Tribute to the New Moon Revised:

The service of this solar/lunar calendar of TORAH READINGS is by definition using the “LIGHTS” of the sun and moon, according to Genesis 1:14, to number the “days” of each month. And the dark phases of the moon cooperatively provide a break between the months. If there were no dark phases of the moon, we would have a tough time determining when one month ended and when another would begin. The Hebrew New Year is, thus, determined by the “LIGHTS” in the Heavens and not by the “sighting of barley.” Please see the “TORAH READINGS CALENDAR” for more information on how our Hebrew New Year is determined (www.thelawkeeper.org).

The first “Sign” in the Heavens to provide the start of days, years and “seasons” can only begin with the “Sighting” of the New Moon Crescent - that which we can “see” in order for it to serve as a “Sign” and enable us to begin counting our days and months. Just imagine not being able to “see” the moon at all. How then could it be appointed for a “Sign” or for “seasons”?

“The natural thought might be that the moon is like a living being. It is born, grows, reaches maximum size, then fades and dies, going through all these stages in one month. Even today, we still talk of the thin crescent in the western sky as a new moon and the thin crescent in the eastern sky a month later as the old moon. Half way between is the full moon. As I explained earlier, this cycle of phases of the moon established the month as a unit of time, and the first calendars were based on this.” ISAAC ASIMOV’S GUIDE TO EARTH AND SPACE, pages 79 and 80

In that the King of Israel is supposed to be a “Righteous Judge” (II Chronicles 1:11), it stands to reason that he is also supposed to be a “Righteous Role Model.” Thus, if the King that GOD appoints over Israel observes a “feast” on the day of the New Moon, then wisdom tells the Nation of Israel to do likewise. King Saul and the anointed David observed this service (I Samuel 20th Chapter).

To their and our hurt our forefathers worshipped all manner of symbols: the sun, moon, stars, and images of gold and silver. To observe the “Sign” in the heavens as being the New Moon “Sighting” is NOT worshipping the moon, but rather it is doing as we are COMMANDED in Genesis 1:14:

“And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:”

Some people feel that the moon has no “light,” but according to GOD’s WORD to HIS Prophets, it most certainly does: Isaiah 13:10; Isaiah 30:26; Jeremiah 31:35; Ezekiel 32:7.

“Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings,

and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.”

Numbers 10:10

Contrary to the belief of some Israelites, the moon does indeed shine! Whether the Moon shines on its own or with the aid of the sun, IT STILL SHINES! And the fact that Scripture attests to this fact, is what’s important: Isaiah 60:19; Jeremiah 31:35; and Ezekiel 32:7. Therefore, Genesis 1:14 is proof enough that we must use the shining New Moon Crescents as “…SIGNS, AND FOR SEASONS, AND FOR DAYS, AND FOR YEARS:”

Some Israelites, along with White Jews, use the dark phase of the moon to determine the start of a new month. If the dark phase of the moon lasts for “2-3 days,” then which of these days is supposed to be the distinguishing “Sign” that determines the First Day of the month? Or do we just arbitrarily select either/or depending on the imaginations of our hearts?

On the contrary, with the use of the sighted “Sign” of the New Moon Crescent in the Heavens we eliminate any confusion as to which day IS the First Day of the month.

“So David hid himself in the field: and WHEN THE NEW MOON WAS COME, the king sat him down to eat meat.” I Samuel 20:24

At the time of the dark phases of the moon (generally 2-3 days), as previously written, there is no “moon” in SIGHT. Therefore, I Samuel 20:24 sheds more light on Genesis 1:14. “WHEN THE NEW MOON WAS COME,” is clearly telling readers that this is a reference to a visible “Moon Crescent Sighting” - the light in the firmament…i.e., the “Sign” for (lunar) days. Thus, if we are to count all the lunar days (29.5) in a month, it only makes sense to start counting from the New Moon Crescent “when the New Moon was come” and NOT from the dark phases at the end of the month, which do not emit any “sign” or “light” in the heavens.

The only problem that presents itself when using the “New Moon Sighting” to call the First Day of the month is cloud coverage, as this prevents the ability to see the New Moon Crescent. Nonetheless, when “Sighted,” one can easily distinguish the New Moon Crescent from all the other phases due to its thin sliver and its low position in the heavens. And the reason is that no two days or rather phases of the visible moon are alike. Hence, to use the New Moon Crescent as the “Sign” in the heavens, as we are COMMANDED to do for our seasons, days, and years, negates the belief that the “commandment was given to the luminaries.” The “luminaries” fulfill GOD’s Commandments: the sun shines and the moon orbits the Earth. They have no need to determine seasons, days, and years. Hence, our New Moons are obviously of more spiritual significance to the Nation of Israel than we are aware. And for sure, the TRUTH concerning them are in GOD’s WORD to HIS Prophets/Seers - not the White Jews or other Gentiles. All we need do is use wisdom, discern what’s written in Scripture, accept it, and act accordingly!

“Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the LORD on the altar of the LORD, which he had built before the porch,

“Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.” II Chronicles 8:12,13

Unless there is an emergency, please try not to buy or sell on this day. Conduct all financial and business transactions prior to the day of the New Moon. Interesting enough, II Kings 4:23,24 constitutes the New Moon as being a day to seek “the man of God.” Although the New Moon is NOT a Day of Rest, Our GOD did set it aside for recognition:

“Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.” Psalm 81:3

“And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 66:23

“…When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn?…” Amos 8:5

Probably, the Scripture that most determines and clarifies the fact that our New Moons are Feast Days is Ezekiel 45:17:

“And it shall be the prince’s part to give burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the NEW MOONS, and in the Sabbaths, in ALL SOLEMNITIES of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the HOUSE OF ISRAEL.” (Caps. are mine.)

Unequivocally, our New Moons are included in these “SOLEMNITIES” mentioned in Ezekiel 45:17.

“Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the door of this gate before the LORD in the Sabbaths [Feasts – NOT 7th Day Sabbaths*] and in the NEW MOONS.” Ezekiel 46:3 (Brackets are mine.)

Thereby, this verse justifies the First Day of each month being our “Feast” Day. It should be realized that the Feast Days that Our GOD selected (Leviticus 23rd Chapter) are “Holy Convocations,” i.e., on these days we cannot do any work. However, because King Saul observed the New Moon as a Feast Day, we have every reason to do so, as well. We also have learned that our forefathers traveled to the Temple to worship the Holy ONE on the New Moon (II Kings 4:23; Ezekiel 45:17; and Ezekiel 46:1), and when HE has HIS Temple rebuilt, then we will again be able to resume this service and worship.

When we return to our heritage and worship YIHOVAH according to HIS Ways, then we can establish our own “Calendar of the Universe,” whereby, the days of the New Moon and all GOD’s Holy Days will be recognized by the whole entire World. And I am sure that it will be the desire of the Righteous Remnant and ALL the world to make a Feast to the Most High GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel every First Day of the Month.

ALSO, I believe that if Lot (Genesis 19:3) and Abraham (Genesis 21:8) can proclaim “Feasts,” then there is no stipulation for NOT establishing Feast Days, as we so desire. Therefore, to proclaim a feast to EXALT the Holy ONE of Israel on the First Day of each month is quite acceptable - given the Scripture (above) regarding worshipping Our LORD GOD of ISRAEL, Our SAVIOR, on the New Moons. We should know that throughout the Tanakh Hebrew Israelites called for “feasts” for various occasions. Therefore, we are within our rights to observe a Feast every New Moon to Our GOD, the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel. And those of us who love this WONDERFUL GOD and who choose HIM to EXALT HIM for being the ONLY LORD and SAVIOR can be at liberty to use the day of the New Moon to show forth HIS PRAISE in a “feast” and worship HIM in Jerusalem FOREVER.

“And Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and offered up burnt offerings, and offered peace offerings, and [he] made a feast to all his servants.”

A Tribute to GOD’s “HOLY” Seventh Day Sabbath of Complete REST - HIS WEEKLY ANNIVERSARY OBSERVANCE and SIGN between HIM and Israelites for HIS CREATION of the Heavens and the Earth:

“REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY, TO KEEP IT HOLY”

Exodus 20:8

“See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.” Exodus 16:29

“And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.

“Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.” Exodus 35:1,2

“Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation [“HOLY DAY”]; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.” Leviticus 23:3

Significantly, in the beginning when the Holy ONE of Israel established this Sabbath Day of COMPLETE REST and when HE clearly COMMANDED the Children of Israel in the Wilderness to observe this Holy Day, HE MADE NO EXCEPTIONS!

If “ALL” GOD’s COMMANDMENTS are sure, then for sure, we must give credence to Exodus 16:29 and abide in our places on GOD’s HOLY Seventh Day of Complete REST as we are COMMANDED TO DO!

“He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen. The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.” Psalm 111:7

GOD’s Holy Seventh Day Sabbath of REST is not only one of HIS Greatest WORKS of all time, but this Holy Day is an extraordinary “SIGN” between this Most High GOD, the CREATOR and HIS Chosen People, the Children of Israel! This Seventh Day also marks the Anniversary of GOD ending the Creations of the Heavens, Earth, man, and all that is therein.

“Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. CONCERNING “HOLY CONVOCATION”

The issue stemming from the meaning of “Holy Convocation” written in Leviticus 23^rd Chapter is real, and the interpretation is grossly misunderstood. “Holy Convocation” does not mean “To Gather.” And the sin committed by traveling and gathering on the CREATOR’s Holy Sabbath of Complete REST has grave consequences (Exodus 31:12 - 18).

Conclusive evidence that “holy convocation” DOES NOT mean to assemble is provided in the passage on Passover. In Exodus 12:16 we are told that Passover is a “holy convocation” but yet, we are Commanded to observe this High Holy Day with our immediate families and only to join with another family if one’s members are too few for the lamb (Exodus 12:4). This proves without a doubt that “holy convocation” cannot mean to assemble, but rather to keep the holy days “HOLY.” Some call attention to the fact that because Israelites were Commanded to ”…turn in the morning and go into their tents” (Deuteronomy 16:5-7) that this is proof of an assembly. Those Israelite families that joined with others are the ones GOD Commanded to return to their tents.

The Holy ONE of Israel DOES NOT contradict HIMSELF! HE would not COMMAND us to “Rest” on the Sabbath Day of Rest and also Command us to “abide ye every man in your place on the seventh day,” and then confuse us by telling us to “assemble” on the “rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD.” This would make absolutely no sense whatsoever. Therefore, if the Holy ONE of Israel said don’t bear a burden on the Sabbath Day of Rest (Jeremiah 17:21,22) and that our asses (used for travel) had to also rest, then for sure we have to “abide in our places…on the seventh day.” Thus, using our cars and paying tolls and public transportation on GOD’s Holy Seventh Day of Rest is absolutely forbidden! And walking to the Temple or to any meeting place was and still is out of the question all because GOD’s Seventh Day is specifically to be kept as a DAY of “COMPLETE REST” - Shabatone (as is written in Hebrew).

The wise, obedient ones understand the great importance of observing this Seventh Day of Rest exactly as GOD Commanded and will not add to or diminish from this Law of the “Blessed,” “Sanctified,” and “Holy” Seventh Day Sabbath.

Lose Weight Forever
50 Habits of ‘‘Naturally Thin’’ People

This is not a diet—or a rigorous exercise program. (Nobody can stick to those for long.) Instead, it’s a simple way to make weight loss a natural part of the life you already live. And guess what? It’s fun! You don’t have to give up the foods you love or join a gym. It’s about balancing calories in tiny ways that add up to big benefits. You just adopt some tricks naturally lean people do. Pick the ones you like, stick with them, and you’ll slim down and tone up—for good!

How to Get Started

Decide how much you want to lose and see how many calories a day it will take to make it happen by year’s end. Then, work into your routines however many of these eating tweaks and exercises (it’s important to do both) you need to achieve your goal:

Slash a total of 100 calories each day to lose about 10 pounds in a year.

Slash 250 calories a day to lose about 25 pounds.

Slash 500 calories a day to lose about 50 pounds.

This is based on a 150-pound person; you may need to cut more or fewer calories, depending on your weight, age and gender. It also assumes your normal calorie intake essentially stays the same (you’re not overeating today, running a marathon tomorrow) and your weight is stable. For instance, a 140-pound woman eats about 2,100 calories a day to maintain her current weight; a 210-pound man needs 3,150 daily to keep the scale steady. Now read on and start losing!

Morning Makeover

1 Wake-up workout.
When your eyes open, sit up slowly without using your hands. With legs straight out, lean forward until you feel a gentle stretch in your back and hamstrings. Hold; then, using your abs, lower yourself flat. Rest and repeat two more times. Strengthens core. Burns 10

2 Go for the grains.
Not ready for Twigs & Rocks cereal? Sprinkle on a few tablespoons of wheat germ or oat bran. Work up to 3/4 cup of low-sugar whole-grain cereal with at least three grams of fibre per serving, and you’ll pass on that Danish. Saves 100

3 Add some protein.
The more you eat earlier on, the less you eat as the day wears on, research has shown. So after your cereal, add a hard-boiled egg or a part-skim mozzarella cheese stick to keep you feeling full—and away from that pre-lunch brownie. Saves 200 (or more)

4 Balance booster.
While you brush your teeth, alternate standing on one leg as you switch mouth quadrants (every 30 seconds). Balancing develops your core muscles and may even be good for your brain. Burns 10

5 Be a ballerina.
As your coffee drips, stand sideways, put one hand on the counter, and lift the outside leg straight out in front of you, keeping it extended. With upper body straight, hold for a few seconds and move it to the side; hold and extend it behind you. Do five to ten times on each leg. Tones outer thighs, hip flexors and quadriceps. Burns 10

6 Coffee saver.
Instead of pouring that 1/3 cup of half-and-half (a whopping 105 calories!) into your mug, replace it with the same amount of 2 percent milk. Saves 60

7 Better your bagel.
You can walk 10,000 steps to justify your 500-calorie bagel with cream cheese, or try this: low-fat spreadable cheese like Laughing Cow Light on an English muffin. Saves 300

Nine-to-Five Fixes

8 Tone in traffic.
Use the time spent bumper-to-bumper to develop your buns of steel: Squeeze your derrière each time you tap the brake, holding for ten seconds. Shoot for ten to 15 squeezes a trip. Burns 10

9 Snack smarter.
Portion out the day’s snacks into pint-size zip bags, or buy single-serving portions. For example, four regular Oreos have 200 calories versus the 100-calorie snack bag version. Go for the lower fat chips: a Lay’s Light bag has only 75 calories, while the regular has 150. Saves 175 (over two snacks)

10 Casual day payoff.
You will blast more calories during the day wearing comfy clothes like jeans or khakis, sport shirts and soft-soled shoes than donning constricting suits, skirts and heels. Why? Because you walk more, a study found. Now you just have to convince the boss. Burns 25

11 You know squat!
At your desk chair, pretend you’re going to sit but don’t—stop and come back up without using your arms. Always start squats by lowering your hips, not bending knees forward, and keeping your weight on your heels. Repeat the motion throughout the day (even at the potty!) for 15 to 20 total. Strengthens quadriceps. Burns 15

12 Switch your soda.
Your body doesn’t register calories from liquids the same way it does those from foods, so you won’t get those “stop eating” signals to help you compensate for the overload later on. Change from two glasses of regular soda or fruit juice to diet soda or a flavoured seltzer. Saves 300

13 Talk it UP.
Every time you grab the phone, stand up and pace around. Heavy people sit on average two and a half hours more per day than thin people, according to the Mayo Clinic. Burns 50 or more

14 At lunch, pick a pita.
Use one mini whole-wheat pita instead of the usual two slices of white or refined wheat bread for your sandwich. Saves 70

15 Get face time.
We use e-mail so much we’ve forgotten what our co-workers look like. Pick a colleague or two who sits farthest from you and deliver ten of those daily messages in person. And go out of your way: Hit a bathroom or a copier on another floor—and take the stairs, of course. Burns 100

16 Firm as you file.
Pause from your papers with a few wall push-ups. Place hands wide at shoulder height against the wall. Take a couple of steps back so your body is at a slight angle and your weight is on your toes, and do three sets of ten push-ups. Strengthens chest and triceps. 17 An apple (or more) a day.
They’re packed with fibre and water, so your stomach will want less. Plus, studies out of Washington State and Brazil have shown that people who eat at least three apples or pears a day lose weight. Try two small apples and two fewer large cookies. Saves 100

18 Try a simple chair workout.
Dips: If your chair has wheels, brace it against something. Facing forward, place palms on the front edge of the seat with knees bent at a right angle. Lower butt toward the floor; raise and repeat for two sets of ten. Tones triceps. Burns 10

Lifts: Seated in a chair with your back straight and your feet on the floor, squeeze knees together and gently bring them toward your chest. Do two sets of ten. Strengthens abdominals. Burns 10

Around Town

19 Carry some weight.
When you’re grocery shopping or running errands, wear a backpack with a five- or ten-pound bag of sugar inside to increase resistance and burn more calories. Add purchases to your load as it becomes easier. Burns 20 (for an hour of errands)

20 Tweak your treat.
Instead of a large café latte and a chocolate cream-cheese muffin, get a small nonfat latte and a small low-fat raisin or carrot muffin. Saves 340

21 Pump at the pump.
Instead of fuming over gas prices, think about firming your calves: With one hand on your car, stand on the balls of your feet and slowly rise up and down for as long as it takes your tank to fill—for an SUV that might be 50 raises! Burns 10

22 Do the pizza pat.
Blot your slice with a napkin to cut anywhere from a teaspoon to a tablespoon of grease—and calories. Saves 50-100

23 Shop till the pounds drop.
At the mall, try on at least ten outfits, both pants and shirts. No need to buy! Burns 60

24 Eat like a kid.
You don’t have to give up that quick lunch if you order smaller portions: Instead of a Quarter Pounder with Cheese and large fries, opt for the cheeseburger Happy Meal. You can even play with the toy. Saves 390

25 Recharge yourself.
Anytime you’re waiting in line, stand evenly on both feet, clasp hands behind your back and squeeze shoulder blades together to open your chest, an energizing yoga-based move that stimulates the nervous system. Hold for ten to 20 seconds while slowly breathing in and out, taking longer on the inhale. Burns 5

On the Home Front

26 Jog for junk mail.
Turn clutter into a challenge: For every piece of junk mail you pull from the mailbox each day, do one lap around your house or building, or up and down a flight of stairs. Burns 35-140

27 Use better butter.
No, you don’t have to give up the real deal—instead of a tablespoon of stick butter, use a tablespoon of whipped and cut half the calories. Saves 30

28 Step on it.
Before you lug those backpacks upstairs, stop and stand on the bottom step for these calf toners. Hold the banister with one hand. Bend your right leg and place the toes of your left foot on the edge of the step. Let your heel drop down, press into the ball of your left foot and rise to your toes. Pause; repeat with each foot for eight to 12 reps. Burns 10

29 Start with soup.
Order a clear soup instead of a salad soaked with two tablespoons full-fat ranch and you can save twice the calories. Plus you’ll feel fuller, so you’ll eat less when the entrée comes. Saves 100

30 Play footsie.
After dinner, while you’re still sitting at the table, extend your right leg out and slowly bend it up and down, squeezing and holding in the up position for at least five seconds. Repeat on each leg five times. Sculpts quadriceps. Burns 10

31 Make perfect pasta.
Substitute whole-grain pasta for semolina and you’ll be satisfied with a smaller portion (11/2 ounces instead of two). Saves 50. Or use the same amount of oat- bran pasta. Saves 90

32 Climb up!
Taking the stairs for a total of just two minutes, five days a week, gives you the same calorie-burning results as a 20-minute walk. Burns 100-140

33 Fill up with fruit.
Like pie? Here’s how you can cave to the craving: Sprinkle fresh fruit—some cut-up apple, pear or a handful of cherries—with some Splenda or Equal, cover and nuke for a minute or so. Tastes just like pie filling. Saves 275

34 Have your cake.
Pick up an angel food cake for dessert. It’s packed with air and has fewer than half the calories of, say, pound cake. Saves 70

35 Ease into evening.
Sitting with feet uncrossed, grab your wrist and raise your hands above your head to lengthen the spine. Take a deep breath in as you reach and hold the position, breathing slowly in and out for 20 seconds, taking longer on the exhale. Instant relaxation. Burns 5

36 Get your chocolate fix.
Instead of a candy bar, try a sugar-free, reduced-calorie Jell-O chocolate pudding snack with a squirt of nonfat whipped cream topping. Eat it with a baby spoon to savour it longer. Saves 185

37 Crunch for your clicker.
The average half-hour TV show has eight minutes of commercials. Make reaching for the remote control worth it: Place it out of reach on the coffee table or, if you’re lying down, on the opposite arm of the couch. Every time an ad comes on and you reach for the remote, crunch until the show comes back on; you should reach 100-150 or so. Tones abs. Burns 24

38 Lift those hips.
Before you tuck yourself in, lie on your back on the floor with your legs up on the edge of the bed or a chair. Slowly bend your knees, lifting your hips off the floor. Hold for five seconds, relax and repeat ten to 12 times. Firms up hamstrings and core. Burns 10

The Weekend

39 Sing a song.
Spend Sunday morning belting it out in the church choir. Burns 70 per service

40 Make it bacon.
At the diner, order three slices of crisp bacon instead of two sausage links, and pat off the extra grease. Saves 90

After every quarter of the game, get up from the bleachers and take a lap around the gym or field. Four or five times around a typical one is about a mile. Burns 75

42 Movie time.
Most people eat 45 percent more popcorn from large-size containers, so make sure you get only a small and skip the butter, which adds more calories than the popcorn itself. Bring your own seasoned salt or Parmesan cheese for more flavour. Saves 350

43 Orient yourself.
At Chinese restaurants, be sure to avoid anything named General Tao or Crispy, which means fried. Eat only the filling of the egg roll and not the shell. Saves 400-500

44 Catch this!
Spend a half-hour tossing a ball or Frisbee with your kid. Burns 90

45 Cut the cheese.
Order your pizza with half the cheese or even cheese-less, and then sprinkle with a few tablespoons of Parmesan. Saves 100

46 Have a hot dog!
Pile on the pickles, onions and sauerkraut—these fibre-packed condiments will fill you up and prevent you from eating a second dog. Skip the cheese and chili. Saves 250

47 Think about your drink.
Consider beer or wine instead of a frozen drink: A glass of regular beer has 140 calories and a serving of wine has 126 calories, while a strawberry daiquiri has about 300 and a margarita 340. Saves 150-200

48 Fix your fries.
Rather than asking for medium fries, get an order of onion rings (eight to nine rings). Saves 60

49 Scream for sorbet.
Indulge in chocolate sorbet instead of chocolate ice cream. Saves 125

50 Make whoopee.
Instead of a bowl of ice cream as a bedtime snack, have a robust tussle with your spouse. Burns 300

As always, before starting ANY exercise program and/or diet, check with your doctor and get his approval. This is all about being safe rather than sorry.

And if you feel you are suffering from depression, do know that there are medications available for you. Don’t be embarrassed; this malady goes with the RAT RACE. Therefore, see your doctor, and feel better fast!

Have you started that “Walking” for weight loss and healthy heart routine, yet? There is no excuse for not going it alone, joining with someone, or even forming a group to take that walk at least five (5) times a week and for 40 minutes minimum. So, stop procrastinating and get started. Walk to the tune of Scripture or your favorite upbeat music. And if you prefer the quiet, walk and meditate with the Most High. Just make sure that you make time for your body and soul. You’ll see and feel the difference after just two weeks.

THE 52-WEIGHT-LOSS DIET PLAN

Recently, I heard on the news that soon people will be spending a dollar out of every five for medical expenses. But if we are healthy, we don’t have to fall prey to this reckoning. As we grow older, we gain weight. I am a witness! And guess what? We do not need this extra load we are carrying. Therefore, I am doing something about it.

My friend and I have decided to embark upon a Weight-Loss Plan to lose 52 pounds in one year. We have started by promising to lose one pound a week. Thus, we hope to lose 52 pounds by the second week in February 2007. We have already started, but it’s not too late for YOU to join with us. So, hop on board and be a NEW HEALTHIER, LIGHTER WEIGHT this time next year!

Some of the things we plan to do are:

-limit our intake of “white” foods: rice, bread, potatoes, ice cream, sugar, etc.

-eliminate fast foods and processed foods

-walk at least 3 days a week

-do not eat after 8 P.M. – drink green tea with mint

-eat more fruits and veggies

-bake rather than fry our meats

-drink plenty of water and tea

-weigh in every Tuesday and E-mail the other party the new weight status

A weekly journal is kept of weight lost or gained. And there is no fair or fun cheating.

If you do not need to lose 52 pounds, then adjust the plan to the amount of pounds to lose and time frame appropriate for you. If you need any help, let me know.

THE GREATEST “SPOIL” OF ALL

The Israelites received Reparations for their free labor when they left out of Egypt (Exodus 12:35,36, Psalm 105:37). Note also that Reparations were given to Ezra for the building of GOD’s Temple and for the service of the House of the LORD GOD of Israel (Ezra 7:12 –21). And it is prophesied that we will again receive compensation for our free labor and bondage in this modern-day Egypt (all the lands that took Israelites captive):

How amazing to hear people speak about GOD when they don’t even know HIM, don’t know what HE requires of the man HE formed to inhabit this Earth, and don‘t care to know. They would rather believe in religions that are totally alien to all that this CREATOR GOD exemplifies and would rather live and die for erroneous concepts based on a “faith” not at all ordained by the Most High GOD. How amazing it is that people will not question their beliefs but be led blindly regardless of the inconsistencies and contradictions surrounding their religions. And though they know deep down in their hearts that something is wrong, terribly wrong, they will not seek to know what “Thus Saith the LORD.”

“And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?” Deuteronomy 10:12,13

“Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name. He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.” Deuteronomy 10:20,21

Think not that all the CREATOR GOD required is not required of all peoples, as well.

“Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people. The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.” Isaiah 56:6 - 8

“When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing. Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law: And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.” Deuteronomy 31:11 - 13

The CREATOR GOD is GOD ALL-MIGHTY, and HE proved it with HIS Wondrous WORKS. Everything HE Created was done with perfection including the LAW HE presented to Adam, Noah, Abraham, and the Children of Israel. HE never once altered this LAW, and HE never changed HIS Holy Seventh Day Sabbath or other Holy Days HE Ordained for serving and worshipping HIM. It was man and this absurd belief in “faith” that has the world walking backwards and making this planet absolute Hell!

The fact that there truly exist day and night, rain, snow, and other elements, man to climb GOD’s amazing mountains and sail HIS awesome waters, and a myriad of other wonders of this world (that only the CREATOR could form) proves that there is a GOD. And when we read the “Old Testament,” we are able to connect all the dots and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this CREATOR GOD is none other than the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the GOD whose Angels and Prophets spoke and wrote about HIM in order that HE ALONE would be Honored and Praised FOREVER.

“Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.” Exodus 20:3 - 6

“And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.” Exodus 3:15

“…Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:” Exodus 4:22

It is this GOD of Israel and HIS Righteous Way of Life (Book of the Law) that should be Exalted and Magnified for all HIS Wondrous Works in Creating the Universe, for HIS Power, for keeping HIS Promises, for HIS ability alone to kill and make alive, and for proving HIMSELF to be the ONE True and Living GOD of this Universe.

“Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;” Isaiah 44:24

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.” Deuteronomy 30:19,20

“ Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.” Deuteronomy 32:3,4

“And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel: And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law. “Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.” Isaiah 43:10 - 12

“Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.” Isaiah 44:6

It is time to step back and take a good look at Biblical history and analyze situations and issues that control peoples, nations, and religions in an effort to determine and realize the real Truth of the matter - the GOD’s TRUTH and HIS WORD that HE has left for HIS Chosen People and all peoples who seek to follow HIM!

As we should know from Deuteronomy 28^th Chapter, the Slave Trade was the consequence for forsaking the Holy ONE of Israel and for rejecting HIS Laws, Statutes, and Judgments. As we should also know, we are compelled to return back to these LAWS if we expect our GOD of Israel to return us back to our heritage (Deuteronomy 30^th Chapter). Of course we realize that there are many LAWS that we are unable to keep in Gentile lands. Actually, in exile, no matter how clean we deem ourselves, part of our punishment is to eat defiled bread among the Gentiles, and there is no way of getting around it. However, that’s all the more reason to strive to return to our land and establish our own TORAH Hebrew Community to fulfill our objective to show Our GOD of Israel that we are serious about returning back to HIM and to HIS Walks of Righteousness.

That which we can do is keep GOD’s LAW and HIS Ordinances, HIS Holy Days, that are Commanded of us to the best of our ability taking great care not to add to or diminish from them. Ordinances that we can observe are Circumcision, Dietary Laws, Wear Fringe, Worship the ONE GOD of Israel, Keep HIS Holy Days, etc., etc.. Therefore, this Message focuses on the Holy Days of the Most High CREATOR GOD of Israel and keeping HIS Laws, according to what HE gave HIS Servant Moses to teach to the Children of Israel.

It is safe to say that many who come to know the “Old Testament” seem to think that the burden (yes, burden) to show others the GOD’s Truth is upon them. The problem is they also think to add thus saith their hearts, which is not always THUS SAITH THE LORD GOD OF ISRAEL. For that reason, we have to be aware at all times to be circumspect about following man and careful not to use our own words and our own teachings, as well when it comes to returning back to the Holy ONE of Israel and HIS Ways. Always, ALWAYS I am aware of two verses that keep me from adding my own words to GOD’s Ways of Righteousness – further contaminating HIS Laws, Statutes, and Judgments:

“What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.” Deuteronomy 12:32

“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Isaiah 8:20

The sooner we learn the real significance of these verses, the sooner we will be ready to join with others to make a RENEWED COVENANT to serve and worship the Holy ONE of Israel according to HIS Ways in Truth and in Righteousness.

“And the seed of Israel separated themselves from all strangers, and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers.

“And testifiedst against them, that thou mightest bring them again unto thy law: yet they dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, but sinned against thy judgments, (which if a man do, he shall live in them;) and withdrew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear.” Nehemiah 9:2,29

“They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God's law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes;” Nehemiah 10:29

And if we want Our GOD’s guidance and HIS Protection then, of a Truth, we have no choice but to follow through with living and doing HIS Book of the Law exactly as it is written.

Dry Bones are coming into the knowledge of the Holy ONE of Israel, and some are truly in search of how to serve this CREATOR GOD in sincere efforts to do what’s Lawful and right. Therefore, this Message is written to enlighten those who desperately seek to know this Awesome GOD and who seek to learn how to follow HIS Holy Days. You see, when we earnestly search for Truth, the Holy ONE of Israel guides us and opens our eyes along the way with HIS LAW and with HIS WORD written for us so very long ago but sitting in the “Old Testament“ collecting dust on most people‘s shelves.

“I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalm 16:7,8,11

What we as individuals choose to do after GOD has opened our eyes is essential to our continued enlightenment about this CREATOR GOD of Israel. Unfortunately, it is a fact that Black folks do not like to read. Some cannot, but many who can, still choose to have teachers over them, thereby, if they are not careful, they leave themselves open to learning the imaginations of man’s hearts rather than learning GOD’s LAW. Hence, it behooves us to read GOD’s Book of the Law for ourselves, and pray to Our SAVIOR for understanding. Isn’t that what King Solomon did? And it wasn’t just because he was the King of Israel. Initially, as king, he truly wanted to have knowledge and understanding to Judge the Nation of Israel, and the GOD of Israel granted him his wish because his desire was beneficial for the Israelite stay in the land.

“But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.” Psalm 4:3

“Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.” Isaiah 43:26

Please understand me. I am not saying that we should not come together and study GOD’s LAW together. Actually, this is something we must do. BUT we must join with others with the same desires to be obedient to GOD’s LAW and with the same will to also read and research on our own to make sure that we are not learning the wrong things to do. We must be careful and most cautious until Our GOD of Israel takes us into the Wilderness, where we will be taught of HIS Appointed Pastors.

Reason being, some leaders teach that GOD’s Holy Seventh Day Sabbath starts in the morning and not at sundown. Some leaders permit members of their groups to travel on the Holy Seventh Day of Complete REST. The leader in Israel, Ben Ammi, has his group fasting on this Holy Sabbath Day, adding his own unique style to observing GOD’s Seventh Day, as if he knows what‘s best for Israelites. Some Israelite leaders, if you can believe it, teach out of the “New Testament” and believe in a Messiah (as does Ben Ammi who calls himself “the“ Messianic leader) even though Our GOD of Israel said HE is Our Redeemer, Deliverer, and Only SAVIOR. Some leaders feel that the United States is “The Wilderness of the People” (Ezekiel 20:34-38), when Our GOD specifically said HE would gather us first and then take us into the Wilderness. Some leaders believe that we should determine our Hebrew New Year based on finding mature barley plants, when the CREATOR GOD Commanded that we use the “Lights” in the Heavens to determine our seasons, days, and years. Some believe that the “Dark Phase” of the moon is the First Day of the month instead of the first “Sighting” of the New Moon Crescent in accordance with using the “Lights“ in the Heavens for the start of each new month. Some say that the First Day of each new month always begins on the First Day of the week, and thereby, they cause the Day of REST to alternate from one day of the week to the next throughout the year. And the list goes on, all because we fail to follow the Paths that the CREATOR GOD has already set forth in the beginning of time: HIS Righteous LAW for the man HE Created to follow. Believe it or not, GOD’s LAW and HIS WORD provide ample details in solving these issues IF WE WILL ONLY STAY WITH WHAT’S WRITTEN AND NOT ADD WHAT WE DEEM IN OUR HEARTS TO BE RIGHT! When will we realize the consequences of following the imaginations of our unjust hearts? When will we wake up and see that this world is in horrific shape because of our disobedience to the True and Living GOD? How long will it take before we come to understand that we must follow all that Our GOD said to do and rejoice in HIS Ways?

Few people realize that until the Remnant is gathered in the Wilderness (Ezekiel 20:34 - 48), we do not need leaders over us, as WE DO HAVE A GOD! Upon first learning about my identity and the Holy ONE of Israel, it was probably two – three years before even knowing about any Israelite Congregations. I took it upon myself to read and pray to My GOD of Israel for knowledge and understanding. Herewith, is but a drop in the bucket of knowledge but information that enables people who seek the GOD of Israel to embark on a brand new Way of Life that exemplifies the CREATOR’s Divine, Paths of Righteousness.

GOD’s LAW AND HIS WORD CONCERNING HIS HOLY DAYS AND

HOW THEY MUST BE OBSERVED

“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.” Leviticus 23:1,2

Let me begin by making something perfectly clear: “Holy convocation” is not a Commandment to “gather” or to “assemble” on GOD’s Holy Days. When the Holy ONE of Israel’s intention is for us to gather, HE makes it quite plain by using exact wording that makes it clear that this is what HE wants us to do. Countless times, throughout the “Old Testament,” the Holy ONE of Israel Commanded the Israelites to gather and/or to assemble, but never once did HE use the words “holy convocation,” e.g., Ezekiel 11:17

The GOD of Israel said that every Holy Day should be a “holy convocation,” and this included Passover. However, the meaning of “holy convocation” is misunderstood, and people take it to mean “gather or assemble,” which is incorrect. The correct understanding is to keep these Feast Days “HOLY” and do no work on this day.

The point that I would like to make is the fact that we are Commanded to make Passover a “holy convocation,” yet the Israelites kept it in their houses and could not leave out until the morning to go into their tents, which was for those who had shared a lamb.

“And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.

“And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.” Exodus 12:16,22

However, unlike what GOD Commanded for the First Day of Passover, HE Commanded us to “assemble” on the Seventh Day of the Holy Week of Passover. And please note, that Our GOD of Israel did not use the words “holy convocation.”

“ Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work therein.” Deuteronomy 16:8

Holy Convocation simply means for us to keep GOD’s appointed Observances “Holy” and to do no servile work. To assume that the CREATOR GOD of Israel is telling us that “holy convocation” means to “gather/assemble” is to add to GOD’s intended manner of worship. Also, I must include the fact that “holy convocation” is only found in the First Five Books and nowhere else in the “Old Testament.” It should also be noted that the word “convocation” is of “Latin” origin and, therefore, could never serve to aid in our knowledge of “holy convocation” written in Leviticus 23:1,2. Obviously the misunderstanding stems from the translations of the Scriptures from Hebrew to Greek and then from Greek to English because of those who gathered in synagogues when they should have been in their places resting, as is the Commandment. We do know that there is no record of the Children of Israel ever worshipping in a synagogue and nowhere can we find written by GOD‘s Prophets that they gathered/assembled on this day of Complete REST. Why would the Holy ONE Command the Israelites to abide in their places on HIS Holy Seventh Day of REST if HE intended for them to assemble for worship on this day? Keep in mind that Nehemiah closed the gates just before the start of the Holy Seventh Day (Nehemiah 13:15 - 22), therefore, no one was able to travel to Jerusalem on their asses and in their wagons.

And I will not rule out the possibility that this mistranslation for “convocation” was purposely added to confuse the issue in order that the Chosen People of the CREATOR GOD of Israel would in fact profane HIS Holy Seventh Day by traveling and gathering when we should be at complete REST in our places at this time.

· A self-governing body of the Church of England. George I dismissed it in 1717, due to it having views opposed to his in the Bangorian controversy. It was the historical antecedent of the General Synod of today.

· the assemblies of various universities which are convoked to grant degrees, etc., and in particular various university legislative assemblies, e.g. the Convocation of the University of Oxford or the University of Exeter.

THE CREATOR GOD’s HOLY DAYS THAT HE CHOSE FOR ISRAELITES (AND THE STRANGER) TO OBSERVE IN RIGHTEOUSNESS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

THE CREATOR GOD’s

HOLY SEVENTH DAY OF COMPLETE REST

“Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest,

an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD

in all your dwellings.”

Leviticus 23:3

“See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath,

therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days;

abide ye every man in his place,

let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.

So the people rested on the seventh day.”

Exodus 16:29,30

If we are Commanded to keep the whole LAW, as it is written, without adding to or diminishing from it, then we must observe GOD’s Holy Seventh Day of Complete REST in our places, or if away from home, then in our dwellings.

“Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.” Exodus 23:12

“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. “Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee. Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.” Deuteronomy 5:12 – 14

“If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.” Isaiah 58:13,14

“Thus saith the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem; Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers. But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction. And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein; Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain for ever. And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the LORD. But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.” Jeremiah 17:21 - 27

The Sixth Day or Fridays are set aside to prepare for GOD’s Seventh Day Sabbath. Just as the Israelites gathered double portions of Manna on the Sixth Day in order that they will have enough to eat on the Seventh Day, so also are we to prepare food on Friday (the Sixth Day) for the Seventh Day of Complete REST.

Sabbath foods cannot be re-heated:

“And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them. Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.

Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.”

Thus, it should come as no surprise that the CREATOR GOD of Israel is emphatic and resolved about the Israelites and the Stranger joined unto them abiding in their places, being refreshed, and refraining from doing any work or anything contrary to HIS WORD concerning how we must observe HIS Holy Seventh Day.

“Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no. And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.” Exodus 16:4,5

“And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses. And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.” Exodus 16:22,23

On Friday, the Sixth Day of the week, prepare picnic foods, sandwiches, cake, cookies, fruit, potato chips, etc. and have on hand cold cereals for GOD’s Holy Seventh Day of REST.

Three times in the year shall the Nation of Israel observe GOD’s Feast Days in Jerusalem: Passover, Feast of Weeks, and The Feast of Tabernacles. These Divinely scheduled Holy Days are listed below detailing information regarding how, when, and why they are to be observed. Added is The Memorial of Blowing of Trumpets that is also important in Hebrew Culture.

“Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year. Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:) And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.” Exodus 23:14 – 17

“Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty: Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.” Deuteronomy 16:16

PASSOVER AND THE FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD

“And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,

This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbsthey shall eat it. Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof. And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.”

Exodus 12:1 – 10

“And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying, Let the children of Israel also keep the passover at his appointed season. In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall ye keep it. And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, that they should keep the passover. And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at even in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.”

Numbers 9:1 – 5

“And the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal, and kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in the plains of Jericho.”

Joshua 5:10

The Passover observance starts in the beginning of the Hebrew New Year in the First Month on the Fourteenth Day at sundown and continues for a week in Jerusalem. This is the season we commemorate the Israelites’ Exodus out of Ancient Egypt. It is at this time we show our gratitude and appreciation to the Most High GOD of Israel for Delivering our forefathers out of the House of Bondage. Our gratitude should be well demonstrated for our GOD saving our forefathers out of bondage, as once again Israelites await another Deliverance and Exodus at the Hands of the Most High GOD of Israel, as is prophesied by HIS Servants the Prophets.

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.” Isaiah 11:11

“Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.” Jeremiah 23:7,8

“But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come. For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown: And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded: And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.” Ezekiel 36:8 – 11

“Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.” Ezekiel 36:22 – 28

Many Israelites believe that the sacrifice of the lamb or goat is only for the Levites, but this cannot be true. There were not enough Levites to go around to every house of all Twelve Tribes to kill the lamb/goats on the evening of Passover before Midnight when the GOD of Israel Passed Over. Also, the Commandment was specifically for “EVERY MAN” to take a lamb, “a lamb for a house.”

“Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover. And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.” Exodus 12:21 – 24

Hence, the Passover sacrifice is for every man of the house and is to be observed exactly as it was kept in Ancient Egypt. Otherwise, the great significance of this DELIVERANCE is missed and obliterated!

Many also question whether it is all right to observe Passover in exile, given the fact that GOD Commanded it be kept in Jerusalem. If after 40 years, and the Children of Israel had never kept Passover in the Wilderness, then there would be no Deliverance to remember. So, can we observe Passover in exile? Well, the Israelites did. Although GOD Commanded Passover be observed in Jerusalem, HE also Commanded that the Israelites observe it in the Wilderness before entering the Land, which proves that we can indeed observe it in the lands of those who took us captive – actually, this is all the more reason to keep it with hopes that Our GOD of Israel will again soon, really soon, cause the Second Exodus that HE has promised to accomplish.

Passover is the only Feast Day, whereby the men of Israel in all Twelve Tribes are permitted to sacrifice a lamb or goat on this Holy Memorial that is to be kept throughout our generations forever.

“And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service? That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD'S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.” Exodus 12:26,27

On the Fourteenth Day at even (sundown) we are Commanded to roast our lamb (or goat) and when done, eat it with bitter herbs and unleavened bread in haste, with our shoes on our feet and staffs in our hands. (For all the specific details please read Exodus 12^th and 13^th Chapters.)

Suggested foods for the week of Passover:

Since we must be very careful of what we eat during Passover week, this is the period I have the most difficulty deciding upon what to cook. Therefore, since I do not use any form of leavening, vinegar, or wine at this time, we eat a lot of barley, rice, veggies, legumes, fruit, lamb, fish, unleavened bread, oat meal cookies, etc.

THE FEAST OF WEEKS

“The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into

the house of the LORD thy God...”

Exodus 23:19

“Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,

When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you:

on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish

of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD. And the meat offering

thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil,

an offering made by fire unto the LORD for a sweet savour:

and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.

And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears,

until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God:

it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath,

from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering;

seven sabbaths shall be complete: Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering

unto the LORD. Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves

of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD. And ye shall offer with the bread

seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock,

and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD,

with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD. Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats

for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings. And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits

or a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs:

they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest. And ye shall proclaim

on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you:

ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever

in all your dwellings throughout your generations.”

Leviticus 23:10 - 21

“And they shall not sell of it, neither exchange,

nor alienate the firstfruits of the land: for it is holy unto the LORD.”

Ezekiel 48:14

“And the first of all the firstfruits of all things, and every oblation of all,

of every sort of your oblations, shall be the priest's:

ye shall also give unto the priest the first of your dough,

that he may cause the blessing to rest in thine house.”

Ezekiel 44:30

The Feast of Weeks is the only Holy Day that the GOD of Israel did not give a date for this observance, and this is for good reason. The Land of Israel has three different climates, and not all fields in the land will be ready for harvesting at the same time. Therefore, since we are Commanded to start counting our 7 Sabbaths (Weeks) from such time as we begin to put the sickle to the “corn” (Deuteronomy 16:9), the corn crop might be ready in southern Israel but not in the northern part of the country. Hence, the farmers in northern Israel may start to count their 7 Sabbaths a week or so later than the farmers in areas farther South. Too many Israelites have the false notion that everyone must observe The Feast of Weeks at the same time. Not only that, but some Israelites start counting the fifty days immediately following Passover. Thus, it behooves everyone to take another look at GOD’s LAW and HIS WORD regarding this Feast Day, as of a certainty, this particular Holy Day has no date until farmers will start to count seven weeks for determining when to go to Jerusalem to celebrate and give Thanks to the Holy ONE for the Firstfruits of the land.

It is likewise for Tithing.

“And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD'S: it is holy unto the LORD. And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof. And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD.” Leviticus 27:30 - 32

We need not all tithe the same third year (Deuteronomy 26:12,13). My neighbor’s third year may be one year and mine the next depending upon when we start the three-year count. All Israelites will not return to the land at the same time. Those who arrive first will be the ones to start Tithing first. Those who arrive thereafter, will no doubt start their count out of sequence with others. This process enables the Levites, Stranger, fatherless, and widow to have food, etc. every single year and not just every third year, as the manner would require if everyone chose to Tithe the same third year.

The Feast of weeks is also a Holy Day to give much thanks, Praise, and Glory to the Holy ONE of Israel IN JERUSALEM on the morrow after the Seventh Sabbath, which will always fall on the First Day of the week.

The Firstfruits coming from the harvest after the 7-Week count are GOD’s Gift to the Levites, the Seed of Aaron who minister before HIM.

“And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Behold, I also have given thee the charge of mine heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; unto thee have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, by an ordinance for ever. This shall be thine of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every oblation of theirs, every meat offering of theirs, and every sin offering of theirs, and every trespass offering of theirs, which they shall render unto me, shall be most holy for thee and for thy sons. In the most holy place shalt thou eat it; every male shall eat it: it shall be holy unto thee. And this is thine; the heave offering of their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel: I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it. All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they shall offer unto the LORD, them have I given thee. And whatsoever is first ripe in the land, which they shall bring unto the LORD, shall be thine; every one that is clean in thine house shall eat of it. Every thing devoted in Israel shall be thine. Every thing that openeth the matrix in all flesh, which they bring unto the LORD, whether it be of men or beasts, shall be thine: nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem.” Numbers 18:8 - 15

These Firstfruits are also for the Children of Israel for our good health and nourishment, and we can only begin to eat of the new harvest AFTER we have taken our Firstfruits to Jerusalem to present them to the Levites, the Priests and eaten before Our CREATOR GOD of Israel.

From reading the above passages, we can clearly see and understand that The Feast of Weeks is strictly about Praise of the Holy ONE of Israel and HIS Goodness and Love for HIS Chosen People, the Children of Israel. Canaan would not now be named the Land of Israel had it not been for the GOD of Israel that kept HIS Promises to our forefathers: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to give them this “Land of Milk and Honey.”

“And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

“And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.” Exodus 3:8,17

“That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged. Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey. Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.” Deuteronomy 6:2 – 5

“Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings: Which hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel, and among other men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day; And hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror; And hast given them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey; And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do: therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them:”

Jeremiah 32:19 – 23

“In the day that I lifted up mine hand unto them, to bring them forth of the land of Egypt into a land that I had espied for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands:” Ezekiel 20:6

For HIS Wondrous Blessings upon the Nation of Israel, the Most High GOD of Israel is more than worthy to be Magnified and Exalted before the world. And for all that HE has done for us, HE is quite deserving of our continuous acclaim and Thanksgiving forever and ever. The Feast of Weeks is in honor of the GOD of Israel keeping HIS Promises to give the Children of Israel the Land of Canaan and for HIS enabling us to eat from it the best that Firstfruits can offer (Milk and Honey).

Unfortunately, we are not yet returned from exile, and therefore, we cannot take pride and pleasure in participating in The Feast of Weeks. However, it won’t be long before we will.

THE MEMORIAL OF BLOWING OF TRUMPETS

“Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month,

in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath,

a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

Ye shall do no servile work therein:

but ye shall offer an offering made by fire

unto the LORD.”

Leviticus 23:24,25

“And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month,

ye shall have an holy convocation;

ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.”

Numbers 29:1

Of all GOD’s Holy Feast Days, the Memorial of Blowing of Trumpets might seem vague and of minimal significance. Not at all. The “Trumpet” is as great a symbol of importance in Israel as is the “eagle” in the United States. Our GOD of Israel taught our forefathers how to use the trumpet to send vital Messages to groups within the Nation of Israel.

“Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.” Leviticus 25:9

“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps. And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee. When ye blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go forward. When ye blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys. But when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm. And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations. And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies. Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.” Numbers 10:1 - 10

“And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, andwhen ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him. And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the LORD. And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the ark of the LORD. And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams' horns passed on before the LORD, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed them. And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.”

Joshua 6:4 – 9

“So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.” Joshua 6:20

“Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day. For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.” Psalm 81:3,4

“Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;” Joel 2:1

“Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?” Joel 2:15 – 17

Therefore, we have to realize the sensational meanings of our use of the Trumpet, as it plays an important role in our Hebrew Way of Life.

THE DAY OF ATONEMENT (YOM KEEPOOR)

“Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement:

it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls,

and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD. And ye shall do no work

in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God. For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted

in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.

And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day,

the same soul will I destroy from among his people.

Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever

throughout your generations in all your dwellings. It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even,

from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.”

Leviticus 23:27 – 32

GOD’s Priests, HIS Ministers before HIM, made atonements for the Nation of Israel all throughout the year. But “The Day of Atonement” that GOD scheduled for the Tenth Day of the Seventh Month is for the whole Nation of Israel to observe.

The Day of Atonement calls for a total fast for 24 hours – no food or water during this time. This is the one day a year that Our Merciful GOD gives us to atone for our wrongs committed prior to the tenth Day of the Seventh Month. It’s a day we should look forward to, for after this fast, we get a clean slate. And hopefully we will do fewer and fewer wrongs, so that one day we will have no sins for which to atone.

However, for certain sins, I personally do not believe we are excused, such as profaning the Sabbath, murder, cursing the GOD of Israel, using HIS Holy Name for vanity, and enticing others to serve false gods, to name a few. Thus, we should understand that all transgressions are not forgiven, even though we might keep GOD’s Merciful Day of Atonement.

We should also realize that fasting serves another purpose other than just for afflicting our souls. When we fast with our hearts, we are humbled to be sincere, as we submit ourselves to Our GOD of Israel to confess our sins and the sins of our forefathers. The Holy ONE sees and reads our hearts. And if we turn to HIM in meekness, then HE is more apt to hear our prayers and respond accordingly.

Hence, think not that we must always await the Tenth Day of the Seventh Month to fast for matters that bear heavily on our hearts. Know of a certainty that there is profound gratification and meaning in observing The Day of Atonement, as well as in fasting for a cause if it is done in sincerity.

First and foremost our hearts must be resigned to return to the Holy ONE of Israel and be OBEDIENT to HIS Book of the Law – HIS Ways of Righteousness. By the way, it is this “OBEDIENCE” that gets our GOD’s attention that in turn causes HIM to lead and guide us, keep us safe from our enemies, and that causes HIM to keep us healthy! It’s not mere prayer and dutiful fasting. It’s being “OBEDIENT” and being encouraged and strong in the Way of Life HE established for us. And there is hope for us, indeed; King Solomon made sure of it.

“But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded? Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day: That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place. And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive.

“When thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray, and make supplication unto thee in this house: Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again unto the land which thou gavest unto their fathers.” I Kings 8:27 - 30, 33,34

We have had the greatest authority in Israel to speak for us, as we exist in Gentile lands. Now, all we need do is act accordingly, as our Blessing is already in place that Our GOD of Israel will hear us if we are ready to hear HIM.

THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES

(DWELLING IN BOOTHS)

“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month

shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.

On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD:

on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you;

and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD:

it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.

These are the feasts of the LORD,

which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire

unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice,

and drink offerings, every thing upon his day: Beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the LORD.

Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month,

when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land,

ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days:

on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees,

branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees,

and willows of the brook;

and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.

And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year.

It shall be a statute for ever in your generations:

ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month. Ye shall dwell in booths seven days;

all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths: That your generations may know

that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths,

when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD.”

Leviticus 23:33 - 44

There are many passages to reference The Tabernacles of the Most High GOD of Israel but not on how Israelites dwelled in booths before the writings of Leviticus 23^rd Chapter. This does not mean that Israelites did not dwell in booths. It only means that this information was eliminated (for whatever reason) from the First Five Books of the Law. If Israelites had not dwelt in booths, you can be sure that the Holy ONE would not have mentioned it.

“Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths: That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.” Leviticus 23:42,43

The Feast of Tabernacles is of great importance to the Nation of Israel, and the reason is that while in the Land of Israel, Our GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob would dwell in HIS Tabernacle in the midst of HIS People. This was HIS Place while HE lived among our forefathers.

“And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.” Exodus 25:8 (Please also read Exodus 26^th and 36^th Chapters for details on GOD‘s Tabernacle.)

“And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shalt wash them with water.

“And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons' after him, to be anointed therein, and to be consecrated in them. And that son that is priest in his stead shall put them on seven days, when he cometh into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the holy place.” Exodus 29:4,29,30

“And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my glory. And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest's office. And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God. And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them: I am the LORD their God.” Exodus 29:43 – 46

Thus, GOD’s Holy Tabernacle was of profound significance to our forefathers. Can we even fathom having Our GOD, the CREATOR GOD of this Universe living among us? Just the thought sends chills down my spine. However, again, Our SAVIOR GOD will live among us, and I pray that it will be very soon - sooner than I imagine. And at that time, all Nations will be required to not only bow to the Holy ONE of Israel but also to observe The Feast of Tabernacles, as GOD’s Goodness will extend from the Land of Israel unto the rest of the world if the Peoples of this Earth will follow HIS Ways of Righteousness and observe The Feast of Tabernacles.

“Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.” Isaiah 45:22,23

“For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.” Isaiah 61:11

“But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.” Micah 4:1 - 3

“And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.” Zechariah 14:9

“And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.” Zechariah 14:16,17

We can find one passage that tells us to observe The Feast of Tabernacles 7 days and another that says to observe it 8 days. This is not an error.

“Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine: And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.” Deuteronomy 16:13,14

“Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.” Leviticus 23:36

The eight days enables us to observe the Holy Seventh Day Sabbath in our dwellings during this celebration in order not to profane or bear burdens on GOD’s Holy Seventh Day of Complete REST. When the Holy ONE said that this Seventh Day is “Hallowed,” do no work on this day, and be refreshed, HE meant exactly what HE said. As we well know, The Feast of Tabernacles entails much fanfare, rejoicing, Thanksgiving, offerings, cooking, and movement in GOD’s Holy City. Therefore, having eight days enables us to Rest in our places on GOD’s Holy Seventh Day and observe The Feast of Tabernacles for 7 days, as it is written.

The Feast of Tabernacles was observed millennia ago in Jerusalem and will be observed again when the Holy ONE of Israel will live among HIS People, the Children of Israel.

“ My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.” Ezekiel 37:27,28

“And I that am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast.” Hosea 12:9

“In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:” Amos 9:11

Suggested foods for the New Moons and GOD’s Holy Feast Days:

For these occasions, I only prepare lamb or beef meats. If I can come by goat meat or turtle doves, then I would prepare that, as well. And the reason I would only cook these meats for the Holy Days is that these meats are offered in GOD’s Holy Temple. In addition to flesh, I also prepare salads, veggies, candied sweets, cake, and many other variations of this menu and other recipes. The notion to Feast on GOD’s Holy Days is born out of eating foods you enjoy and giving much thanks to the Holy ONE of Israel for gracing your table with foods from HIS Holy Land. Of course, as a Nation, we are not in the land today, but soon we will be, and for that reason, we need to know the purpose for keeping the Holy Days of the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel from year to year in our generations.

Thus, we have the Holy Days of the Most High CREATOR GOD of this Universe, that so happens to be Our GOD of Israel. Most people have no idea that the True and Living GOD outlined specific days for worship of HIM. They simply follow contrived religious days that have nothing whatsoever to do with the CREATOR GOD.

GOD never Sanctioned X-mas, Easter, Turkey Day, or January 1, when many people flock to their churches. HE did not even Sanction the “New Testament” and X-tianity. And HE certainly did not give any decree for Israelites or any Peoples to worship false gods. The First Commandment is strictly for the worship of ONE GOD, and HE will not have it any other way.

“God spake all these words, saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Exodus 20:1 – 3

“Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.” Isaiah 43:10 - 12

The Paths of Righteousness that this CREATOR GOD Commanded and Ordained are found in HIS Book of the Law (Genesis thru Deuteronomy). Written therein are HIS Laws, Statutes, and Judgments for us to follow if we are to be the Righteous and Holy People that HE Chooses to love and make HIS Own.

“When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing. Gather the people together, men and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law: And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.” Deuteronomy 31:11 – 13

GOD’s HOLY TEMPLE AND HIS HOLY CITY JERUSALEM

“Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's tents,

and have mercy on his dwellingplaces;

and the city shall be builded upon her own heap,

and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.

And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them

that make merry:

and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few;

I will also glorify them,

and they shall not be small. Their children also shall be as aforetime,

and their congregation shall be established before me,

and I will punish all that oppress them.”

Jeremiah 30:18 - 20

As history records, the CREATOR GOD chose Abraham, Isaac, Jacob/Israel and their SEED and established the Land of Israel for them. This True and Living GOD also chose out of this land of Milk and Honey HIS Holy City, Jerusalem, and appointed Solomon, the son of King David to build HIS Holy Temple. This is the only Temple and Holy City in the world that the CREATOR GOD has chosen, and HE has said HIS Eyes and HIS Heart would be there perpetually.

“And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments: Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.” I Kings 9:3 - 5

GOD’s Holy City, Jerusalem, is the place where HE will again dwell among HIS People and where they will rejoice before HIM on HIS designated Holy Feast Days.

“And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by. And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited. Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it. Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock. As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.” Ezekiel 36:34 - 38

The Holy City, Jerusalem is the place GOD’s People, the Children of Israel, and Gentiles will go to bow to HIM and to give HIM the Praise HE so earnestly deserves. Jerusalem is the place where HE wants HIS Priests to minister before HIM and present the daily offerings HE has required of them and to bless the Israelites for abiding by HIS Ways.

“But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come: And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks: And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.” Deuteronomy 12:5 - 7

“… one tribe for my servant David's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel:)” I Kings 11:32

“…O LORD God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee? Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever?” II Chronicles 20:6,7

“And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination.” Jeremiah 2:7

“And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things.” Jeremiah 16:18

“And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I am the LORD your God; In the day that I lifted up mine hand unto them, to bring them forth of the land of Egypt into a land that I had espied for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands:” Ezekiel 20:5,6

“I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen. And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers. And there shall ye remember your ways, and all your doings, wherein ye have been defiled; and ye shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for all your evils that ye have committed.” Ezekiel 20:41 - 43

“And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.” Ezekiel 36:28

“And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:” Ezekiel 37:21

“And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.” Amos 9:15

“And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee. And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.” Zechariah 2:11,12

At the time of the reign of King Solomon, he prayed to the Holy ONE of Israel for the exiled Nation of Israel and for the Strangers who would turn to HIM. His prayer is one of humbleness and utmost concern for all peoples, if they would only worship the Most High GOD of Israel and be obedient unto HIS Laws, Statutes, and Judgments.

“What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house: Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;) That they may fear thee all the days that they live in the land which thou gavest unto our fathers. Moreover concerning a stranger, that is not of thy people Israel, but cometh out of a far country for thy name's sake; (For they shall hear of thy great name, and of thy strong hand, and of thy stretched out arm;) when he shall come and pray toward this house; Hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for: that all people of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as do thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house, which I have builded, is called by thy name. If thy people go out to battle against their enemy, whithersoever thou shalt send them, and shall pray unto the LORD toward the city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house that I have built for thy name: Then hear thou in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause. If they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near; Yet if they shall bethink themselves in the land whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness; And so return unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name: Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause, And forgive thy people that have sinned against thee, and all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against thee, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them: For they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest forth out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron: That thine eyes may be open unto the supplication of thy servant, and unto the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken unto them in all that they call for unto thee. For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.” I Kings 8:38 - 53

“And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before the LORD, be nigh unto the LORD our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require: That all the people of the earth may know that the LORD is God, and that there is none else.

“And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered unto the LORD, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the LORD.” I Kings 8:59,60,63

The Merciful CREATOR GOD of Israel did not put it in King Solomon’s heart to pray this prayer for naught. Given troubled times, people will have no choice but to turn to the GOD that formed the Heavens and the Earth and do as HE has required. And of a certainty, when the days of GOD’s Wrath are ended, we will enjoy HIS Glorious Peace on this Earth, finally!

If I have anything at all to do with it, let it be known that the cost for rebuilding GOD’s Holy Temple and HIS Holy City, Jerusalem, will bear a tag of not less than one trillion dollars. And then we will start to figure on the cost for upgrading all the Land of Milk and Honey. This is not an unreasonable amount. And besides, I truly believe that nations will be happy to make contributions towards a cause that will manifest Righteousness and Magnify and Exalt the True and Living GOD, the CREATOR GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in order that HIS Peace and Happiness for all will encompass this globe.

Moreover, once again there will be a highway home for Israelites and many of us will go over the Jordan River, as we make our way back to our culture and our heritage. And the sooner we return back to Our GOD of Israel and back to HIS Ways, the sooner our journey home will manifest and the sooner our SAVIOR GOD of Israel will finish with the ruthless rulers of HIS Earth.

“All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD:

and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

“For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations.

Psalm 22:27,28

“Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors;

and the King of glory shall come in.

“Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty,

the LORD mighty in battle.

“Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors;

and the King of glory shall come in.

AND OUR DAY TO KEEP IN REST AND AS A SIGN BETWEEN

HIM AND THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL!

“Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made;

and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it:

because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.”

“…the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth

you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place,

let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.”

“…this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways

that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels

As most of you know, I am a firm believer in living GOD’s Book of the Law, and that I strongly stress observance of GOD’s Holy Seventh Day Sabbath that HE proclaimed a “SIGN” between HIM and HIS Chosen People, Israel. To strengthen the great significance of GOD’s Hallowed Seventh Day, HE used this Day of REST to prove HIS People, the Israelites, to see if they would walk in HIS LAW, or no (Exodus 16:4).

It didn’t take GOD long to find out that HIS Chosen People HE had JUST DELIVERED out of Egyptian bondage by HIS Mighty Hand before their very eyes, did not FEAR HIM to be OBEDIENT to HIS COMMANDMENT of the Holy Seventh Day of Rest. The Holy ONE of Israel made no comment when the Israelites left the Manna “til the morning and it bred worms and stank.” But, it was Moses who “was wroth with them.” However, when some of the Children of Israel went out on the Seventh Day Sabbath to gather Manna, this, without a doubt, deeply upset the Holy ONE of Israel.

“And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none. And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?” Exodus 16:27,28

The Israelites had failed their test! It is obvious that the Holy ONE DID NOT want the Israelites leaving their places on HIS Holy Seventh Day of COMPLETE REST (Shabbatone in Hebrew). And for some of us, if this is not understood, then Exodus 16:29 makes GOD’s COMMANDMENT perfectly clear without a shadow of a doubt.

“…the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.”

The questions now become, Is the Holy ONE of Israel still proving us to see if we “will walk in HIS LAW, or no?” Is HE still using HIS Holy Sabbath Day as an indicator, and are we at liberty to violate GOD’s COMMANDMENT “to abide every man in his place on the Seventh Day”? Also, can we be expected to return to our heritage if we do violate this COMMANDMENT?

“Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.” Ezekiel 22:26

Perhaps at this point, I should make readers aware of the basis for this particular post.

Before the recent “KenesiYAH Conference” in Jackson, Tennessee held on November 12 – 14, a notice was circulated stating, “This Conference Stars YHWH King Of The Universe!!”

Because the Conference called for activities on GOD’s Holy Sabbath Day of Complete REST, I knew that most of the attendees, if not all, would be leaving their places (homes and hotel rooms) on the Seventh Day, November 13, to take part in whatever was being offered on GOD’s Holy Day. In my heart, I was immediately critical of this Conference for going against GOD’s COMMANDMENT to abide in our places on the Seventh Day of Rest. Also, knowing fully well that the GOD of Israel is against bearing burdens on HIS Holy Sabbath Day, I thought to challenge the promoter for circulating that “This Conference Stars YHWH King Of the Universe” - words that were clearly construed to draw a crowd but displeased YIHOVAH. And I wasn’t at all in agreement with charging a fee to attend the Conference, either.

However, I, for some reason, changed my mind about contacting the promoter. And in the interim, I learned that the Conference was a success and people had really gotten something out of this gathering. Then I thought to myself how wonderful it is for Israelites to Glory and PRAISE the Holy ONE and rejoice in revering ONLY HIM. I also thought that the GOD of Israel might have been truly pleased with the Conference and that perhaps HE had changed the WAY HE wants us to observe HIS Holy Seventh Day of REST. I told myself that perhaps we CAN indeed gather and teach on this Hallowed Day. Although I had these thoughts, I didn’t seek the Holy ONE for clarification on the matter. And I left it at that without considering putting this notion of gathering on the Sabbath to the test and without further thoughts about the issue until this past Friday, November 19, just a few days after the Conference ended when the Holy ONE of Israel gave me clarification on the matter.

On this Friday, while going about my daily readings, the Holy ONE showed me that we must keep HIS LAW, as it is written or face the consequences. And no matter how zealous and passionate we are about our concerns to worship Our GOD of Israel, and no matter how jubilant and how much Praise and admiration we bestow upon HIM in a Conference, in a parade, or in the privacy of our homes, we have got to remain bound and TRUE to HIS LAWS – ALL OF THEM - to remember to do and observe them, as HE has COMMANDED, for this Divine LAW IS OUR LIFE and is to be kept (as it is written) FOREVER!

“And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law. For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.” Deuteronomy 32:46,47

“Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.” Deuteronomy 11:1

“These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.” Deuteronomy 12:1

“But the LORD, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched out arm, him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship, and to him shall ye do sacrifice. And the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law, and the commandment, which he wrote for you, ye shall observe to do for evermore; and ye shall not fear other gods.” II Kings 17:36,37

The passage the Holy ONE showed me in Scripture that caused me to recall the November 12 – 13 KenesiYAH Conference and the activities held on GOD’s Holy Seventh Day of Rest entailed the relocation of GOD’s Ark. I did not search for this passage. This passage was brought to me…ALL PRAISES DUE TO THE HOLY ONE!

“And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets.” I Chronicles 13:8

Without a doubt, King David and ALL Israel played before GOD WITH ALL THEIR MIGHT with SINGING, HARPS, PSALTERIES, TIMBRELS, CYMBOLS, and TRUMPETS. For sure the Israelites made a great tumultuous noise in sincere PRAISE of the Most High GOD of Israel. And indeed HE was taking notice!

I remember many years ago reading this passage for the very first time thinking about how wonderful it was for Israel to Praise GOD and how pleased HE must have been seeing HIS People exalting HIM with such joyfulness and fervor. But at that time, as I continued reading the chapter, something happened in the passage that I’m sure has caused Israelites and the Stranger alike to wonder why this GOD of Israel would so severely punish a man, during this moment of exultation and joy of HIM, for putting forth his hand to steady HIS Ark. I read on with great sorrow for Uzza, seeking a valid reason for his death.

“And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled. And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.” I Chronicles 13:9,10

The valid reason was and still is KEEP GOD’s LAWS for HE will not forgo punishment if we don’t. For me, this passage was a tremendous wakeup call that made me realize that no matter what…we, Israelites, must take heed to obey all GOD’s COMMANDMENTS, as they are written. And when in doubt, leave the issue alone!

The Conference of November 12 – 14, I’m sure was well organized with the Holy ONE in mind to draw as many people as possible and to make as much money as possible. But given GOD’s LAW of the Holy Sabbath Day to “abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the Seventh Day,” has GOD given HIS consent and endorsed leaving our places, driving cars, teaching, and holding a Sabbath Service on this Seventh Day of Complete REST? Now, since reading the passage about Uzza, I know for sure, the Holy ONE of Israel has not changed HIS LAW of the Sabbath. It is yet valid, and we are bound to it, as well as to ALL of GOD’s LAWS. And like Nehemiah, I remind everyone of how our forefathers profaned GOD’s Holy Day of REST even after having just returned to the land out of Babylonian captivity.

“Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath.”

Nehemiah 13:18

If we are specifically advised to keep GOD’s Sabbath or be punished with death, that our servants, oxen, asses, and cattle are also supposed to rest, as well, and COMMANDED NOT to bear burdens on the Holy Seventh Day of Rest, then we have no business scheduling activities on this Holy Shabbatone (Sabbath of Complete REST Day). If the Holy ONE wanted us assembling on HIS Holy Seventh Day of Rest, then HE would not have COMMANDED us to abide in our places on this Day of REST!!! Surely that makes a lot of sense, right?

“But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.” Exodus 20:10,11

“Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.” Exodus 31:13 - 15

“Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.” Deuteronomy 5:13,14

“And it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the sabbath, I commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should no burden be brought in on the sabbath day.”

Nehemiah 13:19

“But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.” Jeremiah 17:27

Although there is nothing written above about picking up sticks on the Holy Sabbath Day of REST, GOD condemned a man to death for this act (Numbers 15:32-35). Doesn’t this sentence of death expound upon the great importance of observing this Holy Day, as it is written and not according to what we feel is acceptable? Of course it does! GOD is as serious as a heart attack about our KEEPING HIS Holy Seventh Day of COMPLETE REST and about JUDGING us if we profane it. Other than picking up sticks on GOD’s Holy Seventh Day of REST, what else might we do to cause Our GOD of Israel to be angry and “smite” or condemn us to death as HE did with Uzza and the man who was found picking up sticks on HIS Holy Seventh Day Sabbath? What about CARRYING all the books, charts, video equipment, teaching aids, and other paraphernalia we need for instruction and for the operation of the Conference? Who are we fooling? All of us are aware of what it entails to organize and hold a Conference. It takes a lot of WORK, as well as a lot of energy to sustain each day’s agenda, and I am only making reference to the activities that are scheduled on GOD’s Holy Seventh Day Sabbath.

What about the hot meals served at the hotels or at the meeting place on the Holy Seventh Day when we are COMMANDED to prepare on the Sixth Day the food to be eaten on the Seventh Day of REST? What about burdening someone to bear even sandwiches and beverages to drink if food is served at the meeting place? What about getting from the hotel to the meeting place? What about driving or being driven to the meeting place? Think about all the work that transpires on a three-day Conference that includes GOD’s Holy Day of COMPLETE REST.

And when we involve ourselves in all these transactions, we say, “This Conference Stars YHWH King Of The Universe.” I don’t think so! As a matter of fact, I know what “Thus Saith the LORD,” and I know better! According to HIS WORD, HE is not pleased and no more pleased with us than HE was with Uzza, King David, and the others. I also know that Our GOD is not pleased with our charging a fee to hear HIS WORD.

“The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.” Micah 3:11

I see nothing wrong with Israelites devising ways to raise money, but given the above verse, we should keep GOD’s Ways out of such plans, i.e., don’t make money off of the WORD of GOD. By all means, create jobs, have dances, parties, sell dinners, plan spring, summer, and winter attractions, and keep them above suspicion, but don’t include a fee if at all GOD’s WORD is involved. Let us be about following GOD’s Counsel and not that of our own. And I can’t stress enough that it does not entail charging and paying money to hear HIS Truth. When our hearts are right, Our GOD prospers our way. When our hearts are NOT right, there is no peace to the wicked.

When GOD did not pardon what Uzza did while King David and the Israelites were rejoicing before the Holy ONE giving HIM Praise and Glory, then what imaginations of our hearts think we can be pardoned for breaking GOD’s Law of the Seventh Day when HE distinctly COMMANDED us to “ABIDE YE EVERY MAN IN HIS PLACE, LET NO MAN GO OUT OF HIS PLACE ON THE SEVENTH DAY”? Is this not a COMMANDMENT? If you agree that it is, then how can we justify leaving our places on this Holy Seventh Day of REST to participate in any kind of service - Conference, Unity Shabbot or other? The GOD of Israel does not change, and HE is not going to change HIS Law of the Holy Seventh Day that dates back to the end of HIS CREATION.

“Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments: And madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant:” Nehemiah 9:13,14

GOD’s Holy Seventh Day is an anniversary in remembrance of the Six Days it took HIM to CREATE the Heavens and the Earth and all things therein. Therefore, regardless of how much we invest in this day being of spiritual significance in Conferences or other affairs to show forth HIS Praise, we are so wrong to do so. And it’s simply because Our GOD wants us in our places on HIS Holy Seventh Day Sabbath. By the way, if the Conference is on a weekend, there is nothing wrong with staying in our hotel rooms when the Sabbath begins and until it’s over.

After GOD COMMANDED us to abide in our places on HIS Holy Seventh Day, as we know, a man thought it was all right to gather sticks. Today many Israelites feel it’s quite all right to drive cars and use other means of transportation to ASSEMBLE and give Praise and Thanksgiving to Our GOD on HIS Holy Seventh Day, but when we do, we are ever so wrong. Actually, we are dead wrong!

GOD’s LAWS, COMMANDMENTS, and HIS WORD to HIS Prophets speak volumes, and unless GOD stipulated changes, there are no exceptions to HIS Ordinances. Throughout the “Old Testament,” we find that GOD sent HIS Prophets and instructed them to rise up early to go to the Israelites to urge them to return back to the LAW that HE gave to HIS Prophet Moses. I only reiterate that which has already been COMMANDED of us. And we can either accept GOD’s LAWS or contrive justification to circumvent them. If we are in agreement to accept GOD’s LAWS, then we cannot dismiss the LAW to abide in our places on GOD’s Holy Seventh Day of REST. It’s just that simple. Throughout GOD’s WORD, we learn that we must follow GOD’s LAW or face repercussions.

“But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.” Deuteronomy 30:14 - 16

“Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do; but they did them not.” Jeremiah 11:8

Let us not forget that OBEDIENCE to GOD’s LAW should be our highest priority IF it is our intention to return back to our heritage (Deuteronomy 30:1-3 and I Samuel 15:19).

“Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself. Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.” Exodus 19:4 – 6

“But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.” Deuteronomy 4:29 – 31

“And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.” Deuteronomy 27:9,10

“If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.” Deuteronomy 28:58 – 61

“And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day. And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers: If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.” Deuteronomy 30:8 – 10

“Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come? Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.” Isaiah 42:23,24

Thus, I urge everyone to consider ALL GOD’s COMMANDMENTS, especially in regard to holding Conferences, teaching, and doing any other activities on GOD’s Holy Seventh Day of REST since we are supposed to abide in our places on this Holy Seventh Day. NO ONE is in favor of coming together to sing and give Praise to the Holy ONE of Israel, Our GOD and SAVIOR, more than myself – NO ONE! But I would make arrangements for such an occasion to be held on any day but GOD’s Seventh Day of REST! And we have six other days from which to choose for assembling and gathering for Spiritual Reunions.

Enough of seeking the imaginations of our hearts and devising new means and ways to divine and worship Our GOD of Israel. The GOD of Israel has already established how HE wants us to serve and worship HIM: according to HIS LAW and with our whole heart and soul and in Righteousness. Therefore, seek GOD’s Counsel and abide by HIS Ways that HE left written for us to follow. If revelations and the imaginations of our hearts that we embark upon are not in accord with Isaiah 8:20, then these teachings, persuasions, endeavors, events, and doings are not encouraged by Our GOD of Israel.

“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Isaiah 8:20

We must not ever forget that although we are GOD’s Chosen People, “LIFE” is not about the Children of Israel. The ideal “LIFE” (style) is about keeping GOD’s Laws, Statutes, and Judgments and, in doing so, enjoying peace, happiness, and prosperity in our heritage with Our GOD in our midst! This “LIFE,” per se, is the panacea, the Divine Utopia that all peoples upon this Earth should seek for keeping GOD’s Ways of Righteousness and serving and worshipping HIM is with great rewards.

Like many of us, I seek to return to our heritage, and it will only happen when we decide to be OBEDIENT to GOD’s LAWS that HE gave to HIS Prophet Moses for us to live and do. So eager we are to be accepted, recognized, and joined with others, but is this what matters? We must be extremely cautious in all that we do. Praise is comely only for the upright. We can have a thousand with us, but if the Holy ONE of Israel is not with us, then, let’s face it, we are lost!

“The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul:

the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart:

the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever:

the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

IT IS IN VAIN TO SEEK PROSPERITY AND RELIEF IN THIS CAPTIVITY!

Our afflictions result from the curses Our GOD put upon us, and nothing we do will alleviate this misery in America. And sooner than later, we will all come to know this truth. The death, sickness, suffering, and despair among us is too great for us to bear. Thus, it is incumbent upon us to get Our GOD’s attention to hear our supplications and change the times, in order that we will return to HIM and to our heritage and live according to HIS Ways of Righteousness. No one lives for the True and Living GOD. No one is in Jerusalem professing HIS Holy Name and Exalting HIM. And no one is making the sacrifices and offerings HE loves. IF things are to change, then we must start the process. After all, we were formed to show forth GOD’s Praise BUT in the land where HE has ordained Israelites to serve HIM (Ezekiel 20:40,41), and the United States has nothing to do with it! In America, Our GOD won’t let us forget that we were exiled to serve our enemies in their lands for our great sins against Our Loving GOD that gave us everything and more than that. When will we wake up to realize the power of our actions. Our love for our GOD and HIS LAW got us in the land flowing with milk and honey, and our transgressions against HIM got us enslaved under ruthless Gentiles. BUT if we use our energies to live according to GOD’s Book of the Law and appeal to ONLY HIM for Deliverance, rather than succumb to life in Gentile lands, then we can expect, through GOD’s Blessings, a dramatic change in our lives.

“HIS Hand is stretched out still,” and it’s up to us to determine our destiny. The “Dry Bones” CAN live but only if they will turn to the Holy ONE of Israel and live by HIS Book of the Law, as it is written.

Given all the above Scripture, YOU MESSIANICS should realize that we should not be trusting in or magnifying “man” - not any “man” for the Holy ONE of Israel is a JEALOUS GOD, and HE wants all the Praise and Glory for HIMSELF! HE ALONE is Our SAVIOR, and there is none else:

“I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.” Isaiah 43:11

BUT YIHOVAH?

Our Righteous GOD gave us HIS Holy Book of the Law – not the “New Testament” that was established by “man” to support his man-made, very well organized and deceptive religion.

WE DO NOT NEED jc!!!

The TEACHINGS of the GOD of Israel are found in HIS Book of the Law, and in no way do HIS Teachings even parallel those of jc. As a matter of fact, the “New Testament” and the teachings of jc were specifically written and embellished to REPLACE GOD’s Laws, Statutes, and Judgments - hence, the reason for the word “New” in the title of this book!

This is one of the greatest sins one can commit against the Most High GOD of Israel. Not only is GOD’s Law to be kept “to a thousand generations” and “FOR EVERMORE” (Deuteronomy 7:9; II Kings 17:37), but no one can add to or diminish from all that the GOD of Israel has COMMANDED that we should observe to DO (Deuteronomy 12:32)!

Equally as important, “Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them, And all the people shall say, Amen” (Deuteronomy 27:26). Perhaps jc wasn’t aware of this Law!

The “New Testament” and this “man” jc have not only added to GOD’s WORD, but they have disclaimed GOD’s Ordinances and changed them altogether!

“The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.” Isaiah 24:4 - 6

Every man/woman who serves and worships the All-Mighty GOD of Israel knows to Exalt ONLY HIM and HIS Book of the Law, for through meditating in this Righteous Book, one is made wise and, therefore, learns of GOD’s Truth and magnifies it and nothing else!

“And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 32:4

“Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shal make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:7,8

Equally important, the wise will confirm that there is but ONE GOD, the CREATOR, and there is none else!

Finally, when we realize that NO ONE can deliver out of GOD’s Hand, i.e., reverse the CURSES HE put on the Nation of Israel (or anyone else for that matter), then we will understand why the man, jc, is a farce, and thus, was not able to save the “Lost Sheep of the House of Israel,” or establish GOD’s Kingdom. Thus, we also realize why the writers of the “New Testament” conveniently wrote jc completely out of the picture and into a false doctrine and forged sense of hope that lies in the hearts of naïve and badly informed believers!

The Holy ONE of Israel wants HIS People to SERVE, TRUST, BELIEVE, HOPE, AND WORSHIP ONLY HIM! AND HE WILL HAVE IT NO OTHER WAY!

Why didn’t jc know about Amos’ PROPHECIES? Why didn’t he know that GOD had cursed the “Lost Sheep of the House of Israel” (Matt.15:24), and that it would be impossible to SAVE them? And why didn’t he know that we would still be UNSAVED unto this day?! I’ll tell you why. When the tale was woven to establish this false religion, X-tianity, the writers were so busy fabricating what they thought would be a foolproof theology that they neglected to do their homework! They should have researched what “Thus Saith the LORD,” first! How long will intelligent people continue to believe in this “man” jc?

If the Holy ONE of Israel DECLARED that there is NONE TO PLEAD OUR CAUSE (Jeremiah 30:13), then of what value was jc??? Obviously, this man was/is of no value to the Children of Israel at all. Hence, again and again I urge Messianics to turn to the GOD of Israel and believe, hope, and trust in ONLY HIM for HE is the ONLY ONE that has proven HIMSELF to be able to truly SAVE HIS People out of the hands of their enemies.

I live to Exalt the Most High GOD of Israel and HIS Righteous Book of the Law and all because returning to HIM and serving and worshipping HIM (when our forefathers wouldn’t) will cause Our GOD and SAVIOR to return back to us, HIS Chosen People. And LORD knows this “man” jc, or whatever people choose to call him, will have nothing to do with bringing about this disclosure or the Redemption and Deliverance from all the perils upon the SEED of the Children of Israel, as well as the rest of the nations on this Earth for that matter. And the reason is that the man jc, in the “NT,” is too busy shedding light on himself to give Praise and Glory to the Most High GOD of Israel, which is all that this GOD wanted most from HIS Chosen People.

It should be realized that GOD did not let Samuel’s words fall to the ground, i.e., everything Samuel said came to pass (I Samuel 3:19). But this was not the case with the “man” jc, and yet he was/is worshipped and magnified as if he were the GOD of this Universe. And indeed many people think that he is. But if he is a god or if he is “the son of God,” then certainly he should have known that GOD’s Kingdom was NOT at hand (Neizkor 10:5 - 7) – a blunder from which he will never recover!

And since jc could not make this significant call that would have proven his identity and godliness, the wise should know that he is as much a lying prophet as was Hananiah who disputed Jeremiah’s prophecy that the Tribe of Judah would be in Babylonian captivity for seventy years. His claim was that they would be captives for only two years rather than seventy. Consequently, Hananiah paid with his life for making the Judahites “trust in a lie” (Jer
