us?

Foremost, there’s probably no other phrase in world history that’s been more misconstrued than these 13 words of the Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.”

Beware and be aware whenever you hear this expression being quoted in isolation because, “Created EqualCreated Equal” does not standalone as a singular ideal unto itself. It rather is a supportive detail of a much larger political argument of Euro-Americans, intended to justify their rights and entitlements to “Sovereign Equality” with world governments and nations. Their aim, as the document continues, was to “Dissolve political bands” with their British kinfolk, and “Assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s GodGod entitle them.”

In no sense whatsoever does the document profess equality or civil rights sentiments as historically espoused by AfricanAfricans AmericansAfricans in America. But before anyone labels me divisive, I’m simply recounting the document’s historical circumstances and factual context, which inarguably petitions independence, not integration.

Race ultimately entered the document’s equation because, within America’s contrived expanse of nationbuilding, slavery and segregation were eco-political industries that were “too big to fail” . . . meaning that supplementary investments (more drips of equality) became necessary during the 1960s to further solidify our labor and loyalty. So, after centuries of policies that “prohibited civil rights,” the government flipped-the-script and craftily reinvented the interpretation of “Created Equal,” by concocting it into a modern-day integrationist slogan that seemingly “advocates civil rights.”

Johnson’s legislation brought tears of African-American joy, allowing the government to pat itself on the back with perceived credibility. Governments however, deserve no more “credit” for treating people civilly, than a man deserves “credit” for not battering his wife. Why? Because men should not abuse women in the first place, and honorable governments would never make people “struggle” for civil rights.

Like the “battered wife” syndrome when women treasure any relief, we comparatively emerged from a “battered history” syndrome where we naturally treasure the relief of civil rights. But there’s nothing extraordinary about civil rights. Civil rights are mere human decencies that should be intrinsic to all interrelations between every government and society. If after centuries, a people must still protest and prod a government over issues of civil rights, then – “They Are Not Equal” – they are in a massively unprincipled political relationship.

While well-financed groups like the 100-year-old NAACP and Tavis Smily’s State of the Black Union gather annually with national platforms, part of the collective agenda of all Black organizations should ascertain measurable, achievable standards of what constitutes “21st-Century Equality,” along with what this demands of the government and requires of ourselves.

This charge is necessary because the measures and responsibilities of freedom today exceed those of the 1860s and 1960s. Being equal-enough to sit in the front of a bus in the 1960s, is now more cosmetic, considering the ever-intricate webbings of geopolitics that grip Africa and control the oil, chromium, and rubber for its tires.

Also, contrary to “post-racial” notions that stem from Obama’s presidency, our pursuit of equality is gradually making us become more like Euro-Americans, instead of equal to them. The Black faces you see sprinkled within the Democratic hierarchy are not indicators of the Party’s “equal commitment” to African-American ideals of governance. They rather signify our “full commitment” to Euro-American practices of governance, including needless militarism and problematic foreign policies that, for example, lopsidedly support Israel unconditionally.

In a perfect world, equality would be God-given and never violated by governments. But in this imperfect world, certain governments create political pecking orders amongst people, where equality has cutoff points and greed supersedes God. The proof and paradox is that, African Americans find ourselves still needing equality from a “Christian” government with a Black president . . . while we patiently expect the diluted 1960s version of “Created Equal” to somehow yield enough drips to “justly undo” what centuries of the authentic version has “unjustly done.”

Tribute to the New Moon Revised:

The service of this solar/lunar calendar of TORAH READINGS is by definition using the “LIGHTS” of the sun and moon, according to Genesis 1:14, to number the “days” of each month. And the dark phases of the moon cooperatively and conveniently provide a break between the months. If there were no dark phases of the moon, we would have a tough time determining when one month ended and when another would begin. Hence, because the Commandment is to use the “Lights” in the Heavens for “Signs” for seasons, days, and years, the New Moon Crescent is what provides us with our first lights of each new month and these lights continue waxing and waning until they are diminished to the dark phases. And then in two to three days, the New Moon Crescent reappears again starting the First Day of another new month.

Realizing that even some Israelites use the dark phase of the moon to call the new month, I would like to add one obvious fact. By definition, there can only be a “New Moon,” per se, after the dark phase interval and when the New Moon Crescent reappears, thus, we understand the concept of having a “New” moon.

If the dark phase of the moon begins the First Day of the month, then when the New Moon Crescent is “Sighted” that could approximately be as far into the month as the Fourth Day, i.e., the appearance of the “Light” in the Heavens could possibly fall on the Fourth Day. It makes no sense to start to count the first dark phase of the moon as being the First Day of the month, as this process disregards the use of the “Light” in the Heavens to determine our “days,” as we are Commanded to do in Genesis 1:14. Consider what King David said in I Samuel 20:24: “…when the New Moon was come…” He had to be speaking about the New Moon Crescent, as we are unable to “Sight” the appearance of the dark phase or rather see it “come.”

It’s the absence of seeing the moon for forty-eight or more hours that enables us to identify the approaching Crescent “Sign” in the Heavens (mentioned in Genesis 1:14) that recognizes the moon as being “New.” And upon “Sighting” this “New” Crescent” we distinguish it as being the “New Moon” and the time of the New Month, as well.

PLEASE NOTE: The Hebrew New Year is also determined by the “LIGHTS” in the Heavens and not by the “sighting of barley,” as some Black Hebrew Israelites and European “Jews” advocate.

START THE NEW MOON WATCH ON THE EVENINGS OF

BY LOOKING IN THE “WEST” JUST ABOVE THE HORIZON.

The first “Sign” in the Heavens to provide the start of days, years and “seasons” can only begin with the “Sighting” of the New Moon Crescent - that which we can “see” in order for it to serve as a “Sign” and enable us to begin counting our days and months. Just imagine not being able to “see” the moon at all. How then could it be appointed for a “Sign” or for “seasons”?

“The natural thought might be that the moon is like a living being. It is born, grows, reaches maximum size, then fades and dies, going through all these stages in one month. Even today, we still talk of the thin crescent in the western sky as a new moon and the thin crescent in the eastern sky a month later as the old moon. Half way between is the full moon. As I explained earlier, this cycle of phases of the moon established the month as a unit of time, and the first calendars were based on this.” ISAAC ASIMOV’S GUIDE TO EARTH AND SPACE, pages 79 and 80

In that the King of Israel is supposed to be a “Righteous Judge” (II Chronicles 1:11), it stands to reason that he is also supposed to be a “Righteous Role Model.” Thus, if the King that GOD appoints over Israel observes a “feast” on the day of the New Moon, then wisdom tells the Nation of Israel to do likewise. King Saul and the anointed David observed this service (I Samuel 20th Chapter).

To their and our hurt our forefathers worshipped all manner of symbols: the sun, moon, stars, and images of gold and silver. To observe the “Sign” in the heavens as being the New Moon “Sighting” is NOT worshipping the moon, but rather it is doing as we are COMMANDED in Genesis 1:14:

“And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:”

Some people feel that the moon has no “light,” but according to GOD’s WORD to HIS Prophets, it most certainly does: Isaiah 13:10; Isaiah 30:26; Jeremiah 31:35; Ezekiel 32:7.

Numbers 10:10

Contrary to the belief of some Israelites, the moon does indeed shine! Even if the Moon shines with the aid of the sun, i.e., reflects the light of the sun, IT STILL SHINES! And the fact that Scripture attests to this fact, is what’s important: Isaiah 60:19; Jeremiah 31:35; and Ezekiel 32:7. Therefore, Genesis 1:14 is proof enough that we must use the shining New Moon Crescents as “…SIGNS, AND FOR SEASONS, AND FOR DAYS, AND FOR YEARS:”

Some Israelites, along with White Jews, use the dark phase of the moon to determine the start of a new month. If the dark phase of the moon lasts for “2-3 days,” then which of these days is supposed to be the distinguishing “Sign” that determines the First Day of the month? Or do we just arbitrarily select either/or depending on the imaginations of our hearts?

On the contrary, with the use of the sighted “Sign” of the New Moon Crescent in the Heavens we eliminate any confusion as to which day IS the First Day of the month.

“So David hid himself in the field: and WHEN THE NEW MOON WAS COME, the king sat him down to eat meat.” I Samuel 20:24

At the time of the dark phases of the moon (generally 2-3 days), as previously written, there is no “moon” in SIGHT. Therefore, I Samuel 20:24 sheds more light on Genesis 1:14. “WHEN THE NEW MOON WAS COME,” is clearly telling readers that this is a reference to a visible “Moon Crescent Sighting” - the light in the firmament…i.e., the “Sign” for (lunar) days. Thus, if we are to count all the lunar days (29.5) in a month, it only makes sense to start counting from the New Moon Crescent “when the New Moon was come” and NOT from the dark phases at the end of the month, which do not emit any “sign” or “light” in the heavens.

The only problem that presents itself when using the “New Moon Sighting” to call the First Day of the month is cloud coverage, as this prevents the ability to see the New Moon Crescent. Nonetheless, when “Sighted,” one can easily distinguish the New Moon Crescent from all the other phases due to its thin sliver and its low position in the heavens. And the reason is that no two days or rather phases of the visible moon are alike. Hence, to use the New Moon Crescent as the “Sign” in the heavens, as we are COMMANDED to do for our seasons, days, and years, negates the belief that the “commandment was given to the luminaries.” The “luminaries” fulfill GOD’s Commandments: the sun shines and the moon orbits the Earth. They have no need to determine seasons, days, and years. Hence, our New Moons are obviously of more spiritual significance to the Nation of Israel than we are aware. And for sure, the TRUTH concerning them are in GOD’s WORD to HIS Prophets/Seers - not the White Jews or other Gentiles. All we need do is use wisdom, discern what’s written in Scripture, accept it, and act accordingly!

“Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the LORD on the altar of the LORD, which he had built before the porch,

“Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.” II Chronicles 8:12,13

Unless there is an emergency, please try not to buy or sell on this day. Conduct all financial and business transactions prior to the day of the New Moon. Interesting enough, II Kings 4:23,24 constitutes the New Moon as being a day to seek “the man of God.” Although the New Moon is NOT a Day of Rest, Our GOD did set it aside for recognition:

“Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.” Psalm 81:3

“And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 66:23

“…When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn?…” Amos 8:5

Probably, the Scripture that most determines and clarifies the fact that our New Moons are Feast Days is Ezekiel 45:17:

“And it shall be the prince’s part to give burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the NEW MOONS, and in the Sabbaths, in ALL SOLEMNITIES of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the HOUSE OF ISRAEL.” (Caps. are mine.)

Unequivocally, our New Moons are included in these “SOLEMNITIES” mentioned in Ezekiel 45:17.

“Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the door of this gate before the LORD in the Sabbaths [Feasts – NOT 7th Day Sabbaths*] and in the NEW MOONS.” Ezekiel 46:3 (Brackets are mine.)

Thereby, this verse justifies the First Day of each month being our “Feast” Day. It should be realized that the Feast Days that Our GOD selected (Leviticus 23rd Chapter) are “Holy Convocations,” i.e., on these days we cannot do any work. However, because King Saul observed the New Moon as a Feast Day, we have every reason to do so, as well. We also have learned that our forefathers traveled to the Temple to worship the Holy ONE on the New Moon (II Kings 4:23; Ezekiel 45:17; and Ezekiel 46:1), and when HE has HIS Temple rebuilt, then we will again be able to resume this service and worship.

When we return to our heritage and worship YIHOVAH according to HIS Ways, then we can establish our own “Calendar of the Universe,” whereby, the days of the New Moon and all GOD’s Holy Days will be recognized by the whole entire World. And I am sure that it will be the desire of the Righteous Remnant and ALL the world to make a Feast to the Most High GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel every First Day of the Month.

ALSO, I believe that if Lot (Genesis 19:3) and Abraham (Genesis 21:8) can proclaim “Feasts,” then there is no stipulation for NOT establishing Feast Days, as we so desire. Therefore, to proclaim a feast to EXALT the Holy ONE of Israel on the First Day of each month is quite acceptable - given the Scripture (above) regarding worshipping Our LORD GOD of ISRAEL, Our SAVIOR, on the New Moons. We should know that throughout the Tanakh Hebrew Israelites called for “feasts” for various occasions. Therefore, we are within our rights to observe a Feast every New Moon to Our GOD, the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel. And those of us who love this WONDERFUL GOD and who choose HIM to EXALT HIM for being the ONLY LORD and SAVIOR can be at liberty to use the day of the New Moon to show forth HIS PRAISE in a “feast” and worship HIM in Jerusalem FOREVER.

“And Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and offered up burnt offerings, and offered peace offerings, and [he] made a feast to all his servants.”

and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.”

Exodus 31:17,18

Since we know for a fact that GOD’s Holy Seventh Day Sabbath is a “Sign” between HIM and Israel, why take any chance to profane it? Every passage about the Holy Sabbath of COMPLETE Rest stands strong in support of GOD’s Commandment to abide in our places on the Seventh Day (Exodus 16:29) – ever last one of them – including the passage in Jeremiah where we are Commanded to “Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the Sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;” Jeremiah 17:21 (Please read verses 21 to 27.)

Perhaps the wise thing to do would be to define the word “burden.” But more importantly, we need to determine whether or not Exodus 16:29 is a Commandment or not. And if it is determined to be one, then we should Fear the GOD of Israel and be obedient to what HE has Commanded of us.

“But the LORD, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power

and a stretched out arm, him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship,

and to him shall ye do sacrifice. And the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law,

and the commandment, which he wrote for you,

he shall observe to do for ever more;

and ye shall not fear other gods.”

II Kings 17:36,37

Why must we debate that which is clearly written for us to do and for very good reason, if we will only consider and think about it? The Holy ONE wants us to be first to observe HIS weekly Anniversary of Creation, which is to keep HIS Holy Seventh day at REST, as HE did, in order that we might be REFRESHED!

“See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.” Exodus 16:29

“Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.” Exodus 35:1,2

“Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation [“HOLY DAY”]; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.” Leviticus 23:3

“Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.” Exodus 31:15 - 17

“And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.” Genesis 2:2,3

Significantly, in the beginning when the Holy ONE of Israel established this Sabbath Day of COMPLETE REST and when HE clearly COMMANDED the Children of Israel in the Wilderness to observe this Holy Day, HE MADE NO EXCEPTIONS!

If “ALL” GOD’s COMMANDMENTS are sure, then for sure, we must give credence to Exodus 16:29 and abide in our places on GOD’s HOLY Seventh Day of Complete REST as we are COMMANDED TO DO!

“He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen. The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.” Psalm 111:7

GOD’s Holy Seventh Day Sabbath of REST is not only one of HIS Greatest WORKS of all time, but this Holy Day is an extraordinary “SIGN” between this Most High GOD, the CREATOR and HIS Chosen People, the Children of Israel! This Seventh Day also marks the Anniversary of GOD ending the Creations of the Heavens, Earth, man, and all that is therein.

“Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.” Genesis 2:1 - 3

“And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, Tomorrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake today, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.

“See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.” Exodus 16:23,29

“And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.” Exodus 24:12

“Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should DO SO IN THE LAND whither ye go to possess it.” Deuteronomy 4:5 (Caps. are mine.)

CONSIDER ALSO the fact that the CREATOR GOD of Israel only Commanded that we go to Jerusalem “THREE TIMES in the year”. Had the Holy ONE wanted us to travel to Jerusalem on HIS Holy Sabbath Day of COMPLETE REST, HE would have Commanded that, as well. Thus, given Exodus 16:29, we have to realize, understand, and accept the fact that it was never HIS intention for us to travel and/or leave our places on HIS most Holy Seventh Day.

“Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year. Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:) And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.” Exodus 23:14 - 17

“Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast” Deuteronomy 16:16

There is no Scripture indicating that Israelites traveled to Jerusalem on GOD’s HALLOWED SEVENTH DAY.

THE PLACE THAT OUR GOD OF ISRAEL CHOSE IS THE HOLY CITY JERUSALEM.

The Israelite Way of Life was set in stone in the Wilderness, as to how we are Commanded to prepare to live according to ALL GOD’s LAW, as well as for HIS Holy Seventh Day Sabbath of Complete REST, i.e., how we are supposed to keep it, as well as the consequences for profaning it. And there are no exceptions.

CONCERNING “HOLY CONVOCATION”

The issue stemming from the meaning of “Holy Convocation” written in Leviticus 23^rd Chapter is real, and the interpretation is grossly misunderstood. “Holy Convocation” does not mean “To Gather.” And the sin committed by traveling and gathering on the CREATOR’s Holy Sabbath of Complete REST has grave consequences (Exodus 31:12 - 18).

Conclusive evidence that “holy convocation” DOES NOT mean to assemble is provided in the passage on Passover. In Exodus 12:16 we are told that Passover is a “holy convocation” but yet, we are Commanded to observe this High Holy Day with our immediate families and only to join with another family if one’s members are too few for the lamb (Exodus 12:4). This proves without a doubt that “holy convocation” cannot mean to assemble, but rather to keep the holy days “HOLY.” Some call attention to the fact that because Israelites were Commanded to ”…turn in the morning and go into their tents” (Deuteronomy 16:5-7) that this is proof of an assembly. Those Israelite families that joined with others are the ones GOD Commanded to return to their tents.

The Holy ONE of Israel DOES NOT contradict HIMSELF! HE would not COMMAND us to “Rest” on the Sabbath Day of Rest and also Command us to “abide ye every man in your place on the seventh day,” and then confuse us by telling us to “assemble” on the “rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD.” This would make absolutely no sense whatsoever. Therefore, if the Holy ONE of Israel said don’t bear a burden on the Sabbath Day of Rest (Jeremiah 17:21,22) and that our asses (used for travel) had to also rest, then for sure we have to “abide in our places…on the seventh day.” Thus, using our cars and paying tolls and public transportation on GOD’s Holy Seventh Day of Rest is absolutely forbidden! And walking to the Temple or to any meeting place was and still is out of the question all because GOD’s Seventh Day is specifically to be kept as a DAY of “COMPLETE REST” - Shabatone (as is written in Hebrew).

The wise, obedient ones understand the great importance of observing this Seventh Day of Rest exactly as GOD Commanded and will not add to or diminish from this Law of the “Blessed,” “Sanctified,” and “Holy” Seventh Day Sabbath.

The Major Side Effects of Statin Drugs

While the FDA has deemed statins to be safe to use for their intended purpose, no drug is totally without side effects in susceptible individuals. As the use of statin drugs continues to increase and people have been taking statins for a prolonged period that is significantly longer than the time period required for testing drugs, the side effects of statins affects more people than ever before.

Since the drug companies that manufacture statins have become aware of the incidence of serious side effects, they added a warning to statin advertising that was not present in the earliest advertising. This warning states, “Unexplained muscle pain and weakness could be a sign of a rare but serious side effect and should be reported to your doctor right away.” People who take statin drugs need to heed this warning immediately because in extreme cases the side effects of statins can be fatal.

Muscle pain and muscle weakness are two of the main side effects of statin drugs. While muscle pain and muscle weakness sound ordinary enough, due to the manner in which statin side effects can act in the body they are potentially dangerous side effects of statin use. Another is memory loss. Anyone who is taking statin drugs for any reason should be aware of these side effects and their symptoms. The medical establishment recommends that anyone who suspects they are experiencing any of the possible statin side effects consult with their medical professional.

#Muscle Pain and Rhabdomyolysis

Muscle symptoms are a common side effect of statins; many people experience aching in the shoulders, pain in the jaw, or muscle pain in the legs. The muscle pain is a symptom muscle breakdown that is occurring in the body due to the side effect of the statin drug. When tissues break down, the body must eliminate the excess waste products.

The waste products then overload the kidneys, causing more serious problems. Rhabdomyolysis (often called rhabdo for short) is the medical term for the breakdown of muscle fibers that results in the release of muscle fiber contents into the bloodstream. Besides muscle pain, the other major symptom of rhabdomyolysis is dark, red, or cola colored urine.

Severe rhabdomyolysis can result in death from acute kidney failure due to overload of the kidneys with deteriorated muscle tissue. If fact, the cholesterol lowering drug Baycol was removed from the market after being implicated in over 60 deaths due to rhabdomyolysis. However, rhabdomyolysis remains a dangerous side effect of statins in general.

According to the FDA MEDWATCH Reporting System, over 3300 cases of statin-associated rhabdomyolysis were reported between January 1, 1990, and March 31, 2002. Researchers estimate that between 1% and 5% of statin users will experience muscle pain and weakness as a side effect. While most people who experience muscle pain will return to normal after discontinuing statin use, some susceptible individuals suffer permanent muscle damage from statin use. Dr. Gregg C. Fonarow, UCLA professoer of cardiology, was recently quoted as saying between 2% and 8% of statin patients report muscle pain. A 2008 study of in vitro muscle cells exposed to simvastatin found that at a dose equivalent to 40 mg/day, new muscle cell growth was reduced by 50%. While this does not translate directly to how statins work inside the body, it does provide scientists proof that statins directly affect muscles.

#Muscle Weakness and Neuropathy

While we joke about how things get on our nerves, nerves are real fibers in the body that send signals to control the movement of muscles and the functioning of organs. To review some basic anatomy, the human nervous system consists of the central nervous system, which is just the brain and the spinal cord, and the peripheral nervous system, which contains all the other nerves. The peripheral nervous system controls autonomic (that is, automatic) functions of the body like breathing and heartbeat.

Neuropathy, short for peripheral neuropathy, simply means a malfunction of the peripheral nervous system that occurs without any inflammation of the nerves. There are many causes of neuropathy, including injury to the nerves caused for example by an accident or various diseases like diabetes and kidney problems. The occurrence of toxic or poisonous substances in the body is another one of the ways neuropathy occurs.

There are over 100 types of neuropathy, each with its own cluster of symptoms that can be diagnosed by a neurologist. For susceptible individuals, the use of a statin drug can interfere with proper functioning of the peripheral nerves. Researchers assume that the build-up of statins in the body causes neuropathy in some individuals.

Muscle weakness is frequently a symptom of neuropathy and the muscle weakness may develop in a matter of days or may slowly progress over weeks or months. Individuals may simply not recognize the progressive muscle weakness and excuse the symptoms away as the result of being tired, overdoing or just getting older. For those who take statins, keep muscle weakness in mind as it “could be a sign of a rare but serious side effect.”

Other symptoms of neuropathy include: numbness, tingling, and pricking sensations; burning pain (especially at night); and/or sensitivity to touch. If left undiagnosed, neuropathy can lead to deterioration of the muscles and paralysis. Remember that we all need throat muscles to swallow, chest muscles to breathe, and that the heart is a muscle. In the extreme, severe neuropathy as a side effect to statin use can lead to death.

Some researchers estimate the 1 in 10 people who take statin drugs will experience a mild form of neuropathy where the symptoms may be a feeling of tiredness, difficulty in arising from a low chair or getting out of bed, shortness of breath or difficulty walking.

Small countries like Demark or Iceland are great for studying medical conditions. Because the population is genetically similar as opposed to the vast melting pot of the United States, it is easier to conduct a controlled study. A famous Danish study of neuropathy as a side effect to statin use concluded that an individual who is a long-term user of statin drugs has anywhere from 4 to 14 times greater risk of developing peripheral neuropathy than a person who does not take statin drugs. Typically, long-term use of statins is defined as 2 years or more but neuropathy can occur even after just a few days of use in a susceptible individual.

#Memory Loss

Some people experience memory loss, report an inability to concentrate as well, and feel that they are developing Alzheimer’s disease when taking statin drugs. (Conincidentally, a new study suggests that simvastatin (Zocor) actually lowers the risk of Parkinson's and Alzheimer’s diseases.) This memory loss may be so extreme as to be amnesia that lasts for 6 to 12 hours. These types of problems are known as cognitive defects. Other people claim to experience mood swings and other behavioral changes when taking statins. These differences in behavior are not just subjective feelings on the part of the individual but tend to be corroborated by family members.

There are cases of cognitive difficulty that have been reported to the FDA as adverse side effects to statins. A systematic review of the cases reported to the FDA determined that approximately half of the memory loss problems occurred within 60 days of starting on statin therapy, although memory problems were reported after taking a statin drug for just 5 days. Fortunately most people return to normal after discontinuing the statin drug. The time until recovery appears to be related to the amount of time before the cognitive symptoms appeared; that is, the longer it took for the symptoms to appear, the longer it took for the person to recover. However, a small group may continue to suffer with cognitive problems, perhaps indefinitely.

The risk of experiencing memory problems while taking statins did show up in the first clinical trials of statins but memory loss occurred in less than half of one percent of the people in the clinical trials. Meanwhile, about 2 percent of the cases of side effects of statins reported to the FDA at the time these cases were studied concerned cognitive problems including memory loss.

There are two other points to consider. One is that amnesia used to be a rare phenomenon, especially transient global amnesia (TGA) where individuals can forget major details of their lives for hours only to return to normal until the next episode. Yet TGA is occurring with increased frequency. At the other end of the spectrum, it may be impossible to measure how many people who are taking statins simply ignore smaller lapses of memory or lack of attention. At this point in time, current research does not have an estimate of the incidence of memory loss associated with statin use in the general population.

A recent study raises the possibility that statins increase the risk of delerium in patients after surgery. Researchers at the University of Toronto looked at data from 284,000 people after surgery. Delerium is known to be underdiagnosed in these cases, but the researchers estimated that it occurs after 10% of all surgical procedures, and after 13% of procedures in people taking statins. Because delerium can reduce recovery time, this is an area of concern. The hypothesis is that the statins cause blood flow to the brain to reduce in favor of flow to the heart, although there is no firm evidence that this is happening. The researchers admitted that more work is needed to answer questions regarding surgery and statins, and they did not recommend stopping statins before surgery until more is known.

Have you started that “Walking” for weight loss and healthy heart routine, yet? There is no excuse for not going it alone, joining with someone, or even forming a group to take that walk at least five (5) times a week and for 40 minutes minimum. So, stop procrastinating and get started. Walk to the tune of Scripture or your favorite upbeat music. And if you prefer the quiet, walk and meditate with the Most High. Just make sure that you make time for your body and soul. You’ll see and feel the difference after just two weeks.

THE 52-WEIGHT-LOSS DIET PLAN

Recently, I heard on the news that soon people will be spending a dollar out of every five for medical expenses. But if we are healthy, we don’t have to fall prey to this reckoning. As we grow older, we gain weight. I am a witness! And guess what? We do not need this extra load we are carrying. Therefore, I am doing something about it.

My friend and I have decided to embark upon a Weight-Loss Plan to lose 52 pounds in one year. We have started by promising to lose one pound a week. Thus, we hope to lose 52 pounds by the second week in February 2007. We have already started, but it’s not too late for YOU to join with us. So, hop on board and be a NEW HEALTHIER, LIGHTER WEIGHT this time next year!

Some of the things we plan to do are:

-limit our intake of “white” foods: rice, bread, potatoes, ice cream, sugar, etc.

-eliminate fast foods and processed foods

-walk at least 3 days a week

-do not eat after 8 P.M. – drink green tea with mint

-eat more fruits and veggies

-bake rather than fry our meats

-drink plenty of water and tea

-weigh in every Tuesday and E-mail the other party the new weight status

A weekly journal is kept of weight lost or gained. And there is no fair or fun cheating.

If you do not need to lose 52 pounds, then adjust the plan to the amount of pounds to lose and time frame appropriate for you. If you need any help, let me know.

List your name, the date you started and the weight you lose each week, or if you prefer to only post periodically, then list the date you started and the amount you lost. OPEN LETTER TO THE MOST HIGH CREATOR GOD OF ISRAEL:

GOD OF ABRAHAM, hear me; please hear me, Father. The nations you have raised up have dominion over us and the world, and of a truth, we suffer great afflictions and many endless troubles.

How long, GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, will YOU allow the Rulers of this world to continue to procreate and corrupt Your Heaven and Earth?

Your beautiful CREATIONS of Heaven and Earth were all “Good” - everything formed YOU made perfectly: the sun, moon, stars, landforms, waters, plants, animals, and mankind - and without fault. All by yourself and with the breath of your Mouth, these Creations, impossible for any man to duplicate, YOU ALONE made a reality. And yet, today, the world does not know YOU!!!

The first man that YOU formed from “the dust of the ground”, Adam and the first woman, Eve were rebellious and did not fear YOU. And because of their disobedience and long suffering punishments that still exist today, we should remember that there are consequences to be paid when we sin against YOU.

The generations that followed Adam did not have it in their hearts to obey and avoid wickedness for they followed the imaginations of their hearts rather than Your Plans that they must walk with YOU. The people of Noah’s generation were worse than were Adam and Eve. For their sins, their punishment was utter destruction for no one but Noah and his family came out of this deadly Flood that covered the entire Earth. That was the price these people and life paid for not fearing YOU to obey and be “just and perfect in their generations” to walk with YOU, their CREATOR.

Still, generations later after the Flood, YOU continued to demonstrate punishment for sin, wickedness, and evil. And during these times, as more and more peoples and nations began to populate Your Earth, fewer knew YOU, Feared YOU, or Obeyed YOU!!!

As a result, the Planet YOU Created for the habitation of mankind is now bathed in violence, corruption, blood, hatred, sorrow, misery, and much unhappiness. When will all this desolation and despair end?

The people YOU chose for Your Praise also were caught up in the wickedness of this world and sought to fulfill the imaginations of their hearts, which were to do evil and worship gods made by the hands of man. Even they would not seek to Know, Fear, and Obey YOU!!! They left off living according to Your Righteous Ways and turned to the life and ways of the heathen.

“…ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD,

but serve the LORD with all your heart;

And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things,

which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain.”

I Samuel 12:20,21

Then, YOU made Your Holy Land, Israel, desolate and scattered Your Chosen Ones - the SEED of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Your Covenant People. When YOU cast them into the hands of the worst of the heathen, YOU made sure that the Children of Israel would suffer untold hardships for forsaking YOU and for choosing false gods. With unconscionable cruelty, Israel’s captors ruled with yokes and whips and with affliction and horrible suffering and caused the identity of the true Israelites to be forgotten.

The heathen cared not about Your Ways, GOD of Israel, and Your Children of Israel they took as Slaves and defiled Your Holy Land unto this day. Your Ways of Righteousness, the heathen have also changed and replaced them with their own religions that serve no purpose but to deceive in order that the reign of the Gentiles will continue forever. Because of their changing history for their own agenda, now, the world does not know YOU, does not seek YOU, and, therefore, cannot Fear YOU.

If the heathen, YOU have established to rule the world because of the sins of the Children of Israel, have completely changed Your Ordinances to further their scheme to deceive, then of course, there will be no Truth of Your Holy Name and Fear of YOU around the world.

There is no King of Israel of the seed of David to represent the Majesty of Your Greatness and Your Holy Name and the reflection of all your CREATIONS, including Your Glorious LAW.

There are none of Your Righteous Pastors to speak of Your Righteous Ways and Paths that all peoples, Israelites and the Stranger, must follow if this world will enjoy Your Peace and Happiness.

There are none of Your Priests, the Levites, to sacrifice unto YOU in the place YOU chose - Jerusalem - for Your Holy Name and where YOU chose to be worshipped and Praised on days of Thanksgiving.

There are none to sing songs in celebration and Praise of Your existence, Your Mighty Acts, Your Holy Land, Your Holy Days, Your Great and Holy Name, and Your unconditional love for Your Covenant People, the Children of Israel.

Only YOU can change all this corruption, fraud, and false worship, Heavenly Father and CREATOR of this Universe. Only YOU can call attention to Yourself. Only YOU can make Your Chosen Ones, the SEED of Jacob and the peoples of this world to know YOU to Fear YOU to Obey Your Righteous Laws, Statutes, and Judgments.

YOU did not Create the Heavens and the Earth for it to evolve into this evil and wicked state. False gods abound because YOU have remained quiet resulting from the sins of Israel and the curses YOU manifest upon them. For your Exaltation and Glory, end these transgressions and abominations. Show all mankind that the CREATOR GOD is the GOD of Israel and is not an image or a man but is a Great GOD of Power and ONE to be FEARED and OBEYED and WORSHIPPED. Show all mankind that Your Earth was formed for mankind to live on it and walk on it in Your LIGHT, AS DID Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Make haste, GOD of Israel, again reveal Your Truth and establish knowledge of your Righteous Ways, so that Your Righteousness will bring about absolute worship of YOU and none other idol, image, or man. Make haste, O GOD of Heaven and Earth, GOD of Hosts, to destroy all false gods and obliterate the memory of their doctrines.

Correct the heathen for his evil intentions, as only YOU can, LORD GOD of Israel, in order that they and their wickedness will no longer exist. Again end the sin and decadence, but this time, save all who will seek to know YOU and Fear YOU to be Obedient to the Righteous Way of Life YOU Created even at the time of CREATION that enabled Noah to find “Grace in Your Eyes”. Make haste, LORD GOD of Israel, take back Your Earth and return it to the perfection of Glory and grandeur just as it was in the Day YOU rested after CREATION!!!

Remember Your promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and re-establish the Children of Israel who have been scattered throughout the world to serve their enemies. Your people who know YOU and who seek to follow Your Ways of Righteousness are now ready to obey and more than ready to return under the umbrella of the LAW to show forth Your Praise in order that the world will be cleansed of all its plagues, mourning, pollution, and innumerable perils.

YOU kept Your promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob once in giving the Nation of Israel the Land of Canaan and even the lands East of the Jordan River under Joshua. YOU did not lie, Father of Abraham, and the Land of Israel yet stands Witness to the Truth of Your WORDS. Therefore, the SEED of Jacob has good reason to believe that Your promises are sure, and that YOU will gather the Remnant of Jacob and once again establish the Children of Israel in the Lands YOU gave to our forefathers. Surely, we believe, Father of Abraham, but of a truth, evidence of Your promises are nowhere yet to be seen. Give us reason to believe so that all Israel will prepare to “Flee Babylon” and all the lands of our captivity and go home. Help us, Father, so that we will know that YOU are indeed with us to fulfill Your WORD at the mouth of your Prophets.

Today, Your Land is controlled by our enemies, a people who have in our absence taken on our identity and refused us entry into the Land YOU gave to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and to their SEED. They convert Gentiles to “Jews”, settle them in our Land, and reject the Israelites of true Hebrew-Israelite pedigree. And they have written their own ways of worship in order that Your True Laws, Statutes, and Judgments are masked with deception so that they will deceive the “Dry Bones” of the scattered Israelites. But, Father of Jacob, they do have the power. They do have Your Land, and they profane Your Righteous Laws, Statutes, and Judgments and defile Your Holy Sabbath Day. They do not Fear YOU, and they do not believe that what Your Prophets have written will come to pass. They believe that they will rule Your Land and do with it as they please.

See, Father of Israel, the corrupt deeds of these powers-that-be and how they have changed Your Ordinances, how they are involved in everything evil and wicked, and how they reject everything of Your Righteous WORD. In their control of the world, they have no reason to seek YOU, LORD GOD of Hosts, to Fear YOU, and to be Obedient to Your Ways of Righteousness.

THEREFORE, CREATOR GOD OF ISRAEL, RETURN and end our pain and suffering. Destroy the wicked and those who will not live according to Your Ways of Righteousness. Let the Children of Israel and all who desire to worship YOU in Truth live to Worship and Exalt YOU and Your Holy Name, Dear GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel. Make haste, Heavenly Father, to call attention to yourself, so that the world will learn the Truth in order to believe Your WORD and Worship YOU according to the Ways YOU have ordained.

ONLY YOU, GOD of Israel, can define and establish True Salvation for Your scattered Covenant People. Only YOU, CREATOR GOD of Israel, can change this present world system that has no regard for Your Paths of Righteousness, the poor, the fatherless, and the widow. Only YOU, CREATOR GOD can bring back the integrity of Your Covenant People and Your Righteous LAW.

GOD OF ISRAEL, why allow yourself to be forgotten and the remembrance of Your Wondrous Works to be overshadowed by false religions? Why allow Your Great Acts of renown to lie dormant and forgotten? Why allow the wicked of this world to continue to exist in all the magnificent Creations produced by Your Mighty Hands, specifically for Your Glory and for Your Esteem? Why, GOD of Israel, allow Your promises to Abraham to go unfulfilled, now, when Your People have returned to YOU and when knowledge of Your Righteous Way of Life and Truth are revealed and exposed?

There are no signs today of people in the world seeking to turn to YOU with their whole heart in sincerity and desiring to follow Your Truth. Even the “affliction” that is to cause Israel’s return to YOU seems to bear little credence, for indeed Your people suffer and die from violence, sickness, and ghetto life.

REVEAL YOUR HAND TO THE WORLD, ALL-MIGHTY GOD OF JACOB. Bring on the Day of the LORD - Your Wrath - for only then will this Great Destruction end the Hell on Your Earth and encourage those who do know YOU to Fear YOU and seek to learn Your LAW to be obedient to Your Ways forever. Only then will the Children of Israel and those who remain worship YOU in Righteousness.

HEAR ME, O GOD OF ISRAEL. Let the world learn the Truth. Let the world know that YOU, the CREATOR GOD, ALONE, are the ONE True and Living GOD, and that there is none else. Return to the Place YOU established for your Holy Name and for Your Praise. Return to those of us who love YOU and who have made YOU Our GOD. Return, GOD of Israel, and we will have YOU rejoice when YOU see our devotion and our trust in Your Holy Name.

LET US KNOW YOU. Teach those of us who desire to live Your Laws, Statutes, and Judgments, and we will obey, GOD of Israel, for YOU ALONE are our True SAVIOR. YOU only saved the Children of Israel, countless times, out of the hands of their enemies and gave them safety from their enemies. If people want to exist, then all must live according to Your Rule of Life - Your Book of the Law. ON JUDGE SONIA SOTOMAYOR

LET’S CALL A SPADE A SPADE!

The very arrogant people who denounce Judge Sonia Sotomayor are the epitome of exactly what defines racism in this country. Though they reject her statement about Latina women being better able to make decisions than White men, they know and understand very well her reasoning for making it. And though the facts prove Judge Sotomayor to have obvious evidence for her claim, they have the audacity to be offended by this obvious truth.

The discrimination, prejudice, and injustice against minorities in the United States permeates the social, economical, and political systems without compassion. The more than not lily-white senate, the unpassed Bill H.R. 40 that Congressman Conyers has submitted annually since 1989 that has not be accepted or recognized, the long awaited apology for the barbaric Slave Trade - the worst crime against Black humanity on record, and the depravation of the poor nations in Central America and in the Caribbean all speak volumes in support of the Judge’s claim.

Wise Latina women would make better decisions than White men because it is the latter who are the powers-that-be and who have been since the birth of Colonial America and the United States but who have not been a voice or a help for minorities to end their plight. Because it is the White men who see the impoverished and who have done nothing about it, it is obvious that they are the ones who have dictated the fate of the destitute. Nothing in their power has manifest to better the lives of the impoverished and alleviate the dirt poor in the United States or in the poor nations surrounding this country that is said to be the “Greatest Nation in the World” but rather only to sustain the despair and misery that prevails.

Rich White men in government have not walked in the shoes of minorities and much less Latina women and would rather die than do so. Latina women would know exactly what to do to end the racism and the pain and suffering of the poor.

Therefore, Judge Sotomayor is absolutely on point with her statement. She was most accurate and honest with her assessment, but unfortunately, she was renounced because of its truth. Moreover, the sad and harmful state of affairs regarding the status quo will continue and of that, we can be sure.

SENATE HEARINGS ON JUDGE SONIA SOTOMAYOR

I just watched three days of an insane and intense agenda of White powers-that-be questioning President Obama’s appointed candidate Judge Sonia Sotomayor’s for Justice of the Supreme Court on her integrity to be a fair in this capacity. Absolutely AMAZING! Someone needs to question them on their horrible track record and their racism and discrimination that boasts of arrogance and supremacy.

I cannot help but recall that like these senators, so also were the Slave Masters Christians and without any regard and much less respect for minorities. Judge Sotomayor has impeccable credentials, and without question, more impressive than the senators who so insensitively questioned her. The truth of the matter is that minorities cannot duck racism, even when its identity rears its ugly head in Senate Hearings.

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA AT THE NAACP

President Obama recently spoke before the NAACP and was hard and heavy on advising African Americans to take charge of their destiny and to raise their children accordingly. He told parents to tell their kids to “aim high and don’t give up”. I believe it was Bill Cosby first to come down so hard on Black folks, and now it’s the President of the US to reiterate the same advice but in a kinder way.

The counsel is good, but O how I wish the same zeal would be lectured to White folks on racism and double standards who have the control but who have no regard for eliminating prejudice and discrimination in the job market and everywhere else in this society. Let Bill Cosby and President Obama speak out before the Congress and Senate regarding the ubiquitous discrimination in this country that impacts on minorities and regarding improving the educational system in urban areas and in the ghettoes. And let it all take place on national television, just as their speeches were made to Blacks. Hey, one never knows. Some Whites might take notice and realize the error of their ways and put a halt to the racism that prevails in this GOD-forsaken place. Wishful thinking? Probably.

It’s so sad and depressing to see the mentally ill walking the streets, to see the young Black men and women who have lost all their self-esteem and fail to realize their mistakes in life, sad to learn about the Blacks who have chosen prisons for home, disheartening to see the young brothers making babies and leaving them to chance to repeat their evil and immoral lifestyles, and even sadder especially to see those who walk in gross darkness not knowing their identity and not knowing the True and Living GOD and who are without positive goals to rise above violence, crime, drugs, and alcohol abuse. They see this life of impoverishment and Sundays in church without any changes for the better and nothing whatsoever to rejoice about. They live with grief and mourning day in and day out with one thing that is sure - the other shoe will drop bringing first one problem and then another. These young Blacks believe that all Blacks have to look forward to is what the White man has to offer. But this is not true!

If only Blacks and all people who despair will turn to the True GOD of the “Old Testament”, instead of this man called JC, then they would know the Truth of the conditions holding them in these hard and troubled times. If only they would give this GOD of Abraham and Moses an opportunity to show them what’s required of them to get out of this dilemma. Then, if they are sincere, HE would for sure open their eyes and show them that there is a GOD, and that Black folks do have reason to hope. But HE has been absent from their lives because of the great sins of the Children of Israel for their worshipping false gods and for rejecting HIS Righteous Way of Life (Leviticus 26^th and Deuteronomy 28^th Chapters). These young men and women also need to know that if the GOD of Israel has awakened the “Dry Bones” and shown them their identity that that is for a reason.

All the SEED of Jacob must cry out in fasting and in prayer, just as our forefathers did when GOD cast them into the hands of their enemies for their sins against HIM and be contrite in asking for Deliverance. The GOD of Israel repented then, and HE will do so again, if we will only turn to HIM.

“Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God? Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:” Joel 2:12 - 15

“I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee. Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel. For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard. My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him. Let Blacks, men and women, live in dignity and respect for self and above all live in RIGHTEOUSNESS:

For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for? And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day? Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons; Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.” Deuteronomy 4:5 - 10

THE SMOKESCREEN

We can assume the Universe was established by a “Big Bang,” or we can seek a more intelligent theory.

The more intelligent reasoning is that a Supreme Being did in fact Create the Heavens, Earth, and all things therein. Then the issue becomes, “Did this Supreme Being intend for HIS CREATION to exist in such a chaotic state of absolute Hell, as it is now?” If not, then it is incumbent upon us to seek answers for the present horrific state of affairs in the Land of Israel and the rest of the Middle East that is capable of spreading to other countries even to the United States.

It is not likely that this Supreme Being did not advise the people of HIS Creation IN THE BEGINNING of how to live in goodness and in peace with each other, which certainly entailed how to worship HIM for giving them life. For there not to exist harmony and happiness on this Earth, it is evident that from the looks of things and from the ever-present catastrophic events taking place on Earth, this Supreme Being is furious with the peoples HE Created.

This is where we are now. The CREATOR is Judging the peoples of HIS Creation and is taking back HIS Universe.

History proves that Jerusalem is the Holy City of the GOD of Israel, that the Israelites are HIS Chosen, Covenant People, and that the Land of Israel belongs to HIM, as well. So, why all the attention given to this area of the world that is proving to be the catalyst leading to the end of this present world system?

The Palestinians have been in the land since the reign of King Saul, and the European Israelis have been a State since 1948, opening their doors to other converted Europeans and whomsoever else wishing to take part in this Talmudic process and live off the fat of GOD’s Holy Land. The Palestinians and the Israelis have been at war ever since. If these two groups can live together anywhere in the world except in Israel, then there must be a very good reason why. However, the reason is not one that Israelis desire to make public. Israeli hatred of the Arabs is not at all the issue. There exists a more profound reason than that. Finger pointing at the Arabs is but the ubiquitous smokescreen presented to the world.

THE TRUTH ABOUT CONVERSION TO SO-CALLED “JUDAISM”

The world should connect the dots and learn the truth regarding the Europeans who control GOD’s Holy Land. There is no way the GOD of Israel will accept a conversion process that changes Europeans, Americans, and Middle Easterners into “Jews.” GOD’s Covenant is with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and their SEED. Accordingly, how can we dismiss the fact that Abraham was called out of Ur of the Chaldeans – NOT out of Europe. GOD well knows HIS Chosen People, no matter that HE took their identity from them and cast them from HIS Land.

And their being scattered into the “Four Corners of the Earth” to serve their enemies has everything to do with the problems in the Middle East, as this crisis relates to the CREATOR GOD taking back HIS Universe, HIS Holy Land, HIS Holy City, and HIS Chosen People. The Israelis know this. They see the handwriting on the wall, but they are fighting the CREATOR GOD tooth and nail. That’s what this war is all about - Israeli control - to keep out the SEED of Jacob whom GOD is calling home. Hence, the Israelis, even if time permitted, would not give the Palestinians their State for fear the Israelites would seek to live there also. And just for the record, one can learn about the true identity of the descendants of Jacob by reading what the CREATOR GOD of Israel said would befall them in Leviticus 26^th and Deuteronomy 28^th Chapters.

The Israelis have a rabid requirement to control all the Land of Israel including the Palestinian territories for one reason and for one reason only, which has everything to do with their “Law of Return.” The Israelis and their Rabbinute (their religious party) are ever aware that the CREATOR GOD of Israel has a Covenant People – The Twelve Tribes of Jacob, and they know that according to Biblical Prophecy the CREATOR GOD of the Land of Israel and this Universe will restore HIS Chosen People to their heritage. For obvious reasons, in no way do the Israelis (European converts to what’s called “Judaism,” which is of their own making) want this to happen, for then they will no longer have control of the Land of Israel at all. However, they know their days are numbered.

“Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame. But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come. For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown: And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded:”

Ezekiel 36:7 – 10

Now, the Truth is out. This is the reason for the decades of turmoil, death, and destruction over GOD’s Holy Land. And of a Truth, the Israeli powers-that-be have no qualms about their dilemma. They are prepared to fight to the end, but who are they really fighting? It all has to do with what prophecy foretells, and what must be fulfilled.

Conversely, Israelis are putting too much false hope in their military powers. When it comes to the Children of Israel, the CREATOR GOD fights their battles, and since it is time for their return, there is nothing Israeli’ weaponry can do to stop GOD’s Commandment from manifesting.

The Israelites were formed to show forth GOD’s Praise and to be a light to the world for HIS Ways of Righteousness – HIS Book of the Law (the teachings of the Prophet Moses – NOT the Talmud compiled by European “Jews”).

“Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;”

Isaiah 42:5,6

“This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.” Isaiah 43:21

And it is for this reason the Supreme Being, or rather the CREATOR GOD of Israel is taking back HIS magnificent Universe and making it a place of Divine Peace, one that Exalts and Magnifies HIM for all HIS Wondrous Works.

The CREATOR GOD has held HIS Peace for a very long time, all because of the curses HE put on HIS Chosen People for forsaking HIM for false gods and for rejecting HIS LAW. Their rebellion caused GOD to cast HIS People into the hands of the heathen, and HE went into seclusion permitting Gentiles to run the world and teach HIS People a lesson that would send them running back to HIM seeking forgiveness with contrite spirits.

“I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.” Isaiah 42:14

For a long time people believed that the European “Jews” were really the people of the Bible, but the CREATOR knows HIS Chosen People, the SEED of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the men with whom HE made an Everlasting Covenant (Genesis 17:1 – 21).

From the Slave Trade to world hatred, and enduring racism and discrimination all over the world, Blacks have suffered at the hands of those who ruled over them. But now, the CREATOR GOD of Israel is awakening the Dry Bones and calling HIS People home to the chagrin and utter dismay of European Israelis who are helpless to do anything about it but who still have plans to thwart the WORD of GOD. Trust me, their efforts will not end in victory, and nothing since 1948 has even given them hope that they could take the place of the SEED of Jacob/Israel (Genesis 32:28) – neither by conversion nor submersion.

Thus, the reasons for the war for Israeli control of GOD’s Land and the reasons for a world of troubled times, disasters, endless suffering, despair, and many, many tears.

The CREATOR is taking back HIS Universe and keeping HIS Everlasting Promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Patriarchs of the Nation of Israel.

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God. For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.” Isaiah 10:20 - 22

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.” Isaiah 11:11

“And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.” Ezekiel 36:27

“The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.” Zephaniah 3:13

“Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.” Zephaniah 3:19

And for all HIS Creations, especially man, the ONE CREATOR GOD of Israel will be acknowledged and worshipped by HIS Chosen People and all Nations remaining from HIS Wrath and destruction of the wicked. The Peoples of this world will revolve around its MAKER!

Yes, the All-Mighty CREATOR will liberate HIS Holy Land and will return to HIS Holy City Jerusalem, where once again HIS Holy Priests will minister before HIM and where people of all Nations will visit to Bless HIM for HIS GOODNESS and for HIS Holy Name’s Sake.

“And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 66:23

“And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.” Zechariah 14:16

FINALLY:

“Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD's anger.” Zephaniah 2:3

WHAT IS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE CREATOR GOD?

“And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.” Deuteronomy 6:25

“When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing. Gather the people together, men and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law: And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.” Deuteronomy 31:11 - 13

The fulfillment of the above passage is just a matter of time.

1. Breaking the Chains of Psychological Slavery by Na'im Akbar (a very short book, but it's chock full of good, good stuff);

2. Africans and Their History by Dr. Joseph E. Harris (the book is not a big book either and there's even a paperback edition. Yet, it is one of the most comprehensive and easy-to-follow books on Africa that I've read);

3. Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome by Dr. Joy Learey (in my opinion, this sister, even without an Israelite perspective, has produced the definitive work on explaining some of our behaviors, thought patterns, etc. She also offers some practical solutions that can be adopted and are even more applicable because we know the origin of our pathological behavior);

4. Capitalism and Slavery by Eric Williams (even though Dr. Williams speaks mainly about West Indian slavery, he offers a comprehensive perspective as to why we should not embrace our oppressors - particularly when we understand what they have done to us and their mindset on the whole institution).

5. Holy Land, Whose Land?: Modern Dilemma, Ancient Roots by Dorothy Drummond (she offers an interesting perspective on the question and she offers both the scientific and historical explanations as to why this is so);

6. The Woman's Encyclopedia of Myths and Secrets by Barbara G. Walker. This is a great reference book for explaining many of the pagan origins of beliefs, practices, etc.

7. The Penguin Dictionary of Religions, edited by John R. Hinnells;

8. The Penguin Dictionary of Symbols, by Jean Chevalier and Alain Gheerbrant;
Both of these reference books offer a wealth of information as to the origin or certain religious beliefs, how these beliefs were founded, and how various symbols are derived from paganism, etc.

9. Anything by the late Dr. Amos N. Wilson, particularly the following: The Developmental Psychology of the Black Child; Awakening the Natural Genius of Black Children; & The Falsification of Afrikan Consciousness.

NOTE: Dr. Wilson was an inspired, if sometimes soporific lecturer, although his lectures were mainly delivered in the vernacular of the common man. His books are written is some common language that is easily comprehensible, while also including language that may be difficult for some to follow (i.e., written in academic language). However, folks who are good and/or avid readers will gain a lot from his work.

10. The Hidden History of New York: A guide for Black Folks by Tingba Apidta, the 3rd in a series of The Reclamation Project, Boston, MA. (This book is for those who mistakenly believe that slavery and Jim Crow were Southern U.S. phenomena.)

11. African Perspective on Colonialism by A. Adu Boahen (An African's view of his continent's conquerors. Very interesting and informative.)

12. *The Jew and the Christian Missionary: A Jewish Response to Missionary Christianity" by Gerald Segal, KTAV Publishing House, Inc., NY, 1981.
*Please note that this book may be completely out of print. When I ordered mine on amazon.com a few years ago, (The Strand and other out-of-print publishers did not have a copy) it cost me $53 (other copies were being sold for as high as $250!). A congregation might want to track this publication down and pay for a copy and then distribute without charge, copies of sections, citing the source, of course. This way, they don't infringe on copyright laws. It is one of those remarkable books that once acquired, you don't let out6 of your possession.

THE SOAPBOX THAT SPEAKS…

AMERICA FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER

VOTED FOR A BLACK PRESIDENT

Of course this US 2009 Presidential Inauguration will go down in history books as being one of phenomenal amazement. However, at the end of the day, the final chapter will be of the fall of the “Greatest Country in the World”. The CREATOR GOD has a Judgment for this racist country, just as HE had one for all nations that took HIS People captive, and there is nothing any Black President can do about that. As we know from the Hebrew Scriptures, the CREATOR GOD renders punishment upon the wicked for their iniquity. And if people believe that President Obama will redeem the United States from this punishment, they are mistaken. GOD’s Covenant People endured painful burdens of blood, sweat, tears, maiming, degradation, and death at the hands of White Americans, and even the GOD of Israel said that they showed no mercy.

“I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.” Isaiah 47:6

GOD does not wrest Judgment:

“And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

“And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

“It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.

“And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.” Isaiah 13:11,19,20,22

Although I very much like and admire the Obama family and the image they all portray, I cannot be excited about a Black man being President of the United States - a country that perpetuates unjust practices, that enslaved my forebears, and that yet smears and afflicts minorities. President Obama cannot change the past nor save this country from the imminent prophecy to be fulfilled upon it. GOD’s Wrath will prevail, and in the end many souls will be lost.

When GOD destroys all that is “America“, HE will call attention to HIMSELF, just as HE did with the destruction of Ancient Egypt, Pharaoh, and his army. The only difference is that the Daughter of Babylon, the United States, will never be inhabited again.

To its chagrin, the White House has a merciless and bloody history. Orders for blood have echoed from the White House since its construction, that was, built by Slaves, by the way, and has not ceased since. All the Presidential Administrations that have proceeded forth have exploited defenseless countries and/or instigated their fall. The world must know that there is a GOD, and a merciful GOD at that. HE is a Righteous GOD and does not tolerate the evil and wickedness that the United States demonstrates and sustains.

Neither a White President nor a Black President can change GOD’s Plan that HE has in store for “America the Beautiful” that falsely boasts “In God We Trust”.

A SPECIAL REPORT ON THE “KOY”

TAKE DILIGENT HEED…

“…take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law,

which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments,

and to cleave unto him,

and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.”

Joshua 22:5

What exactly does the GOD of Israel mean when HE Commands us to take diligent heed to do HIS Commandments and HIS LAW?

IN THAT…

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.” Deuteronomy 30:19,20

AND…

“And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law. For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.” Deuteronomy 32:46,47

I would think that to take diligent heed means to be extremely cautious to keep GOD’s LAW, read and study it, DO IT, and pray to the GOD of Israel for wisdom to understand it. And in addition to that common sense would be to either join with others so determined or be alone in returning back to the Holy ONE and what’s required of the SEED of Jacob.

This might seem ever so trivial a detail to some, but it means a world to the GOD of Israel. You see, I used to belong to Ben Ammi’s group, and I left for many reasons, but mainly because he was allowing people to call him JC and “Saviour” and because he was not concerned about GOD’s LAW and much less about taking heed to live and do it.

What truly, truly disturbs me is that there are people encouraging Israelites to join up with Ben Ammi and accept his title – “Messianic Leader,” as well as the blasphemous notion that the True and Living GOD would have such a congregation to represent HIM. Yes, of course the so-called “KOY” exists, but it does not represent the GOD of Israel and HIS LAW, i.e., HIS Ways of Righteousness that HE Commanded of the Prophet Moses to teach to the Nation of Israel. This group does not in any way signify the Kingdom of YAH, and indeed it cannot in any way portray GOD’s Righteous Kingdom.

The “KOY” is a congregation of people calling themselves Israelites and living according to the Laws of Ben Ammi and the imaginations of his contrary and devious heart. The wise in the knowledge of Truth know that Ben Ammi’s camp, built on corruption, crime, lust, adultery, and death, cannot in any way be connected with the Holy ONE of Israel’s Divine and Righteous Kingdom or cannot be established to receive the Remnant GOD said would return.

“The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly. I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.” Jeremiah 23:20 – 22

“My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.” Jeremiah 50:6

Moreover, King David’s Seed will head the CREATOR GOD’s Righteous Kingdom that will exist upon this Earth, and he will know to be the perfect role model for living GOD’s LAW in Righteousness.

I have never read where Kings David and Solomon called themselves “Messiah.”

“And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.” Isaiah 11:1 – 5

“And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.” Isaiah 11:10

And this Righteous Kingdom will be all about serving, worshipping, and PRAISING the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and about representing HIM and spreading HIS Laws, Statutes, and Judgments throughout this world, in order that the CREATOR GOD of Israel will be Magnified and will receive all the Praise and all the Glory, so that people will abandon the “New Testament” and its theology. Have no doubts about it, the son of David will rule from Jerusalem and the GOD of Heaven and Earth will rule over all (Psalm 103:19).

I find nothing in GOD’s WORD to support an existence of HIS Kingdom in Israel under the control of Gentile Jews. Ben Ammi has deceived hundreds into believing this lie that he is the Messianic leader of GOD’s Kingdom. How long are we going to follow leaders who use GOD’s Holy Name in vain?!

Taking heed to keep GOD’s LAW would entail staying as far from Ben Ammi as possible. And the fact that HE keeps his stores open on GOD’s Holy Day of Complete REST is a darn good red flag and eye-opener that shouts to stay away from this leader, as of a Truth, he does not FEAR the GOD of Israel to do HIS Will. And what better information exists from Our GOD to prove Ben Ammi to be one who defies the All-Mighty GOD!

“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Isaiah 8:20

This passage is the best gauge Israelites have for determining and for understanding who to accept as a genuine leader or know who FEARS the Holy ONE of Israel. If Ben Ammi and the people of his camp defy the Most High GOD of Israel, then why join with them, and why take part in their beliefs unfounded in GOD’s LAW and in their disobedience?

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” Psalm 1:1,2

“I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.” Psalm 26:5

“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:” Psalm 66:18

“Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.” Psalm 141:4

“Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider. Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.” Isaiah 1:2 - 4

Another perfect incident that serves to explain why we cannot join with people who break GOD’s LAW concerns Jehoshaphat and Ahziah. And does it ever speak VOLUMES!

“And after this did Jehoshaphat king of Judah join himself with Ahaziah king of Israel, who did very wickedly: And he joined himself with him to make ships to go to Tarshish: and they made the ships in Eziongaber. Then Eliezer the son of Dodavah of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, Because thou hast joined thyself with Ahaziah, the LORD hath broken thy works. And the ships were broken, that they were not able to go to Tarshish.” II Chronicles 20:35 – 37

Let’s not pretend we don’t know about our past and how our stiffnecked and rebellious forebears loved to be connected with evildoers and how they encouraged the lawful to follow wickedness. At least admit to what THUS SAITH THE LORD!

At this late day and in the time of Jacob’s Trouble, why would we even consider joining with Ben Ammi or with anyone or with any congregation that does not make GOD’s LAW the Paths of Righteousness to follow and walk? Our GOD of Israel promises us that if we return to HIM and HIS LAW, that then we can return to our heritage (Deuteronomy 30:1-4). If people will join with Ben Ammi, then for them GOD’s Promise is made void.

“And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.” Ezekiel 11:12

“Why criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee.” Jeremiah 30:15

“And hast given them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey; And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do: therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them:” Jeremiah 32:22,23

What a crime! Ben Ammi was among the blessed to return, but just like his rebellious forefat hers, he, too, refuses to be obedient to the LAWS of the GOD of Israel.

The WORD of the GOD of Israel also condemns Ben Ammi for calling himself a “Messianic Leader” in order to gather Israelites and Christians into his fold. But in no way does he emulate the “Old Testament” men of GOD!

Was Moses, Joshua, Samuel, the kings of Israel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, or any of the other Prophets who promoted GOD’s Book of the Law and who spoke “THUS SAITH THE LORD” called a Messiah? Do we need this? Is this something required of us to have before us?

I listened to a Brother in Paltalk Chat go to extremes to contrive a justifiable explanation for Ben Ammi calling himself a Messiah. The Truth of the matter is that this word is not even connected with Hebrew-Israelite Culture. “Jews” and Christians and the Book of Daniel and the “New Testament” are very much associated with the word “Messiah,” but not the Israelites who wandered forty years in the Wilderness and inhabited the Land of Israel. And if Moses was NOT given this C.E. terminology to introduce to the Children of Israel, then there is no reason for us to know about it at all. There isn’t even ANY information in this Book of Daniel or in the “New Testament” that is essential for Israelites to know and do – none at all. All that the GOD of Israel required of us to know and do was given to HIS Servant Moses and is reiterated in the books of HIS Prophets who utter “THUS SAITH THE LORD.” There is no “THUS SIAITH THE LORD” in the Book of Daniel or in the “New Testament.” Both of these books were written AFTER GOD scattered HIS Chosen People, Israel, from the land. That being the case, this literature is suspect, and proof of this is the fact that the Israelites were scattered to live in “Darkness” and to serve their enemies. So, why would the Holy ONE give them any information about seventy weeks or seventy years or seventy anything?

And even if this information is for a time after the Israelites return, the information still makes no sense. “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week…” (Daniel 9:27). This verse contradicts what “THUS SAITH THE LORD” about HIS Covenant in Jeremiah 31:31 – 34 and in Ezekiel 20:37. And not one of GOD’s Prophets makes mention of this event in the Book of Daniel.

Just for the record, “THUS SAITH THE LORD” is mentioned more than 400 times in the “Old Testament” but not even once in the Book of Daniel or in the “New Testament.” That’s no mistake. That’s for us to think logically and connect the dots! Therefore, when we do the research concerning the year the Book of Daniel was probably written, we will see that this Book of Daniel and the “New Testament” were written to deceive Israelites, and, thus, we have no reason to accept the information in either of these books as being GOD’s WORD.

GOD’s Covenants – HIS LAW and HIS Promises, as well as the “New Covenant” spoken of in Jeremiah 31:31-34 - will resume upon our return to our heritage. And there is no other WORD of GOD to have us believe that any one of these Covenants will be one week. Actually, when you consider what’s written in Daniel 9:27, none of this chapter makes any sense whatsoever.

“He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations. Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac; And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:” Psalm 105:8 – 10

“Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry: And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.” Psalm 106:44,45

The Holy ONE of Israel has not only remembered HIS Covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but HE has opened our eyes to the fact that WE ARE HIS PEOPLE, but unfortunately, too many of us do not choose to do that which is necessary to stay in HIS good graces.

Another serious issue is that certain people credit Ben Ammi with moving Israelites to Liberia and then on to Israel. The GOD of Israel did not say that Ben Ammi would deliver HIS People. HE said that HE would, and when HE does, for sure HE wants all the GLORY, every whit! HE got all the GLORY in the Israelite Deliverance out of Egypt, and HE, unequivocally, will be Exalted AGAIN upon the return of the Remnant of Israel that GOD promises HE WILL GATHER. To suggest or even think for a moment that Ben Ammi deserves recognition for that which is due to the Holy ONE of Israel leads me to believe that some of us, being Israelites, have truly lost sight of what’s important to know and understand. It would appear that the Holy ONE is again proving Israelites to determine who will and who will not enter into HIS Glorious Kingdom.

And just because people think Ben Ammi to be prosperous and have more than other congregations is no reason to boast about the advancements he has made. When I hear this, I am constantly reminded of the “green bay tree” in Psalms.

“Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.” Psalm 37:1 – 3

“I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.” Psalm 37:35 - 37

“They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:” Psalm 49:6,7

“Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” Psalm 127:1

It would appear that people don’t yet get the full understanding of the above verse that is loaded with Truth, conviction, and certainty. Time proves everything! The Flood of Noah’s Day and the scattering of the Nation of Israel into the Four Corners of the Earth are proven facts that the CREATOR GOD of Israel does not tolerate people taking HIS Name in vain, disobedience of HIS LAW, and the worship of false gods and even of man.

Ben Ammi is not “perfect.” He, himself, said in 1996 that he is doing 60%. Thus, he isn’t even close to being “the perfect man.” He is failing and falling fast! His works and teachings speak volumes. We have history to probe for what “THUS SAITH THE LORD” and for what required of us. AND we have read what has happened to Israelites who stray from GOD’s LAW in order to establish their own direction. We have book after book in the “Old Testament” that gives us all the information we need concerning rebellious Israelites. We know what the GOD of Israel did to them, and we know that HE has not changed HIS Ordinances one iota, and that HE will NEVER change them. Hence, knowing all this, and knowing what the GOD of Moses has said about HIS LAW and the consequences for not keeping it (in Deuteronomy 28^th Chapter), knowing that HE will MAGNIFY HIS LAW and put it in our hearts, knowing that we were scattered for not observing this Divine LAW, would Our GOD of Israel send such a leader as Ben Ammi who has no regard for HIS LAW but rather for magnifying himself and a bogus “KOY”?
