Broccoli is a dark green vegetable belonging to the cruciferous family. It is rich in fibre, beta-carotene (important for our eyes), vitamin C and vitamin K. Broccoli and other cruciferous vegetables contain phytochemicals which help create immune and antioxidant support in the body. Let us look a little closer
Cancer:
Statistics show that 35% of all cancers are related to dietary factors what we eat, how much we eat, and even how we prepare our foods. The cancers, which seem to be diet-related are cancer of the digestive tract (oesophagus, stomach, liver, colon and pancreas), lungs, breasts and prostate. What this means is that certain cancers could be avoided with the proper diet. The best medicine is preventive medicine, and that is where nutrition plays the largest role. Eating a healthy diet, low in fat and high in fruits and vegetables, does not guarantee that you will not become infected with the disease, but it definitely lowers your risk.
Broccoli has multiple cancer-fighting properties including vitamin C, which is an antioxidant, a substance that can reduce and prevent the damage caused to human cells by free radicals. Free radicals are a "toxic" byproduct of everyday metabolism, but in excessive number, free radicals may be a factor in diseases as cancer, and heart disease. Indole carbinol and sulforaphane are two different phytochemicals that are found in broccoli.
Phytochemicals are naturally-occurring substances in plants, some of which have cancer-fighting activities. Also, broccoli is rich in fibre just ˝ cup delivers an impressive two grams of fibre. The risk for colon and rectal cancers, when consuming a high fibre diet is lower.
WHY FIBRE?
Fibre is
such an important part of a healthy diet and yet most of us still seem to lack
sufficient amounts of it in our daily diets. Dietary fibre has demonstrable benefits for
health maintenance, disease prevention, and as a component of medical nutrition
therapy. Except in certain medical conditions, dietary fibre should be obtained
through foods.
Recommended fibre intakes:
Recommendations for dietary
fibre intake for adults generally fall in the range of 20 to 35g/day. However,
most of us only get half this amount, since many of the daily foods we eat are
not high in dietary fibre. Servings of commonly consumed grains, fruits, and
vegetables only contain between one and three grams of dietary fibre. Legumes and high-fibre cereal products
supply higher amounts of fibre and should therefore be consumed more
frequently.
Benefits of an adequate fibre intake:
The primary action of fibre in the body is in the gastrointestinal tract, but not all fibre sources have the same physiological effects. Generally, water-soluble dissolves in water to form a viscous mixture that binds stools and slows down the passage of food through the digestive tract and thus its digestion and absorption. Some soluble fibre sources slow down the appearance of glucose in the blood. Soluble fibres are rapidly broken down (fermented) by bacteria in the large intestine and do not promote bowel action. Fibres that are predominantly water insoluble retain large amounts of water bound to its undisturbed cell matrix, making it a very effective stool-bulking agent. This in turn promotes quick passage of food through the digestive system and are either slowly or not fermented at all. Two notable exceptions to these general guidelines are oats, and psyllium seed husks, which are a source of soluble fibre. Both of these fibre sources promote bowel action and modulate gastric and small intestine physiology.
More than 75% of the dietary fibre in a diet is broken down in the large intestine, where carbon dioxide, hydrogen, methane, short-chain fatty acids, butyrate, propionate, and acetate are produced by bacterial fermentation. Short-chain fatty acids have been shown to promote growth and healing of the gut lining.
In addition to fibre, fruits, vegetables, grains, and legumes also provide micronutrients that are essential components of healthful diets.

All of Colgate-Palmolive Company’s soaps contain tallow. The tallowates used in these soaps are obtained only from beef tallow. In addition, the glycerin in these soaps is certified as pork free. The following soaps contain no pork or lard and, therefore, are pork-free:

Some of our toothpastes contain glycerin. The glycerin we use is obtained from both internal and external sources. When made internally, the glycerin is made through procedures involving evaporation, distillation and bleaching of a crude glycerin derived from beef tallow, coconut or palm kernel oils.
Much of our glycerin is produced internally; however, it sometimes is necessary to supplement the supply of glycerine by purchasing it from external suppliers. When it is necessary to add to the supply by buying glycerin, external suppliers are carefully selected. The glycerin is only accepted if it meets or exceeds the United States Pharmacopedia (USP) quality standards. Our regular quality control procedures are used to monitor the quality of the glycerin. However, we cannot certify that the original source of the glycerin will always be 100% beef tallow.

EDITORIAL PERSPECTIVE:
SERVES AS A WAKE-UP CALL FOR ISRAELITES TODAY!
No doubt every Israelite
has read King Solomon’s Prayer at least five times, as well has read parts of it
dozens of times, but regardless of the number of times we’ve read it, what’s
important is to internalize the real essence of this phenomenal plea to the Most
High GOD of Israel. This Prayer is unequivocally the most significant and
greatest of prayers in the “Bible.”
Thus, if and when I start teaching “Old Testament Studies,” one of my
first assignments will be to require my students to memorize King Solomon’s
Prayer at the dedication of GOD’s Temple.
And the reason is that it alone is one of the most inspiring and
worthwhile appeals to GOD in the history of the Nation of Israel.
If the “New Testament’s ‘Lord’s Prayer’” is the most famous of all prayers, King Solomon’s Prayer is the most beneficial to Israelites and the Stranger who seek to serve and worship the Most High GOD.
Albeit, the renowned “Lord’s Prayer” serves no purpose whatsoever to anyone, whereas, King Solomon’s Prayer has substance and is binding for all Peoples who wish to know and seek the True and Living GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob for forgiveness and for Deliverance. The following excerpt was taken from the Message “WHO WAS JC, AND DID HE LIE...?” posted on The LawKeepers WebSite:

PRAYER
The so-called "Lord’s Prayer" is another issue that merits mentioning.
The Lord GOD prays? To whom? Never mind… Is this "New Testament" prayer
sufficient for all that we lack and require being Israelites? Does this prayer
encourage Israel to return to GOD’s Law? Does this prayer deal with the
oppression we experience? Does this prayer address saving Israel from our
enemies? Does this prayer deal with our GOD specifically forgiving Israel for
our sins? Hmmm.
If I were the Gentile rulers, I would design such a prayer as this also for my subjects, and I would teach it to them and to their children in order for every last one of them to not suggest one of their own. I would not want them to have their prayers come from their hearts, i.e., one that would be against my being the head and their being the tail. I would have my slaves recite prayers that would encourage them to bless me and teach them to love their enemies and to be forgiving of those who harm them "for they know not what they do." I would teach them a darn good prayer, one mixed with truth to make it believable and one that would keep them oblivious to returning to the True and Living GOD. And I would do everything in my power to perpetuate my being the head and sustain their being the tail for as long as I could. Yes, I’d teach them a prayer and have them recite it every night before they went to bed and every morning when they awoke. And sometimes, I’d even listen at their windows to make sure they would not add or take from the prayer that I’d create for them. And the reason is that the day that they would become wise to my rationale to keep them my slaves, turn to their GOD to follow HIM, and ask for forgiveness for their sins against HIM, is the day that I’d lose my position to control them and this World. Yep, I’d make them oblivious to how to return to their GOD. I would create for them the best darn insignificant prayer ever and give it a real catchy title. I would create for them a "Lord’s Prayer."

The so-called Lord’s Prayer DOES NOT Exalt and Magnify the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and much less, DOES NOT even make mention of this HIS everlasting Name (Exodus 3:15). This prayer DOES NOT denote the importance of living GOD’s Laws, as HE COMMANDS and DOES NOT appeal to this GOD for Israel’s return to our heritage for HIS Holy Name’s Sake. Therefore, the elimination of these very important factors renders this so-called “Lord’s Prayer” absolutely useless!!! Thus, if Israelites wish to employ a prayer of significance, then we require a prayer that addresses our needs and our tribulations.
King Solomon was indeed blessed with Divine Wisdom. He knew the iniquity of the Israelites, and he knew that even their potential to serve the Holy ONE of Israel was without a genuine desire and was thus weak, placing them in great jeopardy. He knew that the Children of Israel would eventually reject the Holy ONE and HIS Law. And he knew exactly what would be their inevitable judgment. For that reason King Solomon prayed at the dedication of GOD’s Temple for the Holy ONE of Israel to be Merciful and hear the prayers of HIS People if they would return to HIM and even if they would be in their enemies’ lands.
In his wisdom, King Solomon prayed for those of us living today that these “Dry Israelite Bones” would live and return to their heritage. Ironically, he appealed to the GOD of Israel millennia ago, so that “WE” (Descendants of Slaves) would know exactly what to do to cause Our GOD to have mercy on us and deliver us from this heinous captivity.
Somehow, I believe that King Solomon knew his fate and that of the Children of Israel. If he didn’t, why else would he have prayed such a profound prayer to Our GOD of Israel?
Now,
thousands of years after King Solomon’s Prayer, we are under the control of
Gentile Nations and barely surviving in a World that is completely manipulated
by cruel and barbaric rulers over us, all because of our disobedience and
rejection of Our GOD of Israel.
Because of our great sins, our people and Third World countries suffer
untold oppression, exploitation, affliction, sickness, impoverishment, and
misery. If King Solomon knew
what our fate would be, as his prayer indicates, then we have to believe that
his prayer was not only a Message for those of us living today, but we must
believe that it also serves as a “SOLUTION” to our dilemma, as
well.
In essence,
King Solomon is telling us to turn to the Holy ONE with ALL OUR HEART –
something he and our forefathers refused to do. Nevertheless, heeding his “WAKE-UP CALL”
is all that it takes for us to get GOD’s undivided attention IF ONLY WE
WILL. Excerpts of his prayer
follows…
“If they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near;
“Yet if they shall bethink themselves in
the land whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication
unto thee in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, We have
sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed
wickedness;
“And so return unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name:
“Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause,

Take note, and please realize that these verses are for and about the Remnant of Israel that’s scattered in the four corners of this Earth due to NOT fulfilling our purpose to serve the Most High GOD of Israel.
Never once have a people – not even the Children of Israel – worshipped the True and Living GOD in Righteousness for any significant period of time. And no “religion” or Way of Life on record worships the Most High GOD according to HIS Ways, and again, sadly, not even HIS Chosen People, the Children of Israel.
We have got to make a change in our lives in order to transform these horrible times in which we live by accepting GOD’s Truth and causing others to know the True and Living GOD through exhibiting HIS Ways of Righteousness. First and foremost, we must resign ourselves to returning to Our GOD – HIS WAY!!! We must set our priority to live HIS Book of the Law (Leviticus 18:5 and Ezekiel 20:11,13), as it is written and in Righteousness. And we must relentlessly face Jerusalem and appeal to the GOD of this Universe, the GOD of Abraham to lead and guide us, so that we can be about fulfilling prophecy that entails PRAISING and Exalting HIM and HIS Holy Name. We must also pray for our return and for Our Holy ONE of Israel to once again be joined in our midst (Ezekiel 43:7). We are HIS Covenant People. HE formed us to fulfill a very important task (Isaiah 43:21). HE needs us to show forth HIS Praise, therefore, HE will hear us IF we turn to HIM in sincerity to do HIS Will.
“Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.”

It is incumbent upon us, the Seed of Abraham, the Children of Israel, and none else to serve and worship the Holy ONE of Israel, and thereby, we must set Righteous examples and represent HIM according to what HE has defined as Righteousness. And we must do so with ONE CONSENT. As difficult as this may seem to accomplish – with so many Israelite groups teaching so many different concepts of GOD’s Ways – worshipping HIM “ONE WAY” can indeed become a reality. And if it were not possible, then Our Holy ONE would not have said that it would come to pass.
“And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:” Jeremiah 32:39
No one can teach us to “FEAR” the Holy ONE of Israel, but “experiencing fear” is exactly what it will take before some of us turn to HIM with a willing heart.
“I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.” Hosea 5:15
We are an intelligent people, and it need not come to seeing death and destruction among us before we turn to Our ONLY Savior.
All we need now is to program our hearts to do what’s written in GOD’s Book of the Law, condemn those who teach the imaginations of their hearts, and remove them from our midst. Then and only then will the Holy ONE help us as we strive to do HIS Will.
“BLESSED is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” Psalm 1:1,2
“A forward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.
“Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.” Psalm 101:4,6
It makes sense that the Holy ONE of Israel will only put HIS Laws and HIS Spirit within the hearts of those of us who seek HIM in Truth and who seek to do HIS Will in Righteousness.
“I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.” Isaiah 45:19
“HEARKEN to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.” Isaiah 51:1
“Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.” Hosea 10:12
“Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’s anger.” Zephaniah 2:3
The rebellious have but one end, and it is to feel GOD’s Wrath, and we know that it will not be pleasant.
“For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? Who hath marked his word, and heard it?
“Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.
