THE HISTORY BEHIND THE PRESIDENT’S “STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS”

The newly sworn in President of the United States made his inauguration speech on Tuesday, January 20^th, and whether or not President Obama will decide to make a speech to a joint session of Congress or schedule an official “State of the Union Address” is undetermined. These are some of the issues that will be on the President’s busy agenda for the next few years:

THE ECONOMY:

1 Unemployment is expected to continue to rise as business cutback or even go out of business.

2 Banks will continue to go insolvent increasing an already tight credit policy.

3 Investors are expected to be very conservative in putting their money on Wall Street because of market instability and shady characters like Bernie Madoff.

4 Economists have already doomed the new President’s “Economic Stimulus Plan” because the US economy is now predicted to move from the “R” word, a recession to the “D” word, a depression.

5 Gasoline prices are slowly rising (OPEC nations lost money on Wall Street, too).

THE WAR ON TERRORISM:

1 Don’t think that just because George W. Bush is no longer President that the war on terror is over. Israel will continue the war on terror and the US follow orders and fight terror in Iran via the advice of Israel’s “war hawk” Secretary of State Clinton.

2 What will the US do with the 270 some odd prisoners currently being held at Guantanamo Bay now that President Obama has announced that he will close that facility within a year.

3 The troop surge for the Afghanistan war and a timeline for the draw down of troops from Iraq.

UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE & EDUCATION:

1 Poor people and under-employed people that cannot afford insurance should be provided adequate health care by the government, end of story.

2 The big US Pharmaceutical companies should be forced to provide affordable brand name or generic drugs so the elderly and poor can purchase the drugs that they need to survive.

3 Government sponsored programs to find a cure for AIDS and cancer.

4 Education funding for successful school districts should be increased, poorer school districts should be upgraded to world class level and bring back the arts program to the school system.

5 Make a college education affordable for the middle class and poor people.

HISTORY OF THE SPEECH:

“State of the Union Messages to the Congress are mandated by Article II, Section 3 of the United States Constitution which states, "He shall from time to time give to the Congress information of the state of the union, and recommend to their consideration such measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient;" Among the many precedents established by George Washington was clarification of the phrase "from time to time." Since 1790 State of the Union messages have been delivered regularly at approximately 1 year intervals.

A seemingly well-established misconception found even in some academic literature, is that the State of the Union is an orally delivered message presented to a joint session of Congress.  With only a few exceptions, this has been true in the modern era (ca. 1933-present, see Neustadt or Greenstein), but beginning with Jefferson's 1st State of the Union (1801) and lasting until Taft's final message (1912), the State of the Union was a written (and often lengthy) report sent to Congress.  Although Federalists Washington and Adams had personally addressed the Congress, Jefferson was concerned that the practice of appearing before the representatives of the people was too similar to the British monarch's ritual of addressing the opening of each new Parliament with a list of policy mandates, rather than "recommendations."  This changed in 1913.  Wilson believed the presidency was more than a impersonal institution; that instead the presidency is dynamic, alive, and personal (see Tulis).  In articulating this philosophy, Wilson delivered an oral message to Congress.  Heath reasons prevented Wilson from addressing Congress in 1919 and 1920, but Harding's two messages (1921 and 1922) and Coolidge's first (1923) were also oral messages.  In the strict constructionist style of 19th Century presidents, Coolidge's remaining State of the Unions (1924-28) and all four of Hoover's (1929-32) were written.  Franklin D. Roosevelt established the modern tradition of delivering an oral State of the Union beginning with his first in 1934.  Exceptions include Truman's 1st (1946) and last (1953), Eisenhower's last (1961), Carter's last (1981), and Nixon's 4th (1973).  In addition, Roosevelt's last (1945) and Eisenhower's 4th (1956) were technically written messages although they addressed the American people via radio summarizing their reports.  Any research design should recognize these facts.

Also, the three most recent presidents (Bush, Clinton, and G.W. Bush) addressed a joint session of Congress shortly after their inaugurations but these messages are actually not considered to be "State of the Union" addresses. Bush's 1989 and Clinton's 1993 messages are called "Administration Goals" speeches, and G.W. Bush's 2001 speech is actually his "Budget Message."  For research purposes, it is probably harmless to categorize these as State of the Union messages since the impact of such a speech on public, media, and congressional perceptions of presidential leadership and power should be the same as if the address was an official State of the Union.  These speeches are included in the table below with an asterisk.

An additional fact is that the State of the Union is delivered near the beginning of each session of Congress.  Before 1934 this meant the State of the Union was delivered usually in December, near the end of the 1-4 years following the president's inauguration. Since 1934, the State of the Union is delivered near the beginning such year, with some presidents delivering a final message at the end of their last term (Truman, Eisenhower, Johnson, Ford, and Carter).  The table below reflects each message's placement in this form of "political time."

Finally, President George W. Bush delivered a State of the Union Address on January 28, 2008. It was widely stated that this was his last address before leaving office on January 20, 2009, but assuming this is incorrect. Bush has the right to deliver either a written or oral State of the Union in the days immediately before leaving office in 2009. Presidents Truman, Eisenhower, Johnson, Ford, and Carter chose to do so. Presidents Reagan, Bush, and Clinton, chose not to.”

Tribute to the New Moon Revised:

The service of this solar/lunar calendar of TORAH READINGS is by definition using the “LIGHTS” of the sun and moon, according to Genesis 1:14, to number the “days” of each month. And the dark phases of the moon cooperatively and conveniently provide a break between the months. If there were no dark phases of the moon, we would have a tough time determining when one month ended and when another would begin. Hence, because the Commandment is to use the “Lights” in the Heavens for “Signs” for seasons, days, and years, the New Moon Crescent is what provides us with our first lights of each new month and these lights continue waxing and waning until they are diminished to the dark phases. And then in two to three days, the New Moon Crescent reappears again starting the First Day of another new month.

Realizing that even some Israelites use the dark phase of the moon to call the new month, I would like to add one obvious fact. By definition, there can only be a “New Moon,” per se, after the dark phase interval and when the New Moon Crescent reappears, thus, we understand the concept of having a “New” moon.

If the dark phase of the moon begins the First Day of the month, then when the New Moon Crescent is “Sighted” that could approximately be as far into the month as the Fourth Day, i.e., the appearance of the “Light” in the Heavens could possibly fall on the Fourth Day. It makes no sense to start to count the first dark phase of the moon as being the First Day of the month, as this process disregards the use of the “Light” in the Heavens to determine our “days,” as we are Commanded to do in Genesis 1:14. Consider what King David said in I Samuel 20:24: “…when the New Moon was come…” He had to be speaking about the New Moon Crescent, as we are unable to “Sight” the appearance of the dark phase or rather see it “come.”

It’s the absence of seeing the moon for forty-eight or more hours that enables us to identify the approaching Crescent “Sign” in the Heavens (mentioned in Genesis 1:14) that recognizes the moon as being “New.” And upon “Sighting” this “New” Crescent” we distinguish it as being the “New Moon” and the time of the New Month, as well.

PLEASE NOTE: The Hebrew New Year is also determined by the “LIGHTS” in the Heavens and not by the “sighting of barley,” as some Black Hebrew Israelites and European “Jews” advocate.

START THE NEW MOON WATCH ON THE EVENINGS OF

BY LOOKING IN THE “WEST” JUST ABOVE THE HORIZON.

The first “Sign” in the Heavens to provide the start of days, years and “seasons” can only begin with the “Sighting” of the New Moon Crescent - that which we can “see” in order for it to serve as a “Sign” and enable us to begin counting our days and months. Just imagine not being able to “see” the moon at all. How then could it be appointed for a “Sign” or for “seasons”?

“The natural thought might be that the moon is like a living being. It is born, grows, reaches maximum size, then fades and dies, going through all these stages in one month. Even today, we still talk of the thin crescent in the western sky as a new moon and the thin crescent in the eastern sky a month later as the old moon. Half way between is the full moon. As I explained earlier, this cycle of phases of the moon established the month as a unit of time, and the first calendars were based on this.” ISAAC ASIMOV’S GUIDE TO EARTH AND SPACE, pages 79 and 80

In that the King of Israel is supposed to be a “Righteous Judge” (II Chronicles 1:11), it stands to reason that he is also supposed to be a “Righteous Role Model.” Thus, if the King that GOD appoints over Israel observes a “feast” on the day of the New Moon, then wisdom tells the Nation of Israel to do likewise. King Saul and the anointed David observed this service (I Samuel 20th Chapter).

To their and our hurt our forefathers worshipped all manner of symbols: the sun, moon, stars, and images of gold and silver. To observe the “Sign” in the heavens as being the New Moon “Sighting” is NOT worshipping the moon, but rather it is doing as we are COMMANDED in Genesis 1:14:

“And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:”

Some people feel that the moon has no “light,” but according to GOD’s WORD to HIS Prophets, it most certainly does: Isaiah 13:10; Isaiah 30:26; Jeremiah 31:35; Ezekiel 32:7.

and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.”

Numbers 10:10

Contrary to the belief of some Israelites, the moon does indeed shine! Even if the Moon shines with the aid of the sun, i.e., reflects the light of the sun, IT STILL SHINES! And the fact that Scripture attests to this fact, is what’s important: Isaiah 60:19; Jeremiah 31:35; and Ezekiel 32:7. Therefore, Genesis 1:14 is proof enough that we must use the shining New Moon Crescents as “…SIGNS, AND FOR SEASONS, AND FOR DAYS, AND FOR YEARS:”

Some Israelites, along with White Jews, use the dark phase of the moon to determine the start of a new month. If the dark phase of the moon lasts for “2-3 days,” then which of these days is supposed to be the distinguishing “Sign” that determines the First Day of the month? Or do we just arbitrarily select either/or depending on the imaginations of our hearts?

On the contrary, with the use of the sighted “Sign” of the New Moon Crescent in the Heavens we eliminate any confusion as to which day IS the First Day of the month.

“So David hid himself in the field: and WHEN THE NEW MOON WAS COME, the king sat him down to eat meat.” I Samuel 20:24

At the time of the dark phases of the moon (generally 2-3 days), as previously written, there is no “moon” in SIGHT. Therefore, I Samuel 20:24 sheds more light on Genesis 1:14. “WHEN THE NEW MOON WAS COME,” is clearly telling readers that this is a reference to a visible “Moon Crescent Sighting” - the light in the firmament…i.e., the “Sign” for (lunar) days. Thus, if we are to count all the lunar days (29.5) in a month, it only makes sense to start counting from the New Moon Crescent “when the New Moon was come” and NOT from the dark phases at the end of the month, which do not emit any “sign” or “light” in the heavens.

The only problem that presents itself when using the “New Moon Sighting” to call the First Day of the month is cloud coverage, as this prevents the ability to see the New Moon Crescent. Nonetheless, when “Sighted,” one can easily distinguish the New Moon Crescent from all the other phases due to its thin sliver and its low position in the heavens. And the reason is that no two days or rather phases of the visible moon are alike. Hence, to use the New Moon Crescent as the “Sign” in the heavens, as we are COMMANDED to do for our seasons, days, and years, negates the belief that the “commandment was given to the luminaries.” The “luminaries” fulfill GOD’s Commandments: the sun shines and the moon orbits the Earth. They have no need to determine seasons, days, and years. Hence, our New Moons are obviously of more spiritual significance to the Nation of Israel than we are aware. And for sure, the TRUTH concerning them are in GOD’s WORD to HIS Prophets/Seers - not the White Jews or other Gentiles. All we need do is use wisdom, discern what’s written in Scripture, accept it, and act accordingly!

“Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the LORD on the altar of the LORD, which he had built before the porch,

“Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.” II Chronicles 8:12,13

Unless there is an emergency, please try not to buy or sell on this day. Conduct all financial and business transactions prior to the day of the New Moon. Interesting enough, II Kings 4:23,24 constitutes the New Moon as being a day to seek “the man of God.” Although the New Moon is NOT a Day of Rest, Our GOD did set it aside for recognition:

“Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.” Psalm 81:3

“And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 66:23

“…When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn?…” Amos 8:5

Probably, the Scripture that most determines and clarifies the fact that our New Moons are Feast Days is Ezekiel 45:17:

“And it shall be the prince’s part to give burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the NEW MOONS, and in the Sabbaths, in ALL SOLEMNITIES of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the HOUSE OF ISRAEL.” (Caps. are mine.)

Unequivocally, our New Moons are included in these “SOLEMNITIES” mentioned in Ezekiel 45:17.

“Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the door of this gate before the LORD in the Sabbaths [Feasts – NOT 7th Day Sabbaths*] and in the NEW MOONS.” Ezekiel 46:3 (Brackets are mine.)

Thereby, this verse justifies the First Day of each month being our “Feast” Day. It should be realized that the Feast Days that Our GOD selected (Leviticus 23rd Chapter) are “Holy Convocations,” i.e., on these days we cannot do any work. However, because King Saul observed the New Moon as a Feast Day, we have every reason to do so, as well. We also have learned that our forefathers traveled to the Temple to worship the Holy ONE on the New Moon (II Kings 4:23; Ezekiel 45:17; and Ezekiel 46:1), and when HE has HIS Temple rebuilt, then we will again be able to resume this service and worship.

When we return to our heritage and worship YIHOVAH according to HIS Ways, then we can establish our own “Calendar of the Universe,” whereby, the days of the New Moon and all GOD’s Holy Days will be recognized by the whole entire World. And I am sure that it will be the desire of the Righteous Remnant and ALL the world to make a Feast to the Most High GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel every First Day of the Month.

ALSO, I believe that if Lot (Genesis 19:3) and Abraham (Genesis 21:8) can proclaim “Feasts,” then there is no stipulation for NOT establishing Feast Days, as we so desire. Therefore, to proclaim a feast to EXALT the Holy ONE of Israel on the First Day of each month is quite acceptable - given the Scripture (above) regarding worshipping Our LORD GOD of ISRAEL, Our SAVIOR, on the New Moons. We should know that throughout the Tanakh Hebrew Israelites called for “feasts” for various occasions. Therefore, we are within our rights to observe a Feast every New Moon to Our GOD, the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel. And those of us who love this WONDERFUL GOD and who choose HIM to EXALT HIM for being the ONLY LORD and SAVIOR can be at liberty to use the day of the New Moon to show forth HIS PRAISE in a “feast” and worship HIM in Jerusalem FOREVER.

“And Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and offered up burnt offerings, and offered peace offerings, and [he] made a feast to all his servants.”

I Kings 3:15

A Tribute to GOD’s “HOLY” Seventh Day Sabbath of Complete REST - HIS WEEKLY ANNIVERSARY OBSERVANCE and SIGN between HIM and Israelites for HIS CREATION of the Heavens and the Earth:

“Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath,

to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever:

for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth,

and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.”

Exodus 31:17,18

Since we know for a fact that GOD’s Holy Seventh Day Sabbath is a “Sign” between HIM and Israel, why take any chance to profane it? Every passage about the Holy Sabbath of COMPLETE Rest stands strong in support of GOD’s Commandment to abide in our places on the Seventh Day (Exodus 16:29) – ever last one of them – including the passage in Jeremiah where we are Commanded to “Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the Sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;” Jeremiah 17:21 (Please read verses 21 to 27.)

Perhaps the wise thing to do would be to define the word “burden.” But more importantly, we need to determine whether or not Exodus 16:29 is a Commandment or not. And if it is determined to be one, then we should Fear the GOD of Israel and be obedient to what HE has Commanded of us.

“But the LORD, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power

and a stretched out arm, him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship,

and to him shall ye do sacrifice. And the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law,

and the commandment, which he wrote for you,

he shall observe to do for ever more;

and ye shall not fear other gods.”

II Kings 17:36,37

Why must we debate that which is clearly written for us to do and for very good reason, if we will only consider and think about it? The Holy ONE wants us to be first to observe HIS weekly Anniversary of Creation, which is to keep HIS Holy Seventh day at REST, as HE did, in order that we might be REFRESHED!

“REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY, TO KEEP IT HOLY”

Exodus 20:8

“See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.” Exodus 16:29

“And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.

“Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.” Exodus 35:1,2

“Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation [“HOLY DAY”]; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.” Leviticus 23:3

“Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.” Exodus 31:15 - 17

“And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.” Genesis 2:2,3

Significantly, in the beginning when the Holy ONE of Israel established this Sabbath Day of COMPLETE REST and when HE clearly COMMANDED the Children of Israel in the Wilderness to observe this Holy Day, HE MADE NO EXCEPTIONS!

If “ALL” GOD’s COMMANDMENTS are sure, then for sure, we must give credence to Exodus 16:29 and abide in our places on GOD’s HOLY Seventh Day of Complete REST as we are COMMANDED TO DO!

“He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen. The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.” Psalm 111:7

GOD’s Holy Seventh Day Sabbath of REST is not only one of HIS Greatest WORKS of all time, but this Holy Day is an extraordinary “SIGN” between this Most High GOD, the CREATOR and HIS Chosen People, the Children of Israel! This Seventh Day also marks the Anniversary of GOD ending the Creations of the Heavens, Earth, man, and all that is therein.

“Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.” Genesis 2:1 - 3

“And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, Tomorrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake today, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.

“See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.” Exodus 16:23,29

“And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.” Exodus 24:12

“Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should DO SO IN THE LAND whither ye go to possess it.” Deuteronomy 4:5 (Caps. are mine.)

CONSIDER ALSO the fact that the CREATOR GOD of Israel only Commanded that we go to Jerusalem “THREE TIMES in the year”. Had the Holy ONE wanted us to travel to Jerusalem on HIS Holy Sabbath Day of COMPLETE REST, HE would have Commanded that, as well. Thus, given Exodus 16:29, we have to realize, understand, and accept the fact that it was never HIS intention for us to travel and/or leave our places on HIS most Holy Seventh Day.

“Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year. Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:) And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.” Exodus 23:14 - 17

“Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast” Deuteronomy 16:16

There is no Scripture indicating that Israelites traveled to Jerusalem on GOD’s HALLOWED SEVENTH DAY.

THE PLACE THAT OUR GOD OF ISRAEL CHOSE IS THE HOLY CITY JERUSALEM.

The Israelite Way of Life was set in stone in the Wilderness, as to how we are Commanded to prepare to live according to ALL GOD’s LAW, as well as for HIS Holy Seventh Day Sabbath of Complete REST, i.e., how we are supposed to keep it, as well as the consequences for profaning it. And there are no exceptions.

CONCERNING “HOLY CONVOCATION”

The issue stemming from the meaning of “Holy Convocation” written in Leviticus 23^rd Chapter is real, and the interpretation is grossly misunderstood. “Holy Convocation” does not mean “To Gather.” And the sin committed by traveling and gathering on the CREATOR’s Holy Sabbath of Complete REST has grave consequences (Exodus 31:12 - 18).

Conclusive evidence that “holy convocation” DOES NOT mean to assemble is provided in the passage on Passover. In Exodus 12:16 we are told that Passover is a “holy convocation” but yet, we are Commanded to observe this High Holy Day with our immediate families and only to join with another family if one’s members are too few for the lamb (Exodus 12:4). This proves without a doubt that “holy convocation” cannot mean to assemble, but rather to keep the holy days “HOLY.” Some call attention to the fact that because Israelites were Commanded to ”…turn in the morning and go into their tents” (Deuteronomy 16:5-7) that this is proof of an assembly. Those Israelite families that joined with others are the ones GOD Commanded to return to their tents.

The Holy ONE of Israel DOES NOT contradict HIMSELF! HE would not COMMAND us to “Rest” on the Sabbath Day of Rest and also Command us to “abide ye every man in your place on the seventh day,” and then confuse us by telling us to “assemble” on the “rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD.” This would make absolutely no sense whatsoever. Therefore, if the Holy ONE of Israel said don’t bear a burden on the Sabbath Day of Rest (Jeremiah 17:21,22) and that our asses (used for travel) had to also rest, then for sure we have to “abide in our places…on the seventh day.” Thus, using our cars and paying tolls and public transportation on GOD’s Holy Seventh Day of Rest is absolutely forbidden! And walking to the Temple or to any meeting place was and still is out of the question all because GOD’s Seventh Day is specifically to be kept as a DAY of “COMPLETE REST” - Shabatone (as is written in Hebrew).

The wise, obedient ones understand the great importance of observing this Seventh Day of Rest exactly as GOD Commanded and will not add to or diminish from this Law of the “Blessed,” “Sanctified,” and “Holy” Seventh Day Sabbath.

Health: More Than Just Food

Praise YHWH the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all HIS benefits-who forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases

O YHWH my GOD, I called to you for help and you healed me.

When we think of prayer while in ill health sometimes we are just appealing because we feel the pain of disease and search for comfort. Perhaps we would benefit more from prayer to our SUPREME if we would pray in times of good health as well as in ill health.

When we feel good we often forget that it is YHWH who sustains us in all our ways. When we think of health we must think of health of mind, soul, body and spirit. For without looking at all components of our blessings, we lack an understanding of how significant they all work together.

When we are born YHWH gives us the breath of life and we become. Our caretakers and custodians, who are our parents, and significant others, as well as health care givers feed, bathe, comfort, and nurture us until we eventually take care of ourselves. By brushing our teeth we come to know that it prevents tooth decay. We wash our bodies to get rid of excess oils, old skin cells, and germs. We cover our mouths and nose when we sneeze to prevent the spread of germs to others. We learn of these ways to take care of our bodies and protect it from disease and ill health.

When we mature we are bombarded with environments filled with disease, contaminants and pollutants and yet we thrive in spite of these. But these same contaminants can be behaviors as well. These can affect the mind and spirit. Words can be as deadly as instruments applied to the physical self. Words can hurt the mind, the soul, body and spirit.

How many times have we heard, “You are nothing”, “You will never amount to anything”, “You are ugly”, “You are too Black”, “You are dumb”? Words once uttered cannot be unspoken, so be extremely careful about the words which come from your mouth. I read once, that words from your mouth should always be sweet because you never know when you’ll have to eat them.

When we behave indifferently and hurtful to others we contribute that to stress which has been attributed to hypertension, backaches, headaches, and other maladies. Our need to feel better then the next person may cause us to behave in a way that might be this pollution or contaminant we attribute to the environment. So always be mindful and aware at all times as to how our own behavior may manifest itself everyday to others.

In this new atmosphere of continuing want and need based on a failing economy one is apt to forget how our mental health could be affected by those caught up in a frenzy over how best to survive in it.

It also includes finding wellness by implementing and staying attuned to and in tuned with what YHWH has continuously provided us with and taking advantage of it by utilizing them. But most of all health means to practice what THUS SAITH YHWH.

May YHWH continue to give us the fuel by which we are energized and find comfort. And may YHWH continue to sustain our mind, body, soul, and spirit.

Salmonella peanut product recall grows

More than 125 products have been pulled back. The outbreak has sickened hundreds and may have killed six.

More than 125 products have been recalled in an investigation into a deadly salmonella outbreak linked to peanut butter used in processed foods and in institutions, with dog biscuits and diet granola bars among the latest on a list that is growing.

And growing.

· Peanut butter cookie dough sold to raise school funds is recalled

"I don't think we can determine how many more" products will be recalled, Stephen Sundlof, director of the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition at the Food and Drug Administration, said Wednesday. The outbreak has sickened hundreds and may have killed six people.

The FDA, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and state officials have traced sources of Salmonella typhimurium contamination to a plant in Blakely, Ga., owned by Peanut Corp. of America, which makes peanut butter and peanut paste made of ground, roasted peanuts.

Those products are distributed to food manufacturers to be used as ingredients in such processed foods as cakes, cookies, crackers, candies, cereal and ice cream. Peanut butter from the plant also is shipped to institutions, including long-term care facilities and cafeterias.

The company has stopped production at the Blakely plant, the FDA said.

Over the weekend, the CDC interviewed 57 people who had become ill, as well as hundreds of healthy people, about what they had eaten, said Dr. Robert Tauxe of the CDC, who joined Sundlof in a telephone conference call with reporters.

Tauxe said information from the interviews led the agency to packaged peanut butter crackers. Additional investigation led to crackers that Kellogg Co. had recalled the day before those interviews took place.

On Sunday, Peanut Corp. expanded its voluntary recall to include more products and lot numbers of products from the plant manufactured on or after July 1. Company records of suppliers and customers have been turned over to federal authorities, Sundlof said.

Asked whether the Georgia plant was thought to be the sole source of the outbreak, Sundlof said, "That is our assumption at this point."

In its investigation of the outbreak, inspectors found salmonella at the Blakely plant, but it was a different strain than the one implicated in the illnesses, Sundlof said. One sample was found in a floor crack near the washroom. A second was found on the floor near some pallets.

Even though the strain is different, Sundlof said, "those salmonella are not supposed to be there."

In a statement released Wednesday, Peanut Corp. said it was cooperating with federal and state officials and working to ensure the safety of consumers.

"We will address the agency's findings when they are shared with us," it said.

Peanut Corp. buys peanuts from several sources, domestic and abroad; it buys some peanuts already roasted and roasts some itself, Sundlof said.

As of Wednesday, 486 people in 43 states and Canada, including 62 in California, had become sick from salmonella, which can cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and other problems.

Of those, 107 were hospitalized. Six deaths may be associated with the outbreak, Tauxe said. The most recent onset of illness was Jan. 8.

"More cases are being reported every day," he said. "The outbreak appears to be ongoing."

Major national brands of jarred peanut butter are not affected, the FDA said.

Peanut butter is used in "a huge variety" of foods, and tracking them down "is a very large and ongoing undertaking," Tauxe said.

If consumers cannot determine if a particular product contains any suspect ingredients, the FDA recommends they throw it out -- and do so in a way to prevent anyone else from eating the product. The agency has a searchable list of products and brands associated with the recall.

NutriSystem Inc., based in Horsham, Pa., on Wednesday announced a voluntary recall of some of its peanut butter granola bars because they contain peanut butter made by Peanut Corp.

"NutriSystem is no longer using PCA as a peanut butter supplier," the company said in a statement. The company also said none of its customers had reported problems.

The recall also includes seven PetSmart dog biscuit products. That company also said the move was precautionary and that it was unaware of any illnesses among pets that ate its products.

The risk to animals is minimal but possible, the FDA said. A pet could suffer fever, vomiting and other symptoms or show no symptoms but still infect others.

People who handle contaminated pet foods also could be at risk, the FDA said.

A local company, Sweet Success Fundraising in Ontario, also decided to take no chances and issued a voluntary recall, spokeswoman Lilly Ceja said Wednesday.

She said 170 tubs of frozen cookie dough sold to raise money for schools, distributed between Dec. 8 and Jan. 8, came from a company that used products on the list from Peanut Corp. She thinks the cookies already have been baked and eaten, but the few callers who contacted the company were told to toss out the dough and given refunds.

"If one person became ill from it, that's not acceptable," Ceja said. >From now on, she added, Sweet Success will probably stick to raising money with wrapping paper or magazine sales.

That food label could be a costly lie

Foods masquerading as something else -- a more nutritious something else -- have been big news in the past two years. Chinese food companies in particular have been blamed for making deadly alterations to dairy, baby and pet foods by adding melamine. The chemical makes it appear that the food or beverage has the required level of protein.

But what about food producers in this country? What fraudulent foods do U.S. consumers have to fear from American companies?

Experts say dangerous U.S.-produced foods are comparatively few, but producers have been known to practice "economic adulteration" -- adding a little to their bottom line by padding, thinning or substituting something cheap for something expensive. "

The U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Food and Drug Administration regulate the food industry, but with safety issues to deal with, economic adulteration has "really been back-burnered," says Bruce Silverglade of the non-profit Center for Science in the Public Interest. So in a "caveat emptor" world, what should consumers look out for?

Seafood

Fish is the most frequently faked food Americans buy. In the business, it's called "species adulteration" -- selling a cheaper fish such as pen-raised Atlantic salmon as wild Alaska salmon.

When Consumer Reports tested 23 supposedly wild-caught salmon fillets bought nationwide in 2005-2006, only 10 were wild salmon. The rest were farmed. In 2004, University of North Carolina scientists found 77 percent of fish labeled red snapper was actually something else. Last year, the Chicago Sun-Times tested fish at 17 sushi restaurants and found that fish being sold as red snapper actually was mostly tilapia.

"It's really just fraud, plain and simple," says Gavin Gibbons of the National Fisheries Institute, an industry group.

One thing consumers don't need to worry about is scallops. Tales of skate wings cut into circles and sold as scallops are common. But Randolph says the FDA has never found an actual case of it.

Salmon is tricky. Randolph does have one tip, though. Farmed salmon gets its coloring from dyes added to food pellets the fish are fed, while wild salmon gets it from the plankton they eat.

"When you cook it, the wild salmon retains its color, and in the aquaculture salmon, the color tends to leak out," she says. Suspicious consumers can call the FDA's Center for Food Safety and Nutrition hotline at 1-888-SAFEFOOD.

Olive oil

This luxury oil, touted for its heart-health properties and taste, has become a gourmet must-have. Americans consumed about 575 million pounds of the silky stuff last year, according to the North American Olive Oil Association. Sixty-three percent was the higher-grade extra virgin, which comes from the first pressing of the olives.

It's also one of the most frequently counterfeited food products, says Martin Stutsman, the FDA's consumer safety officer for edible oils.

There are no national figures on olive-oil fakery. But after complaints, Connecticut began testing two years ago. "We were coming across a lot of products labeled as extra-virgin olive oil that contained up to 90 percent soybean oil," says Jerry Farrell Jr., Connecticut's commissioner of consumer protection.

Most name brands were fine, Farrell says. It was often off-brands sold in discount stores that were the problem.

Connecticut was so concerned that in November, it became the first state in the nation to set standards for olive oil, enabling officials there to levy fines and pull adulterated products off store shelves. California is set to create its own standards this year. Reports from panels of testers have found as much as 60 percent to 70 percent of the olive oil sold as extra virgin in the state is a lower-quality olive oil, says Dan Flynn of the Olive Center at the University of California-Davis.

The easiest thing is for fakers to add 10 percent vegetable oil in extra virgin, says Stutsman. "It will still smell as it should, but you've saved 10 percent of the cost."

Bob Bauer, president of the North American Olive Oil Association, says it's more of a problem in restaurants than in supermarkets.

Honey

An expensive natural product that's mostly sugar, honey is easily faked. "If you can substitute a less expensive source of sugar for the expensive one, you can save some money and gain market share," says the FDA's Stutsman.

It used to be that cane sugar or high-fructose corn syrup was mostly used to thin out honey. But chemically, that was easy to spot. FDA used an isotope test that would easily identify the adulteration.

So counterfeiters got wily and started using beet sugar. Its profile is similar to honey, so the FDA had to switch to a much more complicated, multistep test comparing the sugar profiles to see if the proportions and trace materials match.

"But once we started catching people, they create a moving target. They'll switch to something more difficult (to detect)," says Stutsman.

Maple syrup

Maple syrup is another high-value item that can be adulterated. In these tough economic times, Vermont, the nation's largest supplier to flapjacks everywhere, may up its testing programs.

The boiled-down sap of the sugar maple tree can be diluted with water or sugar by sellers "trying to get more bang for the buck," says Kristin Haas, food safety director in the state's Agency for Agriculture, Food and Markets.

Vermont's testing program has found fraud only three times in the past 17 years, says Haas, but it's not taken lightly. "A couple of years back, there was a gentleman who actually went to prison because of this issue."

When times get tight, the incentive to cheat can rise like sap in the spring, so the state may have to work harder to keep its premier product pure.

Vanilla

A product of the tropics, vanilla pods can be soaked in milk or stored in sugar to impart a delicate vanilla scent to foods. More commonly, they're soaked in alcohol that is then used as a flavoring.

But vanillin (pronounced VAN-ah-lynn), a chemical copy of the richly organic vanilla flavor, was created in the laboratory in the 19th century. When used in foods, it's supposed to be labeled as an artificial flavor and usually is.

One "too good to be true" product to watch out for is really inexpensive vanilla extract sometimes sold in Mexico and Latin America, says the FDA. It's often made with coumarin, a toxic substance that has been banned in U.S. foods since 1954.

Coumarin is chemically related to warfarin, a blood thinner, and can be dangerous. It's "no bargain," the FDA says.

Just make sure that you make time for your body and soul. You’ll see and feel the difference after just two weeks.

THE 52-WEIGHT-LOSS DIET PLAN

Recently, I heard on the news that soon people will be spending a dollar out of every five for medical expenses. But if we are healthy, we don’t have to fall prey to this reckoning. As we grow older, we gain weight. I am a witness! And guess what? We do not need this extra load we are carrying. Therefore, I am doing something about it.

My friend and I have decided to embark upon a Weight-Loss Plan to lose 52 pounds in one year. We have started by promising to lose one pound a week. Thus, we hope to lose 52 pounds by the second week in February 2007. We have already started, but it’s not too late for YOU to join with us. So, hop on board and be a NEW HEALTHIER, LIGHTER WEIGHT this time next year!

Some of the things we plan to do are:

-limit our intake of “white” foods: rice, bread, potatoes, ice cream, sugar, etc.

-eliminate fast foods and processed foods

-walk at least 3 days a week

-do not eat after 8 P.M. – drink green tea with mint

-eat more fruits and veggies

-bake rather than fry our meats

-drink plenty of water and tea

-weigh in every Tuesday and E-mail the other party the new weight status

A weekly journal is kept of weight lost or gained. And there is no fair or fun cheating.

If you do not need to lose 52 pounds, then adjust the plan to the amount of pounds to lose and time frame appropriate for you. If you need any help, let me know.

By now everyone has heard something about these days being of “Doom and Gloom” and/or being “The Time of the End”. Of a Truth, these are indeed the “Latter Days” spoken of in the Hebrew Scriptures, and a time of horrendous chaos and confusion and death at every turn. Throughout the world people are hungry, impoverished, and dying, especially in GOD‘s Land, where the violence and upheaval can spread into neighboring countries and cause even greater calamity for all the peoples in the region.

The Israelis have wreaked havoc and death in Gaza and in other parts of Palestinian territories, but few people realize the full magnitude of all the destruction and death that has devastated the Palestinians and their habitations. Only the Aljazeera News has provided full coverage and shown the endless rows of dead bodies of children and adults killed in the Holocaust that is taking place in the Land of Israel over the past few weeks.

And if you think you can imagine the fear these Palestinians have endured with all the bombardment they have witnessed, well, think again. I vividly recall the explosion that happened over a decade ago at the Hercules Division in New Jersey. Our home is at least seven miles away from where the explosion took place, but it sounded as if it happened right next door to our home. I personally thought a bomb had been dropped beside the house, and I cannot express in words how frightened we all were from these spectacularly loud noises. I never want to hear such blasts ever again. Hence, given what the Iraqis and Palestinians have shared about the bombs that have fallen on their homes and communities, this noise and destruction is not anything adults or children can get used to, as each one strikes utmost fear in their hearts, especially in the young.

Nevertheless, the CREATOR GOD is calling HIS Mighty Ones to Judge the US, whereby, it, too, will understand what Iraqis and Palestinians have experienced. The US and the world will be judged for its great sins, wickedness, worship of false gods, and enslavement of GOD’s Covenant People, the SEED of the Children of Israel. Of a Truth, the Rulers of this country and the world must be punished for the deceptions they have disseminated specifically to change GOD’s Ordinances and with much hatred to deceive GOD‘s Chosen People.

“The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see. Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles. I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness. The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land. Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.” Isaiah 13:1 - 6

“And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.” Isaiah 13:19

When speaking of the Israelites, it was the GOD of Israel that said, “In their affliction, they will seek me early.” But I don’t think people are understanding and making the connection that the CREATOR GOD must be the focus, as well as obedience to HIS WORD and more so than the mayhem that prevails throughout the world. The world has forgotten the CREATOR for the likes of a man-god and other man-made religions, but now the tide is turning and GOD‘s Righteousness will once again prevail.

It would be naïve to believe that the CREATOR would forever allow all this wickedness and at the hands of Gentile control and corruption to continue without remedy for the wicked and have the world forget HIM, the True and Living GOD, and HIS “Perfect” Way of Righteousness. It would also be naïve to believe that this Righteous GOD would dismiss the sins of this world and condone belief in a man god, as Christianity teaches. Just as the CREATOR GOD Judged the wicked during the days of Noah, HE will again destroy the disobedient. Why would the CREATOR of all this Great Universe allow the people HE Created to undo the very manifestations that have distinguished HIM the True and Living GOD? The ONE GOD that manifest all these Works is the ONE GOD due ALL the Praise and Glory!

How much longer should the CREATOR wait to be recognized as the ONE and ONLY GOD of All CREATION? And how much longer should the CREATOR GOD of Israel wait for Israelites, HIS Covenant People, and for other Nations and peoples to accept and live by HIS Righteous Way of Life Commanded of everyone since the CREATION of mankind?

Unbeknownst to many, the CREATOR GOD has not hidden HIS WORD even in view of all manner of false worship, especially Christianity, that has all but decimated HIS Laws, Statutes, and Judgments and deceived the world. Of course it is true, that the GOD of Israel’s Commandment was to curse HIS Chosen People to serve their enemies and worship their gods, but this was because of their rejecting HIM for false gods. And without fail, GOD’s WORD was sure and swift to punish HIS Chosen for their abominations in worshipping idols, exactly as HE had said. But Mercifully, “HIS Hand is stretched out still”.

“And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.” Deuteronomy 28:64

“Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.” Isaiah 9:17

Yes, indeed,, the CREATOR GOD of Israel has proven HIMSELF to be a most Merciful and Loving GOD. HE has opened our eyes to HIS Truth and has brought us out of Gross Darkness, even while we are yet under the control of Gentiles. HE is warning HIS People and the world with HIS WORD at the mouth of HIS Prophets, found only in the Hebrew Scriptures. Rather than continue to curse the SEED of Jacob, the Holy ONE is now warning HIS People and all who will take heed that HE is preparing to destroy the wicked off HIS planet and establish HIS Ways of Life and HIS Peace for all who seek HIM to follow HIS Ways in sincerity and in Righteousness.

As this Message denotes, this is our last chance to seek the CREATOR GOD and conform to HIS Expectations of old, i.e., the Old Paths, the Ancient Ways cast up, the same LAWS given to Adam, Noah, Abraham, and the Children of Israel to live by FOREVER! Therefore, now is the time to consider and understand GOD’s Truth and HIS WORD and act accordingly, for GOD’s Hand is stretched out to deal with all the world of peoples who defy HIM and HIS objective.

“This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations. For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?” Isaiah 14:26,27

To believe that President Obama will “Save the US” from GOD’s Wrath upon this nation (and the world) is to believe in “La-La Land”. It won’t happen! Prophecy will rule!!!

For GOD’s Holy Name and for HIS Righteousness’ Sake, the past will not be forgotten - HIS Truth will triumph and prevail. GOD Created this Earth for man to live on in Righteousness and to worship and Praise HIM for HIS Goodness and Mercy towards mankind. The CREATOR GOD destroyed the disobedient of Noah’s Day and HIS Plan is to do the same to the evil and wicked of this day, as well. The only difference is that it will not happen with a Flood. HE will keep HIS Promise.

“Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned. Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities. For I will rise up against them, saith the LORD of hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, saith the LORD. I will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith the LORD of hosts.” Isaiah 14:20 - 23

The Rulers of the US have its people believing that this country is and very much should be the number one nation in the world and should set examples for the rest of the nations to follow. But according to what’s written at the mouth of GOD’s Prophets, this country will pay for its sinful ways against the CREATOR GOD of Israel, for all its false worship, for the suffering of those who have no voice, for enslavement of GOD’s Chosen People, for sustained racism and impoverishment, for exploiting poor nations, and for maintaining the status quo of Third World countries.

“Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?” Isaiah 14:9,10

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” Isaiah 14:12 - 14

They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?” Isaiah 14:15 - 17

The Righteous CREATOR GOD does not wrest JUDGMENT! Did not the GOD of Israel divide the Kingdom after King Solomon worshipped the gods of his umpteen wives? Did not the GOD of Israel sustain the Judahites in captivity IN THE LAND OF ISRAEL upon their return from the 70-year Babylonian captivity because they still would not obey HIS LAW? And did not the GOD of Israel cease to send visions to HIS Prophets because HIS Chosen-Covenant People flatly refused to serve and worship HIM? How then can we think that punishment is not the consequence for transgression? And why believe that this punishment is for another time and not at hand? The Israelites whom GOD scattered into the “Four Corners of the Earth” are Witnesses to HIS determination to punish them, as well as others who sin against HIM.

I asked several people how they would describe “The Perfect Utopia”. Everyone included money on their list, but no one mentioned a life of Righteousness. Living in Righteousness - Worship of the GOD of Moses and Observance of HIS LAW - enables wealth, prosperity, and joy in life. What good is wealth without knowledge of GOD’s Ways of Righteousness and obedience to HIS LAW? Wouldn’t we just continue in the present evil ways of this wicked world without taking GOD’s Paths of Righteousness?

“Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for? And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day? Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;” Deuteronomy 4:5 - 9

Sadly and unfortunately, I have found that people, even Israelites, haven’t a clue about living in Righteousness and in happiness, but are bent on living in the lands of the heathen and under their influence and control, nonetheless. By the way, no one mentioned wanting GOD to end wickedness either.

My concept of “The Perfect Utopia” exists only in the days of GOD’s Peace. My ideals are not written in stone, but I know in my heart exactly how I want to live in GOD’s Peace, in HIS Kingdom on this HIS Wondrous Earth:

- Worship and Praise of the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob

- Institution of GOD’s Ways of Righteousness

- Comfort in knowing GOD’s Truth and worshipping ONLY HIM

“Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.” Psalm 149:2 - 5

“Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.” Psalm 150:1 - 6

- Stability, tranquility, and Justice sustained around the world due to all peoples worshipping the ONE True GOD of Moses and keeping HIS LAW

- Good Health and prosperity for obedience to the GOD of Moses

- An END to the worship of all religions and structures representing false gods

- GOD and HIS Holy Name is Sanctified to HIS satisfaction daily, every evening and every morning, and HIS Holy Priests will sing songs of Praise and Glory to HIM for HIS Goodness towards HIS Covenant People, Israel, and to all who trust in HIM

“And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. And the idols he shall utterly abolish. And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;” Isaiah 2:17 - 20

- Genuine Happiness and tears of continuous joy

- And end to wickedness, war, deception, and exploitation

- All peoples endeavoring to employ friendly relations with family, friends, neighbors, as well as with others nationally and internationally

“…your sins have withholden good things from you.”

Once the wicked are destroyed, we cannot even imagine what the CREATOR GOD of Israel has in store for the peoples, Israelites and the Strangers, who will accept HIM for their GOD and who will gladly rejoice in observing HIS Ways of Righteousness.

“Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!” Psalm 31:19

“Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.” Psalm 37:34

“That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.” Psalm 94:13

“Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” Isaiah 3:10

“For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.” Isaiah 64:4

So also will the True and Living GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob rejoice over HIS People.

“For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.” Isaiah 62:5

“And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.” Isaiah 12:4,5

“Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.” Ezekiel 36:22 - 25

“And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.” Ezekiel 36:27

What could be better than this?!!! O’, My People, we have so much to look forward to. If Our GOD of Israel can Create the Heavens and the Earth and all things therein, then there is no way to fathom all that HE has in store for the Righteous Remnant HE will call and for the peoples of the world who will seek to make HIM their GOD and SAVIOR and will be obedient to HIS LAW!

Yes, there will be great reason for joy and happiness when Our GOD of Israel destroys the wicked, but of even greater importance to all the world is that there will be no confusion about what God to worship and what God to Fear.

“And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

“The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

“And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.” Isaiah 2:3,11,19

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God. For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.” Isaiah 10:20 - 22

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” Isaiah 10:27

And let us not forget that the Seed of King David will reign and Judge in the Ways of the CREATOR GOD to ensure that the GOD of Israel will never, ever be forgotten again!

“In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.” Isaiah 4:2

“And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.” Isaiah 11:1 - 5

In closing, please, allow me to stress that we really do not have much time, as it is late. We are facing the same scenario of destruction of the wicked that occurred during the days preceding the Flood of Noah’s time. We are also facing the circumstances preceding the fall of “Fire and Brimstone” upon Sodom and Gomorrah. In that the CREATOR GOD will not justify the wicked, HIS Wrath and Judgment are sure and are waiting in the wings to fulfill prophecy.

“…I will not justify the wicked.” Exodus 23:7

HE will and must destroy the wicked, so that the Righteous might live and thrive in peace and happiness before HIM on HIS magnificent Earth without fear of people enticing them to worship false gods and influencing them to commit evil. Hence, this is our last chance to make things right with Our GOD in order that we will be hid during the days of this Great Destruction ahead.

“Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.” Zephaniah 2:3

The GOD of Israel has waited long enough. Now, it is HIS turn to be Feared and worshipped by every human being and time for HIM to be worshipped and recognized as the ONE True and Living GOD. HIS Wondrous Works and Power must be acknowledged. Also, because HE is a JEALOUS GOD, HE wants all Peoples to worship HIM in Jerusalem in the place HE chose to set HIS Holy Name. And rightly so, for the GOD of Israel is the CREATOR GOD of this Universe, Heaven and Earth, mankind, and all things therein. HE deserves to be Magnified and placed in the highest esteem with AWE and Admiration and more than anyone and anything upon the face of this Earth. HE alone deserves to be called the ONE and ONLY True and Living GOD!

THE SMOKESCREEN

We can assume the Universe was established by a “Big Bang,” or we can seek a more intelligent theory.

The more intelligent reasoning is that a Supreme Being did in fact Create the Heavens, Earth, and all things therein. Then the issue becomes, “Did this Supreme Being intend for HIS CREATION to exist in such a chaotic state of absolute Hell, as it is now?” If not, then it is incumbent upon us to seek answers for the present horrific state of affairs in the Land of Israel and the rest of the Middle East that is capable of spreading to other countries even to the United States.

It is not likely that this Supreme Being did not advise the people of HIS Creation IN THE BEGINNING of how to live in goodness and in peace with each other, which certainly entailed how to worship HIM for giving them life. For there not to exist harmony and happiness on this Earth, it is evident that from the looks of things and from the ever-present catastrophic events taking place on Earth, this Supreme Being is furious with the peoples HE Created.

This is where we are now. The CREATOR is Judging the peoples of HIS Creation and is taking back HIS Universe.

History proves that Jerusalem is the Holy City of the GOD of Israel, that the Israelites are HIS Chosen, Covenant People, and that the Land of Israel belongs to HIM, as well. So, why all the attention given to this area of the world that is proving to be the catalyst leading to the end of this present world system?

The Palestinians have been in the land since the reign of King Saul, and the European Israelis have been a State since 1948, opening their doors to other converted Europeans and whomsoever else wishing to take part in this Talmudic process and live off the fat of GOD’s Holy Land. The Palestinians and the Israelis have been at war ever since. If these two groups can live together anywhere in the world except in Israel, then there must be a very good reason why. However, the reason is not one that Israelis desire to make public. Israeli hatred of the Arabs is not at all the issue. There exists a more profound reason than that. Finger pointing at the Arabs is but the ubiquitous smokescreen presented to the world.

THE TRUTH ABOUT CONVERSION TO SO-CALLED “JUDAISM”

The world should connect the dots and learn the truth regarding the Europeans who control GOD’s Holy Land. There is no way the GOD of Israel will accept a conversion process that changes Europeans, Americans, and Middle Easterners into “Jews.” GOD’s Covenant is with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and their SEED. Accordingly, how can we dismiss the fact that Abraham was called out of Ur of the Chaldeans – NOT out of Europe. GOD well knows HIS Chosen People, no matter that HE took their identity from them and cast them from HIS Land.

And their being scattered into the “Four Corners of the Earth” to serve their enemies has everything to do with the problems in the Middle East, as this crisis relates to the CREATOR GOD taking back HIS Universe, HIS Holy Land, HIS Holy City, and HIS Chosen People. The Israelis know this. They see the handwriting on the wall, but they are fighting the CREATOR GOD tooth and nail. That’s what this war is all about - Israeli control - to keep out the SEED of Jacob whom GOD is calling home. Hence, the Israelis, even if time permitted, would not give the Palestinians their State for fear the Israelites would seek to live there also. And just for the record, one can learn about the true identity of the descendants of Jacob by reading what the CREATOR GOD of Israel said would befall them in Leviticus 26^th and Deuteronomy 28^th Chapters.

The Israelis have a rabid requirement to control all the Land of Israel including the Palestinian territories for one reason and for one reason only, which has everything to do with their “Law of Return.” The Israelis and their Rabbinute (their religious party) are ever aware that the CREATOR GOD of Israel has a Covenant People – The Twelve Tribes of Jacob, and they know that according to Biblical Prophecy the CREATOR GOD of the Land of Israel and this Universe will restore HIS Chosen People to their heritage. For obvious reasons, in no way do the Israelis (European converts to what’s called “Judaism,” which is of their own making) want this to happen, for then they will no longer have control of the Land of Israel at all. However, they know their days are numbered.

“Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame. But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come. For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown: And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded:”

Ezekiel 36:7 – 10

Now, the Truth is out. This is the reason for the decades of turmoil, death, and destruction over GOD’s Holy Land. And of a Truth, the Israeli powers-that-be have no qualms about their dilemma. They are prepared to fight to the end, but who are they really fighting? It all has to do with what prophecy foretells, and what must be fulfilled.

Conversely, Israelis are putting too much false hope in their military powers. When it comes to the Children of Israel, the CREATOR GOD fights their battles, and since it is time for their return, there is nothing Israeli’ weaponry can do to stop GOD’s Commandment from manifesting.

The Israelites were formed to show forth GOD’s Praise and to be a light to the world for HIS Ways of Righteousness – HIS Book of the Law (the teachings of the Prophet Moses – NOT the Talmud compiled by European “Jews”).

“Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;”

Isaiah 42:5,6

“This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.” Isaiah 43:21

And it is for this reason the Supreme Being, or rather the CREATOR GOD of Israel is taking back HIS magnificent Universe and making it a place of Divine Peace, one that Exalts and Magnifies HIM for all HIS Wondrous Works.

The CREATOR GOD has held HIS Peace for a very long time, all because of the curses HE put on HIS Chosen People for forsaking HIM for false gods and for rejecting HIS LAW. Their rebellion caused GOD to cast HIS People into the hands of the heathen, and HE went into seclusion permitting Gentiles to run the world and teach HIS People a lesson that would send them running back to HIM seeking forgiveness with contrite spirits.

“I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.” Isaiah 42:14

For a long time people believed that the European “Jews” were really the people of the Bible, but the CREATOR knows HIS Chosen People, the SEED of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the men with whom HE made an Everlasting Covenant (Genesis 17:1 – 21).

From the Slave Trade to world hatred, and enduring racism and discrimination all over the world, Blacks have suffered at the hands of those who ruled over them. But now, the CREATOR GOD of Israel is awakening the Dry Bones and calling HIS People home to the chagrin and utter dismay of European Israelis who are helpless to do anything about it but who still have plans to thwart the WORD of GOD. Trust me, their efforts will not end in victory, and nothing since 1948 has even given them hope that they could take the place of the SEED of Jacob/Israel (Genesis 32:28) – neither by conversion nor submersion.

Thus, the reasons for the war for Israeli control of GOD’s Land and the reasons for a world of troubled times, disasters, endless suffering, despair, and many, many tears.

The CREATOR is taking back HIS Universe and keeping HIS Everlasting Promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Patriarchs of the Nation of Israel.

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God. For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.” Isaiah 10:20 - 22

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.” Isaiah 11:11

“And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.” Ezekiel 36:27

For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God. They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn. Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock. For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he. Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all. Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.” Jeremiah 31:1 – 13

“The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.” Zephaniah 3:13

“Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.” Zephaniah 3:19

And for all HIS Creations, especially man, the ONE CREATOR GOD of Israel will be acknowledged and worshipped by HIS Chosen People and all Nations remaining from HIS Wrath and destruction of the wicked. The Peoples of this world will revolve around its MAKER!

Yes, the All-Mighty CREATOR will liberate HIS Holy Land and will return to HIS Holy City Jerusalem, where once again HIS Holy Priests will minister before HIM and where people of all Nations will visit to Bless HIM for HIS GOODNESS and for HIS Holy Name’s Sake.

“And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 66:23

“And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.” Zechariah 14:16

FINALLY:

WHAT IS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE CREATOR GOD?

1. Breaking the Chains of Psychological Slavery by Na'im Akbar (a very short book, but it's chock full of good, good stuff);

2. Africans and Their History by Dr. Joseph E. Harris (the book is not a big book either and there's even a paperback edition. Yet, it is one of the most comprehensive and easy-to-follow books on Africa that I've read);

3. Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome by Dr. Joy Learey (in my opinion, this sister, even without an Israelite perspective, has produced the definitive work on explaining some of our behaviors, thought patterns, etc. She also offers some practical solutions that can be adopted and are even more applicable because we know the origin of our pathological behavior);

4. Capitalism and Slavery by Eric Williams (even though Dr. Williams speaks mainly about West Indian slavery, he offers a comprehensive perspective as to why we should not embrace our oppressors - particularly when we understand what they have done to us and their mindset on the whole institution).

5. Holy Land, Whose Land?: Modern Dilemma, Ancient Roots by Dorothy Drummond (she offers an interesting perspective on the question and she offers both the scientific and historical explanations as to why this is so);

6. The Woman's Encyclopedia of Myths and Secrets by Barbara G. Walker. This is a great reference book for explaining many of the pagan origins of beliefs, practices, etc.

7. The Penguin Dictionary of Religions, edited by John R. Hinnells;

8. The Penguin Dictionary of Symbols, by Jean Chevalier and Alain Gheerbrant;
Both of these reference books offer a wealth of information as to the origin or certain religious beliefs, how these beliefs were founded, and how various symbols are derived from paganism, etc.

9. Anything by the late Dr. Amos N. Wilson, particularly the following: The Developmental Psychology of the Black Child; Awakening the Natural Genius of Black Children; & The Falsification of Afrikan Consciousness.

NOTE: Dr. Wilson was an inspired, if sometimes soporific lecturer, although his lectures were mainly delivered in the vernacular of the common man. His books are written is some common language that is easily comprehensible, while also including language that may be difficult for some to follow (i.e., written in academic language). However, folks who are good and/or avid readers will gain a lot from his work.

10. The Hidden History of New York: A guide for Black Folks by Tingba Apidta, the 3rd in a series of The Reclamation Project, Boston, MA. (This book is for those who mistakenly believe that slavery and Jim Crow were Southern U.S. phenomena.)

11. African Perspective on Colonialism by A. Adu Boahen (An African's view of his continent's conquerors. Very interesting and informative.)

12. *The Jew and the Christian Missionary: A Jewish Response to Missionary Christianity" by Gerald Segal, KTAV Publishing House, Inc., NY, 1981.

*Please note that this book may be completely out of print. When I ordered mine on amazon.com a few years ago, (The Strand and other out-of-print publishers did not have a copy) it cost me $53 (other copies were being sold for as high as $250!). A congregation might want to track this publication down and pay for a copy and then distribute without charge, copies of sections, citing the source, of course. This way, they don't infringe on copyright laws. It is one of those remarkable books that once acquired, you don't let out6 of your possession.

THE SOAPBOX THAT SPEAKS…

AMERICA FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER

VOTED FOR A BLACK PRESIDENT

Of course this US 2009 Presidential Inauguration will go down in history books as being one of phenomenal amazement. However, at the end of the day, the final chapter will be of the fall of the “Greatest Country in the World”. The CREATOR GOD has a Judgment for this racist country, just as HE had one for all nations that took HIS People captive, and there is nothing any Black President can do about that. As we know from the Hebrew Scriptures, the CREATOR GOD renders punishment upon the wicked for their iniquity. And if people believe that President Obama will redeem the United States from this punishment, they are mistaken. GOD’s Covenant People endured painful burdens of blood, sweat, tears, maiming, degradation, and death at the hands of White Americans, and even the GOD of Israel said that they showed no mercy.

“I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.” Isaiah 47:6

GOD does not wrest Judgment:

“And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

“And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

“It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.

“And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.” Isaiah 13:11,19,20,22

Although I very much like and admire the Obama family and the image they all portray, I cannot be excited about a Black man being President of the United States - a country that perpetuates unjust practices, that enslaved my forebears, and that yet smears and afflicts minorities. President Obama cannot change the past nor save this country from the imminent prophecy to be fulfilled upon it. GOD’s Wrath will prevail, and in the end many souls will be lost.

When GOD destroys all that is “America“, HE will call attention to HIMSELF, just as HE did with the destruction of Ancient Egypt, Pharaoh, and his army. The only difference is that the Daughter of Babylon, the United States, will never be inhabited again.

To its chagrin, the White House has a merciless and bloody history. Orders for blood have echoed from the White House since its construction, that was, built by Slaves, by the way, and has not ceased since. All the Presidential Administrations that have proceeded forth have exploited defenseless countries and/or instigated their fall. The world must know that there is a GOD, and a merciful GOD at that. HE is a Righteous GOD and does not tolerate the evil and wickedness that the United States demonstrates and sustains.

Neither a White President nor a Black President can change GOD’s Plan that HE has in store for “America the Beautiful” that falsely boasts “In God We Trust”.

which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments,

and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.”

What exactly does the GOD of Israel mean when HE Commands us to take diligent heed to do HIS Commandments and HIS LAW?

IN THAT…

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.” Deuteronomy 30:19,20

AND…

“And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law. For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.” Deuteronomy 32:46,47

I would think that to take diligent heed means to be extremely cautious to keep GOD’s LAW, read and study it, DO IT, and pray to the GOD of Israel for wisdom to understand it. And in addition to that common sense would be to either join with others so determined or be alone in returning back to the Holy ONE and what’s required of the SEED of Jacob.

This might seem ever so trivial a detail to some, but it means a world to the GOD of Israel. You see, I used to belong to Ben Ammi’s group, and I left for many reasons, but mainly because he was allowing people to call him JC and “Saviour” and because he was not concerned about GOD’s LAW and much less about taking heed to live and do it.

What truly, truly disturbs me is that there are people encouraging Israelites to join up with Ben Ammi and accept his title – “Messianic Leader,” as well as the blasphemous notion that the True and Living GOD would have such a congregation to represent HIM. Yes, of course the so-called “KOY” exists, but it does not represent the GOD of Israel and HIS LAW, i.e., HIS Ways of Righteousness that HE Commanded of the Prophet Moses to teach to the Nation of Israel. This group does not in any way signify the Kingdom of YAH, and indeed it cannot in any way portray GOD’s Righteous Kingdom.

The “KOY” is a congregation of people calling themselves Israelites and living according to the Laws of Ben Ammi and the imaginations of his contrary and devious heart. The wise in the knowledge of Truth know that Ben Ammi’s camp, built on corruption, crime, lust, adultery, and death, cannot in any way be connected with the Holy ONE of Israel’s Divine and Righteous Kingdom or cannot be established to receive the Remnant GOD said would return.

“The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly. I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.” Jeremiah 23:20 – 22

“My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.” Jeremiah 50:6

Moreover, King David’s Seed will head the CREATOR GOD’s Righteous Kingdom that will exist upon this Earth, and he will know to be the perfect role model for living GOD’s LAW in Righteousness.

I have never read where Kings David and Solomon called themselves “Messiah.”

“And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.” Isaiah 11:1 – 5

“And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.” Isaiah 11:10

And this Righteous Kingdom will be all about serving, worshipping, and PRAISING the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and about representing HIM and spreading HIS Laws, Statutes, and Judgments throughout this world, in order that the CREATOR GOD of Israel will be Magnified and will receive all the Praise and all the Glory, so that people will abandon the “New Testament” and its theology. Have no doubts about it, the son of David will rule from Jerusalem and the GOD of Heaven and Earth will rule over all (Psalm 103:19).

I find nothing in GOD’s WORD to support an existence of HIS Kingdom in Israel under the control of Gentile Jews. Ben Ammi has deceived hundreds into believing this lie that he is the Messianic leader of GOD’s Kingdom. How long are we going to follow leaders who use GOD’s Holy Name in vain?!

Taking heed to keep GOD’s LAW would entail staying as far from Ben Ammi as possible. And the fact that HE keeps his stores open on GOD’s Holy Day of Complete REST is a darn good red flag and eye-opener that shouts to stay away from this leader, as of a Truth, he does not FEAR the GOD of Israel to do HIS Will. And what better information exists from Our GOD to prove Ben Ammi to be one who defies the All-Mighty GOD!

“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Isaiah 8:20

This passage is the best gauge Israelites have for determining and for understanding who to accept as a genuine leader or know who FEARS the Holy ONE of Israel. If Ben Ammi and the people of his camp defy the Most High GOD of Israel, then why join with them, and why take part in their beliefs unfounded in GOD’s LAW and in their disobedience?

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” Psalm 1:1,2

“I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.” Psalm 26:5

“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:” Psalm 66:18

“Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.” Psalm 141:4

“Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider. Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.” Isaiah 1:2 - 4

Another perfect incident that serves to explain why we cannot join with people who break GOD’s LAW concerns Jehoshaphat and Ahziah. And does it ever speak VOLUMES!

“And after this did Jehoshaphat king of Judah join himself with Ahaziah king of Israel, who did very wickedly: And he joined himself with him to make ships to go to Tarshish: and they made the ships in Eziongaber. Then Eliezer the son of Dodavah of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, Because thou hast joined thyself with Ahaziah, the LORD hath broken thy works. And the ships were broken, that they were not able to go to Tarshish.” II Chronicles 20:35 – 37

Let’s not pretend we don’t know about our past and how our stiffnecked and rebellious forebears loved to be connected with evildoers and how they encouraged the lawful to follow wickedness. At least admit to what THUS SAITH THE LORD!

At this late day and in the time of Jacob’s Trouble, why would we even consider joining with Ben Ammi or with anyone or with any congregation that does not make GOD’s LAW the Paths of Righteousness to follow and walk? Our GOD of Israel promises us that if we return to HIM and HIS LAW, that then we can return to our heritage (Deuteronomy 30:1-4). If people will join with Ben Ammi, then for them GOD’s Promise is made void.

“And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.” Ezekiel 11:12

“Why criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee.” Jeremiah 30:15

“And hast given them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey; And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do: therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them:” Jeremiah 32:22,23

What a crime! Ben Ammi was among the blessed to return, but just like his rebellious forefathers, he, too, refuses to be obedient to the LAWS of the GOD of Israel.

The WORD of the GOD of Israel also condemns Ben Ammi for calling himself a “Messianic Leader” in order to gather Israelites and Christians into his fold. But in no way does he emulate the “Old Testament” men of GOD!

Was Moses, Joshua, Samuel, the kings of Israel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, or any of the other Prophets who promoted GOD’s Book of the Law and who spoke “THUS SAITH THE LORD” called a Messiah? Do we need this? Is this something required of us to have before us?

I listened to a Brother in Paltalk Chat go to extremes to contrive a justifiable explanation for Ben Ammi calling himself a Messiah. The Truth of the matter is that this word is not even connected with Hebrew-Israelite Culture. “Jews” and Christians and the Book of Daniel and the “New Testament” are very much associated with the word “Messiah,” but not the Israelites who wandered forty years in the Wilderness and inhabited the Land of Israel. And if Moses was NOT given this C.E. terminology to introduce to the Children of Israel, then there is no reason for us to know about it at all. There isn’t even ANY information in this Book of Daniel or in the “New Testament” that is essential for Israelites to know and do – none at all. All that the GOD of Israel required of us to know and do was given to HIS Servant Moses and is reiterated in the books of HIS Prophets who utter “THUS SAITH THE LORD.” There is no “THUS SIAITH THE LORD” in the Book of Daniel or in the “New Testament.” Both of these books were written AFTER GOD scattered HIS Chosen People, Israel, from the land. That being the case, this literature is suspect, and proof of this is the fact that the Israelites were scattered to live in “Darkness” and to serve their enemies. So, why would the Holy ONE give them any information about seventy weeks or seventy years or seventy anything?

And even if this information is for a time after the Israelites return, the information still makes no sense. “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week…” (Daniel 9:27). This verse contradicts what “THUS SAITH THE LORD” about HIS Covenant in Jeremiah 31:31 – 34 and in Ezekiel 20:37. And not one of GOD’s Prophets makes mention of this event in the Book of Daniel.

Just for the record, “THUS SAITH THE LORD” is mentioned more than 400 times in the “Old Testament” but not even once in the Book of Daniel or in the “New Testament.” That’s no m
